A GERMAN MERCHANT TOWNHOUSE TRANSFORMED INTO AN ELEGANT, CONTEMPORARY HOME

In transforming this German Merchant Townhouse from its divided past into a singular vision of elegance and modernity, we undertook a journey that was as challenging as it was rewarding.

The essence of this project lay in harmonising the property’s traditional grace with the seamless integration of contemporary conveniences, a goal that guided every decision we made. Our approach began with a respect for the original architecture, aiming to restore it while weaving in the latest amenities.

The craftsmanship of local artisans was paramount in the restoration, bringing life back to the decorative plaster cornices and preserving the integrity of the stone staircase and panelling.

These elements, paired with modern lighting and heating solutions, exemplify our commitment to blending the old with the new in a seamless manner.

Strategic alterations to the internal layout were essential to enhance the residence’s flow, such as introducing arched glazed window panels above entrance doors and adding a side extension for a practical yet elegant boot room with its own access.

Design highlights of this endeavor include the creation of a new marble-clad chimney breast with a remote-controlled gas fire in the formal seating area, which immediately draws the eye and invites conversation.

I personally oversaw the design of the new study/library and the dining area, complete with a bay window banquette seat, aiming to create spaces that are not only beautiful but fully embrace the joy of living.

Our bespoke joinery, visible in every detail from the kitchen’s Belfast sink to the lit display cabinets, was crafted with precision by local artisans, reinforcing the home’s unique character and quality.

On the first floor, the layout includes spacious bedrooms, a grand formal hallway, and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. The dressing room, with its French windows, offers a peaceful view of the gardens, ensuring a serene start to the day.

Throughout the house, we chose a moody grey palette to bring a sense of sophistication and depth to each room.

Our collaboration with De Gournay to introduce unique wallpapers was a nod to the home’s historical elegance, now reimagined for today’s living standards.

The kitchen, designed to be the heart of the home, is a testament to this philosophy, featuring a long bar that serves multiple purposes, from cooking to entertaining, under the warm glow of a grand pendant light and surrounded by exposed ceiling mouldings.

The addition of a new fireplace in the main reception room and a fully paneled library/office space reflects our desire to create areas within the home that are not just lived in but cherished.

This project, from start to finish, was a labor of love, melding timeless sophistication with modern comfort to forge a residence that is not just grand, but truly inviting

VERSACE HOME BOUTIQUE OPENS

Versace Home opens a boutique within Hangzhou’s Qianjiang Century City district that presents a total immersion into the aesthetic lifestyle and values of the House of Versace across a 1.200sqm space.

The four-storey boutique, that includes the building’s rooftop, shares the influences of Classicism, Italian craft, and contemporary flair that are at the heart of Versace.

The façade is clad in black Marquina marble and features a striking, full-height L-shaped window that adds depth, light and grandeur.

A perimeter detail in golden metal illuminates the structure and furthers the exterior’s unmistakable Versace aesthetic.

Upon entry, a feeling of an Italian Palazzo comes from a considered use of Italianate materials and finishes.

Flooring and walls are finished in matte Calacatta marble, and the use of lacquered frames, glossy black and white marble surfaces, and backlit frosted glass panels creates a dynamic interplay of textures and reflections.

Golden metal punctuates the space through its use in the display fixtures of accessories.

The focal point of the interior is a helical staircase that is crafted with white marble steps and a black glass balustrade.

This architectural feat connects all four levels of the boutique and opens onto a dramatic doubleheight space.

Here, a full-height immersive video wall draws attention and invites visitors on a captivating journey into the world of Versace Home. The boutique presents a

comprehensive selection of designs from the Versace Home collection, produced and distributed by Luxury Living Group.

Featured collections center on the icons of Versace design, including the signature Medusa head that is an immediately recognizable signifier of the House, and the Greca, a classic architectural framing device symbolizing infinity and unity that has become a recurring motif of the House. These design codes feature across pieces including sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, and bookcases, showcasing their power as symbols which transcends fashion design into a full lifestyle.

Other collections featured within the boutique include the Zensational modular sofa and chaise lounge; Stiletto, which brings the precise lines of Versace heels to a collection of furniture; the Iconic coffee tables in marble and golden metal; Goddess light fixtures; and the impactful modular sofa and coffee table of the V21 Signature collection.

VERSACE

Versace is one of the most recognizable names in the world. The luxury House immediately became a leader in fashion and culture following its founding in 1978 by Gianni Versace, and it continues to lead with purpose under the creative vision of Donatella Versace.

Versace’s energy comes from its clash of irreverent references. The tension between classical and contemporary; Italian tradition with the latest innovation; rock music with royalty; myth with today’s celebrity stardom.

This unique formula shapes a creative culture that is expressed through now iconic designs, worldleading imagery, true fashion moments, and a heritage of

innovative Italian artisanship. The Versace name is identified with a lifestyle and attitude that celebrates uniqueness and the power of a person who feels the ultimate freedom to be themself.

The Versace lifestyle includes women’s, men’s, and children’s ready-to-wear, shoes, bags and accessories, Atelier Versace haute couture, eyewear, fragrances, watches, Palazzo Versace hotels, Versace Home homeware, and the Versace Jeans Couture youth line. Versace has a network of 230 boutiques and 638 licensed stores worldwide.

DISCOVER A STUNNINGLY RENOVATED CHALET IN THE HEART OF VERBIER

Situated in the heart of Verbier, this stunningly renovated apartment offers peace, tranquillity and a traditional chalet feel, amalgamated with modern touches.

Verbier, the Alpine village in Switzerland’s Valais Canton is the gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area.

It is perched high above the Val de Bagnes, on a spectacular southfacing plateau. It is renown as a luxury ski resort, for its excellent skiing, for its vibrant social life, its après ski bars and Michelin-starred restaurants, and superb nightclubs.

During the summer, it blesses visitors with sunshine bathed green valleys and snow-capped peaked mountains. The scenery is stunning and ideal for biking, hiking and many other outdoor summer activities.

