Charles “Wick” Moorman Chairman and CEO of Norfolk Southern to receive Progressive Railroading’s Railroad Innovator Award The RailTrends agenda will include Wick Moorman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Norfolk Southern Corporation, receiving Progressive Railroading’s Railroad Innovator Award. The Award acknowledges Moorman’s outstanding achievements in the rail industry. Moorman, who started his NS career as a co-op student in 1970, has served the Class I in numerous leadership capacities. He previously was assistant vice president of stations, terminals and transportation planning; vice president of personnel and labor relations; and vice president of information technology.
