We knew it was coming, Edmonton. Following weeks of unusually warm conditions, winter has made itself known. With temperatures and wind chill well into the minus20s Sunday, plus a fresh snowfall, residents had to make a quick adjustment to the frigid conditions. “Welcome to winter in Edmonton,” said Bob Dunford, the city’s director of roadway maintenance. Dunford said more than 70 trucks worked through the weekend to bring roads up to good winter-driving condition.