Alessia has worked with the owners on several their projects, notably in London and in France. Her goal was to bring in her unique Italian design style, and elements from previous projects, and combine them with the more accustomed Swiss chalet style.

The outcome is a home that offers relaxing comfort, combining tradition with modern design styles.

The apartment comprises of 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, Living, Dining room and Kitchen, all surrounded by a wraparound, 270 terraces, offering stunning views.

The warm chalet feeling has not been compromised, the traditional aged wooden floors and walls have been complimented with some sumptuous and elegant fabric

padded walls upholstered with Johnston of Elgin lambswool clot Teviot.

Throughout the whole apartment the rustic woodwork has been matched with matt bronze ironmongery from Joseph Giles, providing an uncompromisable elegance.

Along the marble stone covered entrance hall, is the Kitchen, Living and Dining Room.

The whole area is blessed with windows and glass patio doors offering both natural light and views and these are beautifully complemented with Roman Blinds manufactured from De Le Cuona Seahorse fabric.

The bespoke Kitchen is handcrafted from aged wood, seamlessly complementing the existing wood in the apartment. The Grigio Carnico marble work surfaces provide an elegant statement against the aged wooden joinery.

The kitchen has been fitted with appliances from both Gaggenau and SubZero, providing a striking modern statement.

The Dining room, integrates well with the kitchen, an aged wooden table is matched with elegant bespoke chairs covered in Jim Thompson grey velvet and from the ceiling, is an antler style chandelier, from Restoration Hardware, providing chalet warmth and ambient lighting.

The Living Room is squared off with a beautiful sumptuous mohair rug from Gallery Zozan Antwerpen, Belgium.

The modern, yet very comfortable furniture is a mix of both vintage and new. An original vintage Cassina armchair mod 849, designed by Gianfranco Frattini, reupholstered in Pierred Frey

Bridget sits elegantly facing a bespoke modern couch upholstered with De Le Cuona Cobbles linen fabric, adorned with Oyuna cashmere pillows and throw.

Two marble top tables from De Padova round up the Living Room and ambient lighting is provided by a wall light from De Padova.

The apartment offers 3 full bathrooms, two en-suite and one guest. Each bathroom offers subtle differences, but all have a common, modern, elegant and luxuries theme. The bathrooms are a warm sumptuous sanctuary during the winter months. The colours and tones bode beautifully with the chalet.

The marble and vanity units are from Salvatori, the Master marble in Silk Georgette and the remaining two in Gris du Marais. The tapware from Cea Design showcases the meticulous attention to design detail.

The shower areas are enclosed using bespoke designs from Vismara Vetro. The three bedrooms still retain the chalet theme, aged wood

floors and joinery are paired with modern but warm textures and finishes.

The main bedrooms offer bespoke beds with storage, finished off with elegant headboards covered in De La Cuona velvet. The curtains from Pierre Frey Apolline Crème are both contemporary and sophisticated.

The lighting is ambient and elegant from CTO, finished off in bronze. The guest bedroom shares its use as an office. It offers a bespoke wardrobe with an integrated pulldown bed.

The joinery is upholstered with Johnston of Elgin lambswool cloth Teviot, which matches the walls. Under the window rests a bespoke desk, made form aged wood and the window is dressed in Roman Blinds using De Le Cuona Seahorse fabric.

Alessia’s inspiration was to integrate the charm and warmth of a Swiss chalet with that of Italian style and luxury. Walking into the apartment, one can feel that marriage between the quaint and the modern, the synergies work so well together, creating a warmth ambiance.

CLASSIC BAROQUE STYLE FOR AN EMOTIONALLY EVOCATIVE INTERIOR

A completely renovated historic luxury villa from the early 1900s on the shores of Lake Como, serves as the ideal setting for a furnishing experience crafted by Angelo Cappellini.

Located in the heart of Brianza, the company is Internationally recognized in the classical and contemporary design sector, and executes ambitious turnkey projects reflecting clients’ distinct personalities.

This interior project is an harmonious conversation between indoor and outdoor spaces, natural environment and furnishing design which creates a unique and evocative atmosphere.

Each element by Angelo Cappellini is a manifestation of utmost

precision, elegant beauty, and timeless sophistication.

The company’s collections adorn one of the five apartments into which the villa was divided during the renovation, preserving the original architectural structure.

A classic and Baroque style pervades the space with the first floor dedicated to the living area and the upper floor reserved for the sleeping area, totaling 250 square meters.

This distinction is highlighted and reflected in the nuances and colors of the furniture and finishes.

In the living area, the living room and dining room are enriched with various elements from the Canaletto collection, including a table, dining chairs, and furniture

accessories to create a complete area.

To level up each element to precious uniqueness, rich details, such as white finish characterized by touches of patinated gold leaf, illuminate the deeper tones of the fabrics and velvets of the seats.

The chairs and head-of-table seats in the collection shine with unparalleled sophistication and proudly recall the Baroque style thanks to the exclusive shell-shaped carvings that skillfully adorn the front and the crest.

The sideboards and display cabinets, with their sinuous and curvilinear shapes, are available in three different models: two-door, corner, and single-door, all enriched with intricate hand-carved details.

The dining table top features a polished finish contrasting with the base and choosing woods, according the designer’s directions, that coordinate with the antique pink (the client’s color choice) of the furnishings and curtains.

In the living area, there is a fully upholstered sofa perfectly in tune with the Baroque-style armchairs, modified in the upholstery and simplified in the upper part of the backrest to create aesthetic and stylistic harmony with the sofa.

The elegant and comfortable design of these furnishing elements contributes to a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.

Moreover, a serving trolley, a small table with a luxurious Calacatta Gold marble top, and a TV stand offer the right combination of practicality, luxury, and design.

The sleeping area has a different ambiance, featuring shades of blue that connect with the outdoors and reflect the crystal-clear waters of the lake visible from the balcony.

The fresh tones of the wallpaper and the slightly antiqued silver finish of the furniture elements all contribute to a refined atmosphere.

The Wagner collection stands out in the bedrooms thanks to details creating an extremely refined and luxurious environment.

