The Transformation Begins!
Mayor Ras Baraka
Transformation Newark Transformation Newark is a motivating visualization movement encouraging inspiration and influence to promote new opportunities and explore new ways of doing things that will advance hope and progress within the city of Newark. This is a collaboration effort of transformational churches, TM leadership and likeminded individuals who love the city. Working alongside us is a coalition of political, law enforcement, commercial-private businesses and educational constituencies who all have come together to rebuild the “walls” of Newark, NJ. More To Come...Stay Tuned!
Goodbye StarLedger The city of Newark published its first daily paper In 1832. It looks as though it will stop in 2014. Publisher Samuel Irving Newhouse bought the Star-Eagle in 1939, he merged it with the Newark Ledger, forming the Newark Star-Ledger. The Star-Ledger is New Jersey’s largest daily paper, with a print circulation of about 170,000 daily and 270,000 on Sundays. They have won three Pulitzer Prizes, yet are having massive firings and will be moving to the Edison area within weeks.
Mayor Ras Baraka’s Transformation has begun in City Hall. As of press time 9 director and manager positions have been filled. Many applications have come in as far as the deep south. The Baraka recruitment committee is said to have given Baraka 3 top candidates in each position from which Baraka chooses. It is reported to be quite a extensive interview process. WEDDING & EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY STARING AT: Metro Christian Media
