After a successful 2023 edition of AERO Friedrichshafen, we are looking forward to celebrate our big 30th anniversary edition of AERO with you and attendees from across the globe. The show will showcase the entire range of innovations within the General Aviation industry in 12 exhibition halls, 1 outdoor static display, 2 conference centres and many special areas. The next edition presents many anniversary specials and new side events while Sustainable Aviation will be the overarching topic in the different areas and conferences. For the first time, there will be the so-called AERO Media Awards taking place right before the show. With our new AERO Academy, we will offer trainings for pilots on safety as well as technical workshops on maintaining and restoring aircraft.

THE PREMIER MEDIA EVENT WHERE JOURNALISTS & INDUSTRY MEET
For the first time, the AERO Media Awards will be presented at AERO Friedrichshafen 2024. This high-level media event is developed in close cooperation with Peter Bradfield, organiser of the well-known Aerospace Media Awards held during Paris and Farnborough Airshows. Our joint event will take place on April 16th to honour journalists and publishers specifically within the General Aviation Industry for their outstanding contribution in different areas and categories. Sponsors for the various industry categories and tables are highly welcome.

WHERE PIONEERS OF INNOVATION MEET
The General Aviation industry with its innovations in electric flight and hybrid propulsion technology is at the forefront of the shift towards zero-emission aviation. With the well-established e-flight expo, new AERO Hydrogen & Battery Summit and AERO Sustainable Aviation Trail & Awards, this important topic plays a major role within the entire show. The previous 2023 edition saw a new record of over 50 exhibitors in the e-flight expo in hall A7 and marked a new attainment of over 130 exhibitors on the AERO Sustainable Aviation Trail across the entire show. AERODRONES DRONES FOR POLICE; EMERGENCY & RESCUE MISSIONS
AERODrones is the dedicated 3-day drone event during AERO Friedrichshafen from April 17th to 19th. The show will again bring together representatives from police agencies, fire brigades and rescue services with drone manufacturers, suppliers, and research institutions. The concept combines a high-level 3-day conference programme with the exhibition area to elevate the exchange of information on drone missions and rescue scenarios between industry and the authorities.

Launched successfully at AERO 2023, AERO Career Days as part of AERO Friedrichshafen is the perfect platform for attracting and connecting young talents with the aviation industry. For the 2024 edition the new career event will be expanded to a 2-day event from April 19th to 20th and relocated to the busy east passage between the halls A and B. At the event all companies related to aviation are welcome. AERO Friedrichshafen exhibitors can participate at a special discount rate.
The Be A Pilot area is the ideal platform for flight schools to attract new students during AERO Friedrichshafen. Our cost-effective, turn-key packages combined with the choice location in busy Foyer West offer excellent conditions to get the next generation into the cockpit.

The Business Aviation segment has seen significant growth at AERO Friedrichshafen during the previous editions with more and more OEMs, qualified customers and media in attendance. The static display right next to Friedrichshafen airport has become the centre of Business Aviation of our event where exhibitors have plenty of options to showcase their aircraft. In addition to the exhibition part, the SET-Ops and Business Aviation conferences are two must-attend sessions for business aviation professionals during AERO 2024.
VERTICAL FLIGHT SOLUTIONS FOR THE GENERAL AVIATION INDUSTRY
The well-established Helicopter Hangar at AERO Friedrichshafen is the centre for vertical flight at the show. In cooperation with the German Helicopter Association (DHV), it brings together manufacturers and suppliers with private and commercial pilots, buyers, operators and future employees. A 4-day high-level conference programme within the dedicated Heli Forum rounds out the concept.

AERO GLIDING EXPO
For AERO 2024 we will again welcome the international gliding community in Hall A1 with a new concept. The AERO Gliding Expo will bring together many different aspects of gliding. Industry manufacturers and suppliers will showcase their innovations. Associations and gliding clubs are invited to introduce their organisations to the dedicated attendees. Furthermore networking and knowledge exchange will play an important role during the event as there will be specific gliding conferences and workshops happening in Hall A1.