The Wagner bed is a timeless classic, adaptable to any project with variations in size and headboard composition, including bed frame or footboard options, and available in numerous finishes and fabrics.

The carved crest of the Louis XV Wagner bed features a pattern of sinuous and geometric lines that blend perfectly together, enhanced

by a gold leaf finish that adds an extra touch of light.

The Wagner collection embodies elegance and personality, showcasing the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail of Angelo Cappellini’s master artisans, where each piece is imbued with history and culture.

Completing the bedroom furnishings are a chaise lounge and a triple mirror from the collection, while custom-made wardrobes, dressers, and TV cabinets make each piece unique and perfectly integrated into the design.

Angelo Cappellini’s collections are distinguished by their design and production versatility, capable of personalizing every residential and contract space with a distinctive classic identity.

Seek and ye shall find...

The first Battle of Bannockburn Chess Set was sold in 1996 to Walt Disneyworld, for the British Pavilion in the Epcot Centre, Florida. Since then, we have sent Bruce, Edward and their armies off to every continent - except Antarctica! The Battle of Bannockburn Chess sets are gracing homes in USA, Canada, Australia, Africa, China, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Denmark, England, Wales and Ireland – and, of course, Scotland.

The Robert Burns Chess Set is the only one of its kind in the world and traces the heart and mind of one of the greatest wordsmiths the world has ever known, and whose time on this earth is celebrated every January –and all year round, if truth be told – in every corner of the Globe.

Whether to play; as a gift; or simply to admire, these two, luxury limitededition Chess Sets will grace any home, as a focus for today and an heirloom for future generations. Cast in solid pewter, each stunning chess sets have one exception that makes it different from most other sets in the world, in that every one of the 32 pieces in each set is different, each piece telling its own tale - from loss to triumph on the field of battle; and from love to despair (and back again) –in the mind and heart of one man.

From the drama, passion and sacrifice for King and Country - to a different kind of love and passion - these are the roads you will travel as you move these majestic pieces across the equally majestic chessboards. Each board is metal-edged and inlaid with beautifully crafted pewter playing squares. For Bannockburn, they portray the emblems of the two nations - Thistle and Rose. For the Robert Burns chess board, each white square carries a different quotation from one of Burns’ most noted songs or poems, in the style of the Poet’s handwriting.

Only in those rarest of moments will you find a chess set with all 32 pieces different. And you may never see a chess set with pieces as exquisitely designed and crafted in solid pewter. Whatever you seek in life and whatever you may find on your journey, there will be few conclusions that bring as much pleasure and satisfaction as owning one of these remarkable sets - not just for the moment, but for generations to come. Your Team at Stirling 1314 can deliver a true piece of history to adorn your home - and as a legacy for tomorrow.

THE ALLURE OF MAKEUP

The first book dedicated to Chanel makeup, published to celebrate the House’s inspiring story of makeup creation which began in 1924.

In 1924 Gabrielle Chanel launched the House’s first makeup products, marking the beginning of a century of creativity, excellence and innovation.

Written by eminent journalist and author Natasha A Fraser, Chanel. The Allure of Makeup presents a wealth of visual material – with unprecedented access to the Chanel archives – from historic images of Gabrielle Chanel and seldom-seen early product shots, to cinematic campaigns starring legendary women.

In the book’s introduction, Fraser writes: ‘Defying the rules of tradition and the need to please others, Chanel revolutionized the twentieth-century wardrobe, imposed a new vision of jewelry, transformed the world of beauty and introduced a modern attitude that filtered through to all areas of her life.’

This fascinating story unfolds in seven chapters that represent the quintessential colours of Chanel’s visual vocabulary: Black, White, Beige, Red, Pink, Gold and Blue. Each chapter highlights the talents driving the brand’s lasting impact across the decades. Iconic products such as the black and white compact or Rouge Allure lipstick in timeless red punctuate the chapters and claim their rightful place in the pantheon of beauty.

Fraser explores how Gabrielle Chanel famously pushed women to go for it, decades before anyone else:

TAILOR-MADE OPTIONS FOR THE HÔTEL BARRIÈRE LE MAJESTIC’S VIP GUESTS

“The Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic in Cannes offers eight exclusive Signature Suites, combining French elegance with personalized decor.

These are complemented by tailor-made services, including VIP transfers, express check-ins, and dedicated teams ensuring every guest’s comfort and unique experience.”

For several years now, this palace-hotel at 10, La Croisette in Cannes has focused on the truly exceptional by increasing the array of spectacular suites available to guests as part of its Signature Collection.

There are noweight of these in total, each featuring their ownpersonalised look, either inspired by a particular celebrityor inviting guests to embark upon a journey around the Mediterranean through their decor.

Over the past few weeks, these remarkable suites have also been complemented by a range of exclusive, tailor-made Signature Services.

“Signature” is the name that the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestichas given to its collection of eight exceptional suites, all of which are focused on two key values.

Firstly, the French-style elegance that is behind the prestige of this property situated on the Croisette that is now approaching its centenary. And secondly, a true sense of space available to its guests, as showcased by the 650m² of the Majestic penthouse and terrace.

Perched on the seventh/top floor of this Art Decobuilding, this suite features its very own infinity pool providing guests with a delightfully scenic vantage-point fromwhich to admire the steps of the Palais des Festivals and the backdrop of the bay of Cannes.

As well as the features they all have in common, the hotel’sSignature Suites each boast their own individualcharacteristics and differences to give them their own clearidentity.

For example, the Christian Dior and Michèle Morgan suites take their inspiration directly from the two

celebritiesthat have lent them their names.

The life and work of the French couturier Christian Dior is showcased via a thousandand one decorative details: the rotunda that brings to mind the ceiling of his historic boutique on the Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the iconic grey and silver medallion chairs, the red Dior cushions, and the canework headboards.

