Bacon butties (10.00am-12.00pm only at the Tea Shed) and refreshments (hot and cold drinks and cakes) will be available to buy from the Tea Shed and the Old Kitchen Tea Room throughout the day. For those who require more substantial fare it is recommended that you bring your own picnic.

BACK FOR 2021, THE MGCC SOCIAL
After its success in 2020, the MG Car Club Social is back for 2021! Nearly 200 MGs representing all eras of the marque attended the event in 2020 at the British Motor Museum. We’re hoping for a bigger and better Social in 2021!
Taking place from 10.00am to 4.00pm on October 9 2021, this informal, social gathering provides a great opportunity to bring out your MG and catch up with friends. The British Motor Museum will also be opening its doors so you can explore the museum and find a hidden gem or two.
The British Motor Museum has all the required processes in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all. Please visit their website to read the guidance in more detail. We are working with the team at the museum to ensure the event follows the latest Government guidelines.
Tickets available early August via the British Motor Museum website www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk

TRIPLE M SUMMER GATHERING
For the past 16 years the Triple-M Register has held its popular annual Summer Gathering in the grounds of the late Peter Green’s house in Farnham Royal. Typically 50-60 Triple-M cars will attend, their owners enjoying a light lunch followed by a gymkhana-type challenge for both car and owner in the field adjacent. There will be a bring and buy stall for Triple-M parts, pride of ownership and fun competitions.
This year’s Summer Gathering is being held on August 29 and is being organised by Peter’s daughter, Elizabeth Taylor. Places must be booked in advance at £20 per person including lunch and drinks throughout the day.
The Register would like to extend an invitation for up to five MGCC members who are not Triple-M owners, though wish to find out a little more about Triple-M ownership. We would hope to pair you up with a host for the day who will endeavour to answer all of your questions.

MG5 EV LONG RANGE
THE MG5 EV is stretching its value for money even further with the introduction of a new longer-range model, which is on sale now.
With a 250-mile range from its 61.1kWh battery, the longer range MG5 EV will take an 80% charge in just 61 minutes on a 50kW rapid charger or 40 minutes on a 100kW rapid charger. A 100% overnight fast charge takes approximately 9.5 hours on a domestic home charger supply. The MG5 EV offers the flexibility and practicality of a capacious station wagon with great driving dynamics and absolutely no driving exhaust emissions. Like all MG models, the New MG5 EV Long Range comes with a 7-year/80,000-mile fully transferable warranty as standard. It is powered by a 115kW electric motor (equivalent to 156PS), giving acceleration of 0-60mph in 7.3 seconds, and developing 260Nm of torque.
With its new 61.1kWh lithium-Ion battery pack, the longer range MG5 EV has a WLTP approved combined range of 250 miles in normal day-to-day use. This rises to 334miles if the car is used solely for urban driving, as confirmed by the WLTP City driving cycle.
Also new on the long-range model is the addition of MG’s MG Pilot Driver Assistance System. MG Pilot is a comprehensive suite of driver assist technologies that complements the driver and gives added confidence on the road.
Prices for the longer range MG5 EV start from just £26,495 after the Plug-In Car Grant (currently £2,500) and business users benefit from 1% Benefit-in-Kind tax (2021/22 tax year).
