WHAT I LEARNED AT MEREDITH IS THAT ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU ARE DETERMINED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. I TOOK THE FIRST STEPS, BUT I HAD AN ARMY BEHIND ME PUSHING ME FORWARD AND HOLDING STEADY SO THAT I COULD NOT GO BACKWARD. MEREDITH EMBRACED ME, AND I EMBRACED MY (NOW) ALMA MATER.” VAUNE BLALOCK, ’20 Dance Studies Major
On the cover: A family and consumer sciences major, Dana Oliver, '19, honed her communication and leadership skills at Meredith and now uses her strengths to mentor young women and help them reach their full potential.

ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS Meredith College is a signatory school on articulation agreements with the North Carolina Community College System. These agreements make it easier for students to complete four-year degrees at Meredith. Associate of Arts or Associate of Science
Students who complete the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at a North Carolina community college enter Meredith as juniors, are guaranteed transfer of all eligible credit hours, and register early with the junior class. Associate of Fine Arts
Students enrolling at Meredith with an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree from a North Carolina community college who meet all admissions requirements (including performance-based requirements) may enter under an articulation agreement. Upon completion of an AFA degree in art, music, or theatre, a student will receive a minimum of 60 semester hours of academic credits.
EVENING BUSINESS DEGREE COMPLETION Students transferring to Meredith with an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree, or students enrolling at Meredith to pursue a second degree in business administration, are eligible for the evening business degree completion program. All business courses are offered on campus in the evenings.
WINGS STUDENT WEEKLY CHATS All new Wings students are encouraged to participate in virtual conversations that are offered weekly during their first semester. These conversations provide opportunities to connect with other adult students while discussing relevant topics and sharing wisdom and insights with each other.
BECOME EVEN STRONGER. My time at Meredith gave me the chance to explore all of my interests while also affording me internship opportunities. Investing this time in myself made me a more focused, more confident, and ultimately a much stronger candidate for graduate programs.”

Taking care of family and being a full-time student is very tough. I was scared that if I opened up and discussed the challenges then I would be scrutinized. But that was not the case at Meredith. Everyone understood and appreciated my decision for coming back to school to pursue my education. This helped me push through the difficult semesters and encouraged me to keep going. The more I opened up, the more I saw others get more comfortable sharing their stories.”

I’VE LEARNED SO MUCH, NOT JUST FROM MY STUDIES, BUT ABOUT MYSELF – THAT I AM PREPARED TO GO TO THE NEXT STEP AND GET MY PH.D. I DON’T HAVE THE THOUGHTS THAT I SHOULDN’T DO THIS OR I’M NOT SMART ENOUGH. I’M GOING TO DO THIS. I HAVE THAT CONFIDENCE.” BARBARA DIAMOND, ’20 Chemistry Major Ph.D. Student, Chemistry, University of Texas, Arlington