Meanwhile, the memory of Michèle Morgan, the unforgettablestar of the movie “Quai des Brumes” (Port of Shadows) ismagnificently revived through personal photographs and mementoes, unique cushions (the design of which has been personalised with her hypnotic eyes, considered the mostbeautiful in French cinema), and the tapestries and carpetdirectly inspired by the Cannes Film Festival which awardedMichèle Morgan the best Actress prize in 1946.

“Haute-couture” service.

These unique Signature Suites are also characterised by the quality of their services, enabling their occupants to enjoy an array of exclusive options.

This was already the case in the past, with each suite boasting its own butler who wouldconstantly keep a watchful eye to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of guests. “Our dayto-day work is full of contrasts”, the head of Butler Services explains.

“We are of course able to offer small services such as providing a cellphone charger or a pack of aspirin as well as focusing on the truly extraordinary, such as organising a romanticmarriage proposal or transforming a suite into a hauntedhouse for a Halloween party”.

However, for several weeksnow, Le Majestic has been able to further enhance the level of service available in its suites by offering its high-end guests a “tailor-made” experience.

These “tailor-made” Signature

Services include twenty or sobenefits for the hotel’s Signature Suite guests – personalisedattention that its high-end clients will enjoy as soon as theyarrive on the French Riviera.

They will be personallywelcomed away from the madding crowds by Le Majesticstaff as soon as they step out of their private jet or helicopter, then transferred by limousine directly to the Croisette. If they arrive by private vehicle, complimentary parking is made available to them, whenever possible, directly in front of the hotel.

Once they arrive at Le Majestic, they will be taken care of personally by a dedicated team of professional staff who willensure their wellbeing throughout their stay.

This starts withexpress check-in inside their suite to avoid the need to visit the reception desk.

This team will also monitor their safety and security, managing the incredible experiences that our VIPs are likely to require within the walls of the hotel, such as birthdays,

anniversaries, marriage proposals, honeymoons etc. The team will also take care of any leisure activities that the hotel’s VIP guests many need, suggest and arrange new experiences as requested, or book tickets or tables at the region’s most prestigious events and finest restaurants.

The occupants of the Majestic Penthouse will even have a dedicated chef on hand to conjure up an array of personalisedgourmet dishes for them.

Numerous exclusive bonuses are part and parcel of this fullypersonalised experience: welcome gifts; beauty products fromthe spa placed in the suite; a significantly upgraded mini-bar; baby’s accessories for young mums; and, for guests with a taste for the cuisine of the Middle and Far East, a delicioussupper followed, perhaps, by a chicha pipe – the latter a simple detail but the type of tiny service that makes a stay atLe Majestic truly unforgettable!

A team of architects, led by Paul Seeber and Wolfgang Meraner and interior architect Gerhard Tauber are responsible for the aesthetic, exterior and interior concept and design of My Arbor.

The structure they have created gives the impression of tree trunks on which the rooms are arranged, with views of the treetops visible from the suites. Design-wise, the hotel is painted in one colour - an earth tone to evoke a tree house aesthetic.

Guests are continuously reminded of this aesthetic with floor-to-ceiling tree trunks and warming fireplaces located throughout the property as well as generous glass fronts that allow an unobstructed view of the valley.

BRAND NEW 50M COLUMBUS HYBRID ANJELIF NOW FOR CHARTER WITH FRASER

Custom Hybrid 50M M/Y ANJELIF, premiering at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, is now available for charter with Fraser.

ANJELIF is an example of the Shipyard’s excellence in the construction of tailor-made projects that reflect the customer at 360 degrees.

This hybrid construction reflects the significant experience gained by Columbus Yachts through the

Sport Hybrid 40m projects, the first superyacht model ever to be RINA classified with the “Hybrid Propulsion Y” notation.

Built entirely of aluminium, M/Y ANJELIF has a muscular and sleek exterior line combined with sophisticated interiors distinguished by a refined and personal style.

Meticulous attention to every single detail was paid to faithfully

marry the internal and external architecture.

A yacht with a bold and elegant line, M/Y ANJELIF was custom-built for the vision of an enlightened Owner, Maria Francesca Angelini, who wanted it packed with technological innovations, from the hybrid propulsion, diesel/ electric, to the definition of the interior design with a refined and sophisticated stylistic imprint

As requested by the Owner, this superyacht is fitted with two distinct and highly innovative technological devices: one using cold plasma for the sanitation of the air coming from the outside and used for both ventilation and air conditioning; the other one is dedicated to the sanitation of the environments and performs at predefined time intervals to ensure daily safety.

The first one suppresses bacteria and viruses in the atmospheric air entering indoor space, while the second one automates the sanitation of every internal room of the vessel.

This sophisticated airspace sanitation system was created thanks to the support of the Owner Project Engineer, Giuseppe Sole.

With him, the Owner developed also an air conditioning flow system that is imperceptible except through the extreme comfort that the internal climate of this yacht provides.

The entire design is the result of the evolutionary and creative vision of the Owner who received the support of Architect Marco Casali of Too-Design for the creation of the exteriors. The naval engineering was provided by the shipyard in

collaboration with Hydro Tech.

The interior design was planned and executed with natural and ecological materials.

Of great value is the use of precious Taurini stones of different cuts and colours, selected by the Owner to guarantee fresh and energetically clean air spaces.

Starting from the transom, we find a cocoon-style relaxation corner by the beach area which, combined with the exceptionally comfortable central transformer and the folddown lateral platform on the starboard side, turns this zone into a proper beach club.

The main deck features a scenic swimming pool, set between comfortable sunbathing seats on the transom with exposed teak finish, fitted with counter-current swimming and heating systems.

The area is completed by an elegant bar crafted with a bleached oak finish and details in crystal and polished steel for the part that houses the seats.

Entering the spacious lounge on the main deck, you are immediately taken aback by the magnificent floor-to-ceiling view offered by all the windows that surround the large and lavish sofa, entirely conceived and designed by the Owner, consisting of four sections arranged to create two large semicircles; thanks to a sophisticated mechanical movement, the two sections

towards the bow, below the large TV, can rotate on electric micro rails, ensuring an effective and innovative layout of the main salon, as well as allowing for a comfortable view of the screen.

The upholstery, of fine weave and in champagne colour, is by Armani.

Moving towards the bow, you enter the Owner’s quarters which include a massage room, the Owner’s office with a screen, a Technogymequipped gym, a large L-shaped wardrobe functionally sectioned to accommodate every type of garment and accessory, a big central bed with an elegant work-andvanity desk combo.

The ensuite bathroom boasts a double sink in yellow quartz, a big window-edge jacuzzi, a large mosaic shower/hammam and a separate suite for the infrared sauna.

Another peculiarity of the Owner’s suite is the large, fixed balcony posing as a lookout for breathtaking views and as a relaxation retreat in total privacy.

All the interiors are rich in natural oak wood with different nuances and finishes, interspersed with details in canaletto walnut, white lacquered wood with matt rose gold metal connectors.

The boiseries are entirely made of oak with a tubular floor-to-ceiling design, interspersed with wall sections made of backlit natural precious stones (by Taurini). All this lends a unique touch and visual relaxation to the surroundings, thanks also to the thoughtful and fascinating multi-sector lighting system of the interiors created in each suite, dimmable for guests’ greater comfort.

The large, fully equipped professional kitchen is located to the left of the main deck and a dumbwaiter lift connects it to the other decks.

Below deck, the guest area boasts four suites for a total of eleven beds.

All guest suites feature a large rectangular window offering magnificent views both during navigation and at anchor.

All four suites are chromatically furnished in keeping with the precious stone sinks of their respective ensuite bathrooms.

Two of these suites are equipped with an innovative 2-in-1 system devised to transform two single beds into a double one.

The other two suites were designed to play a dual purpose: as a single large VIP bedroom and office suite, or as two separate areas partitioned by a central sliding door.

At the stern of the upper deck is a large sunpad together with a big custom round outdoor table in natural teak seating up to 10 people.

A large French bi-folding window allows to access indoor of the second deck disclosing the amazing dining room dominated by an oval

10-seater table with very precious oyster shell top (Taurini Jungle) and canaletto walnut inserts.

The magnificent table, also designed and wanted by the Owner, has been totally custom-made in order to be disassembled and leave room to two round tables, effectively transforming this dining room into an elegant game room.

On the second deck is the impressive helm station, entirely leather-upholstered, successfully marrying elegance with technology. Next to it is the comfortable and refined Captain’s suite as well as a large and functional service pantry.

At the bow, a multifunctional area has been created with large sun beds and a platform structurally sized for helicopter landing and take-off (touch and go, not available for use on charter) organized and equipped with everything needed to be transformed into a fantastic open-air cinema.

Once on the sun deck, guests are struck by as sizeable and elegant layout that includes: two large sun loungers with adjustable backrest, a custom 8-seater round table made of teak, a large bar with bleached oak slats and a large C-shaped sofa in ivory-coloured Rubelli fabric.

At the far bow is the large custom jacuzzi framed by large sun pads and seats.

The 11 crew are accommodated in 7 suites, with additional space for other possible beds.

Columbus Custom Hybrid 50m has a gross tonnage of 499 GT and can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots, with a range of 3200 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The yacht is powered by 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines of 1,939 kW each, plus two Kohler electric generators of 175 kW.

M/Y ANJELIF is equipped with a hybrid system developed with Siemens and certified by RINA Classification Society. This hybrid system operates in three distinct modes:

- DIESEL MODE. In this configuration, the yacht operates in a conventional mode with the propulsion engines providing navigation, while the generators feed the electrical utilities on board

- ELECTRIC MODE. The main engines are turned off while the generators provide, in addition to the electrical load necessary for the on-board utilities, the power for the two electric motors of 100 kW each, connected directly to the gearboxes, which allow the yacht to navigate at a reduced and extremely comfortable speed of about 8 knots, impossible for the main propulsion engines but ideal for night-time cruising, as it guarantees the same noise levels and comfort of a sailing boat.

- SHAFT GENERATOR MODE. The main propulsion engines transmit part of their torque to the electric motors, allowing them to supply electrical energy. In this mode, the onboard generators can both be turned off with great advantages in terms of their maintenance and energy efficiency.

A pack of latest-generation batteries dedicated to the system will compensate for any blackout in transients, both in Diesel mode and in Shaft generator mode, allowing the system to switch onto the available source of electricity, whether provided by the diesel generators or the electric motors.

Therefore, the Hybrid system offers significant added value both in

terms of propulsion and electricity generation, as it can count on:

- N.2 MTU 16V 2000 M96L of 1939 kW each

- N.2 Electric motors of 100 kW each

- N.2 Generators of 175 kW

- N.2 Shaft generators of 100 kW each

This superyacht also boasts a Green Certificate for its Hybrid Propulsion as well as for its obtained maximum reduction of emissions at sea.

A BLEND OF ELEGANT LINES, CRAFTSMANSHIP, AND A CUSTOM MODERN INTERIOR

LENGTH OVERALL: 69’5”- 21 mt

LENGTH HULL: 67’ - 20,4 mt

LENGTH WATERLINE: 57’5”17,4 mt (load 25%)

BEAM: 18’0” - 5,5 mt

DRAFT: 4’9”- 1,2 mt (load 25%)

From exquisite lines to perfectly turned carpentry and virtually unsurpassed levels of finish, one thing is for sure – few shipyards in the world can match the artisanal skill and craftsmanship of Vicem Yachts.

Since 1991, they have been creating stunning motor yachts that blend timeless elegance with contemporary performance, using traditional composite construction techniques enhanced by advanced cold-molding method.

More recently, they have applied their skills to the art of fiberglass

(GRP), translating their models into optional GRP versions for those who prefer an alternative to wood.

This extraordinary heritage is captured perfectly in the new Vicem 65 Classic – a series that draws on the classic Vicem lines which made the brand famous and recognized around the world, but which blends that tradition with subtle contemporary design cues and modern interiors thanks to edgy finishes and sophisticated use of lighting.

“The new Vicem 65 Classic is another incredible yacht in our lineup, combining the skills we have developed over three decades of building world-class yachts with upto-date materials and finishes both for the hull and for the interiors,” says Noelle Semmes, Vicem Yachts’ director of sales.

“What’s more, owners can customize their Vicem 65 Classic to their own exacting needs and tastes – it’s something that we don’t just do as an exception but as standard, and it’s extremely rare at this size point.

For instance, clients can choose features like an atrium galley, a galley up, or even aft and open to the cockpit. Cabin configurations can include full-beam masters, twin masters, or bunk rooms with hidden pullmans. It means a Vicem truly is a masterpiece, and each masterpiece 65 Classic is truly unique.”

This custom version of the Vicem 65 Classic, recently delivered to an American owner, offers acres of space both inside and out, with the expansive single-pane side glazing not only flooding the

interior with light but also offering uninterrupted views out for owner and guests.

The aft saloon area, which links to the cockpit aft and the galley and helm amidships, features an L-shaped sofa and table which, on the first hull, can convert into a fourth double berth for when guests understandably decide they would like to extend their stay on board.

A pop-up television in the low portside cabinet brings entertainment and a cinema feel to this relaxed and informal space.

At the forward end of the saloon lies the transverse galley, which sits opposite the helm – an open and sociable layout that ensures owner and guests can continue their conversations when it comes time for navigation or food preparation.

The galley itself is perfectly equipped with all mod cons, including four-plate cooktop with microwave underneath, extractor, dishwasher, ice-maker and fridge, and with a wine cooler cunningly located nearby in the cabinet beneath the helm banquette.

The finish is warm yet contemporary, with teak used for the sole but with a central, foreaft wood feature in the deckhead which adds drama to the design.

Oak and a pale palette – which includes gloss surfaces for reflection – delivers a stylish and up-to-date feel.

A pantograph door either side gives easy access to the side decks for maneuvering and to the foredeck area for relaxing.

Forward of the helm and galley, steps lead down to the accommodation deck.

The first thing that greets you is a lower saloon, which not only provides a second hideaway if, for example, two generations of a family on board want to split, but

which also adds to the open feel of the yacht’s interior. Further forward again, the VIP cabin with ensuite offers generous luxury to guests, and there’s a second ensuite guest cabin with twin beds that convert to a double, plus a Pullman-style third bunk.

Taking pride of place amidships and benefitting from the full 5.5-metre beam of the yacht is the sumptuous master cabin. Here, the bed has been positioned transversally on the starboard side, with a full vanity unit-cum-desk to port.

The ensuite runs transverse at the aft end of the cabin, with an open double sink area in the middle with the generous shower to starboard and separate head to port, and with extensive use of marble offering a true luxe feel.

The ensuite layout not only adds a contemporary loft apartment feel but also serves as a buffer further insulating the suite from engine room machinery noise.

On deck, the 65 Classic belies her 21-metre overall length with an inviting cockpit that delivers L-shaped settee seating with a

custom cockpit table featuring a high-low control leg so the table can be conveniently set for dining, coffee or cocktails, and there is also a sink, fridge and grill for true outdoor living.

Forward, the foredeck boasts a yawn of sunpads, four abreast, ensuring that those looking for some rays – or just a spot to recline in a cool breeze at anchor – are perfectly catered to.

These stunning interiors and deck spaces are wrapped in a hull and superstructure design that harks to a golden age of gentleman’s commuters, with the graceful sheer running from high bow to low stern taking in complex compound curves in the hull along the way.

The result is a graceful and timeless profile that while recalling the past is not stuck in it – the purposeful stance screams performance and poise in equal measure.

Underpinning those elegant lines, seaworthy hull and expert finishing is a technical platform that has received numerous mechanical and technical upgrades.

The beating heart of the first new 65 Classic is a twin-MAN engine configuration, with each unit putting out 1,400hp.

The sensuously rounded transom holds a tender garage, while gear, fittings and deck hardware are all of the highest quality.

There’s also a crew cabin aft of the engine room complete with crew head – a highly unusual feature in any case on a yacht of this size, but even more so given the cabin’s layout and specifications.

“This latest addition to our classic range really demonstrates both what we can do and what we can offer, even at 21 metres,” says Noelle Semmes.

“The first 65 Classic we have just delivered is the epitome of what draws owners from all over the world to Vicem. Indeed,” s/he concludes, “there are already two more 65 Classics currently under construction, each with a custom interior that makes them unique –just like all other Vicems!

ALIA YACHTS UNVEILS BESPOKE LUXURY - SURERYACHT SAN

- Unique interior layout

- Innovative custom engineering

- Stunning design by SinXot realized by Alia’s in-house interiors Atelier

- Full-height surround glazing on main deck

- Versatile open-air deck spaces

- Fore-to-aft sightlines

Designed inside and out by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects, 45-metre SAN represents a highly innovative feat of bespoke engineering and design by maintaining a sleek profile and constant visual contact with the sea while enhancing interior living spaces and onboard comfort.

SAN features an expansive main deck aft with shaded sofa seating and terraced steps leading down to sunpads and folding bulwarks to expand the beach club area in the stern.

The exterior deck furniture is multifunctional and can be adapted for al fresco dining, cocktail settings or sunbathing.

The hi-lo teak dining table, for example, can be used as a coffee table or raised and extended for

proper dining. On the foredeck is another large sunpad and accompanying table, which can also be lowered and covered with fill-in

cushions to further increase the lounging space. Hidden away under the foredeck is a tender garage and dedicated crane.

SAN’s streamlined, coupé-style exterior lines were the starting point for the designers.

The client wanted the profile to appear as low in the water as possible, but once on board it had to feel like a superyacht, not a speedboat.

The raised pilothouse configuration makes the most efficient use of available space, but even the wheelhouse has been pared down to occupy the least volume possible while still remaining functional. Inside, it resembles an airplane cockpit.

“The main challenge on a yacht of this size and volume is that every square centimetre had to be optimized,” says Paul Costerus, Sinot’s Senior Yacht Designer and Project Manager. “While developing the layout we had to push the boundaries everywhere while taking care that you could still move around the boat comfortably, so the ergonomics were important too.”

SAN’s remarkable design becomes fully apparent on stepping across the flush threshold into the main deck saloon.

This open-plan space is completely surrounded by sole-to-ceiling glazing with very narrow mullions for truly panoramic views outboard with cut-outs in the bulwarks so the sea is never out of sight even when seated.

The bulwarks are intentionally high to create the impression of a lower superstructure.

Keeping the profile low and sleek meant lowering a portion of the ceiling in the main saloon below to provide sufficient standing room in the pilothouse.

This has been cleverly compensated by having the main seating and dining area in a cosy, Japanese-style recess in the floor.

Despite these design challenges, the ceiling height in the main saloon is 2.3 metres, which would be considered generous on a much larger yacht.

“The striking, open and pure design of the yacht with an uncompromising functionality

has demanded innovative and complex engineering.” says Alia President, Gökhan Çelik. “Having a main deck structure with no walls wrapped in sole to ceiling glass with minimal mullions and establishing all functions in the lower deck within the main hull, required very intricate as well as delicate design and building skills.

But that’s what we do as fullcustom yacht builders.”

The interior design is sober and simple yet sophisticated and completely consistent with the exterior styling. In fact, based on teak, stained oak, eucalyptus and tan leather, just 15 premium materials have been used throughout the yacht.

Despite the minimalist design language, however, the overall ambience is welcoming and understated detailing abounds in the intricate ‘butterfly’ joints in the woodwork, saddle-stitched leather and polished stainless-steel accents.

Apart from a few pieces of free-standing furniture, all the fitted furniture is by Alia Interiors Atelier.

“A key point was the strong communication with client,” says Davide Siggia, Senior Interior Designer & Project Manager at Sinot.

“Remarkably, this is his first yacht, but he had a very clear vision of what he wanted and the design of SAN is the result of long and in-depth conversations with her future owner regarding the desired layouts, functionality and style.”

The same refined palette of materials and finishes continues in the guest suites on the lower deck, which is accessed via a spiral staircase behind the bar in the main saloon.

The staircase opens onto a lobby with a dayhead and a small pantry accessible from the crew staircase where guests can help themselves to hot and cold drinks.

The master stateroom is forward beyond a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom.

A full-length mirror cam slide out of the bulkhead at the entrance to the sleeping area when needed.

A similar solution is found in the bathrooms where the mirrors can be slid aside to expose the hull windows.

Taking advantage of the bow shape, the bed is flanked by cushioned bench seating and long windows of compound-curved glass for plenty of natural light.

Practical yet chic details include stainless steel fiddles for the shelving to prevent objects sliding around, and removeable, stainless steel tubes for resting shoes on in the wardrobe closets.

There are four guest suites, each discreetly personalised in different shades. One cabin has twin beds that can also be seamlessly joined together to create a double bed.

The golden beige Luget limestone in the bathrooms was quarried in France and personally chosen by the owner.

A service door at the end of the guest accommodation corridor leads into the crew quarters, comprising three cabins (one with shared bathroom) and captain’s cabin for a total of 7 crew, pro-spec galley, crew dinette and laundry.

The crew area is compact but well-appointed and comfortable.

There is also direct access to the engine room housing four Volvo Penta engines of 700hp each for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.

“By delivering such a superior project based on innovative engineering and eye-catching design, SAN further strengthens Alia’s status as one of the top custom yacht builders in the world,” concludes Gökhan Çelik.

Falcon Tenders is the apex builder of high performance superyacht tenders. It produces custom limousines and open crewed launches for the discerning yacht owner.

GUCCI CELEBRATES THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE WITH NI NI AND XIAO ZHAN

Creative Director: Sabato De Sarno

Talent: Ni Ni, Xiao Zhan

The House celebrates the Year of the Snake with a new campaign featuring Global Brand Ambassadors Ni Ni and Xiao Zhan, paying tribute to family, tradition, and the symbolic renewal of the Year of the Snake.

Through festive rituals, loved ones are drawn closer, where the warmth of tradition and the joy of togetherness create enduring connections, year after year.

Reflecting on the campaign, Ni Ni shared: “The Year of Snake is just approaching, and the serpent is a deep-rooted motif of Gucci. The selection is adorable, combining the elegant shape of serpent with agility. The story of reunion in the campaign which I am featured in another time conveys festive wishes as warm and memorable.”

Xiao Zhan echoed this sentiment adding: “Gucci 2025 Year of the Snake selection incorporates exquisite craftsmanship and creative details. In the unique aesthetics, it shows festive spirits in a modern way.

To mark the occasion, Gucci unveils a curated selection of pieces inspired by the sinuous elegance of the serpent, a motif deeply rooted in the House’s heritage.

Representing transformation, renewal, and timeless allure, the snake is seamlessly woven into the selection as a core motif, merging archival House codes with modern creativity. The snake’s fluid movements are elegantly incorporated across the selection, appearing in two bold color combinations: Gucci Rosso Ancora with pink and Gucci Rosso Ancora with blue.

These sophisticated palettes enhance the designs while celebrating the festive spirit.

The serpent glides through the intricate threads of silk Flora scarves, harmoniously complementing the archival pattern, nestled within the blooming scenes.

The serpent’s entrancing curves also intertwine with the distinctive GG Monogram on accessories and ready to wear ensembles, further enriching the selection’s elegance and adding an air of mystique and wonder to the signature House emblems.

Highlights from the selection include the Horsebit 1953 loafers and the Signoria slingback pumps, reimagined in Gucci Rosso Ancora patent leather with a snakedetailed insole and the Gucci

Re-Web sneakers, crafted in beige and ebony Original GG canvas with snake details. Adding to the allure is the Gucci Blondie bag, presented in Gucci Rosso Ancora red patent leather and adorned with an enamel round Interlocking G detail.

Presented in rich, festive hues, the selection offers meaningful gifts for loved ones or timeless keepsakes to celebrate the season’s most memorable moments.

“A Legendary Journey to the Top“

Louis Vuitton reveals second chapter of the Core Values campaign with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

LOUIS VUITTON - A LEGENDARY JOURNEY TO THE TOP

Louis Vuitton is pleased to reveal a second visual in its storied Core Values campaign featuring Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Captured through the lens of celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz, tennis’s most revered champions now reach the summit of Italy’s Dolomites mountain range.

Embodied in the tagline “A Legendary Journey to the Top,“ the campaign captures both athletes on a journey of ambition, determination, and discovery. 3,000m high, far from the familiarity of the court, Nadal and Federer are seen not as competitors but as companions reclining on the mountain peak — a visual metaphor

for arriving at the pinnacle of their long sporting careers which have been marked by deep mutual respect and friendship, forever overcoming the obstacles set before them.

Federer brought his recordsetting 20 Grand Slam titles and unparalleled elegance to every court he graced while Nadal’s 22 Grand Slams, among those 14 French Open wins, were each demonstrations of peak athleticism and skill.

Together, these athletes represent parallel odysseys from youthful prodigies to global icons whose impact has inspired countless individuals across generations.

“Many important icons have been part of this campaign and being part of it is something that makes me very happy.

Sharing it with Roger makes it special since he has been my biggest rival and now a close friend today.

In my career, I achieved more than I ever dreamt of, so at the end of the day, the legacy in terms of human beings is the most important value,” explains Rafael Nadal.

“It’s a unique opportunity to be working on this campaign with Rafa. To think we were such rivals, and now, as our tennis careers come to a close, we’re working together on something like this—it’s been an incredible journey.

Being at the top of the Dolomites, feels symbolic in many ways. It really captures what this moment means to us— something truly special and meaningful.” says Roger Federer.

Against nature’s grand canvas, Leibovitz’s shot showcases the pair sharing a moment of reflection above the clouds; Federer with his classic Monogram Christopher backpack, a symbol of timeless style akin to his own legacy in sport, and Nadal with his Monogram Eclipse version representing his dynamic strength and tenacity.

Together, they echo the values that resonate through every Louis Vuitton design and every Core Values campaign: a journey beyond the physical, a commitment to

excellence, and a transmission of dreams. “It has been 17 years since I launched the first Core Values campaign with Antoine Arnault, and I am delighted to revive this iconic series.

Each Core Values chapter celebrates Louis Vuitton’s legacy of travel, of working with exceptional people, and of transmission –both physical and emotional.

It has been brilliant to work with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on this new story – both inspirational athletes, trusted friends, and testaments to the discipline and excellence of their own personal sporting journeys,“ says Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton.

This latest campaign is more than a portrayal of two men against an alpine vista; it is an homage to the values of the Maison, embodied by champions who carry their stories like they do their rackets—in style, elegance and humility.

Reclining in the snow with a view on the valleys below, a sense of fulfilment evident and their trusted Louis Vuitton companions in toe, Federer and Nadal illustrate how each personal journey can reach legendary heights when pursued with determination and pioneering spirit.

100 YEARS OF PASSION, PRECISION AND TIMELESS ELEGANCE.

DISCOVER A WORLD OF LUXURY TIMEPIECES THIS CHRISTMAS.

Limited to just 50 pieces, the DEFY Extreme Jungle marks the third and final installment in ZENITH’s series of 1/100th of a second chronographs, inspired by extreme environments. Following the Desert and Glacier editions, this version draws inspiration from the untamed energy and captivating mystery of the jungle.

VENTURE INTO THE WILD WITH THE DEFY EXTREME JUNGLE

Continuing in the rugged spirit of the DEFY Extreme line, ZENITH once again looks to wild, uncharted terrains for inspiration.

Designed to withstand the harshest conditions—whether deep in the wilderness or the “concrete jungle” — the DEFY Extreme Jungle concludes a series of three evocative special editions featuring natural stones incorporated into the most robust 1/100th of a second chronograph ever made.

The incorporation of such exotic gemstones into the complex case’s

structure showcases a unique blend of creativity and technical mastery, adding a distinct flair while adhering to high-performance standards.

Crafted from brushed titanium, the light yet sturdy 45mm case of the DEFY Extreme Jungle features a dodecagonal bezel and pusher protectors made from Tiger’s Eye.

With its striking golden to brown hues, shifting reflections and a silky sheen, Tiger’s Eye belongs to the quartz family and has long been used in jewelry and ornamentation.

Each watch is unique due to the natural variations in this rare stone. Its colour striations naturally evoke the enigmatic beauty of the tiger, a symbol of strength and mystique.

Engineered for high performance, the case offers water resistance up to 20 ATM, making it suitable for the most extreme conditions.

The open sapphire dial reveals the intricate workings of the watch. Further evoking the jungle theme, it is tinted in green while the tigercolored applied counters subtly mimic tiger stripes.

These are complemented by beige luminescent markers and hands, ensuring optimal legibility in all conditions.

At the heart of the DEFY Extreme Jungle beats the automatic El Primero 9004 caliber.

Partially visible through the dial and fully exposed via the exhibition case back, this high-frequency chronograph is an innovative evolution of ZENITH’s legendary movement.

It remains the world’s fastest automatic chronograph in production, allowing for 1/100th of a second precision.

This is achieved through two independent mechanisms, each with its own power source and regulating organ: one beating at 5Hz (36,000 vph) for timekeeping, and the other at 50Hz (360,000 vph) for the chronograph.

Taking advantage of the incredible speed of the latter, the chronograph seconds hand makes a full rotation every second, offering outstanding legibility of the 1/100th of a second display.

This innovative movement showcases jungle-inspired finishing touches, with a khaki green main plate and a satin-brushed oscillating weight in the same hue.

The DEFY Extreme also features a practical interchangeable strap system, easily operated via push buttons on the back of the case.

To enhance versatility, the Jungle Edition comes with three straps: a titanium bracelet, a khaki green embossed rubber strap with a titanium folding buckle, and a black Velcro strap.

Limited to 50 pieces, the DEFY Extreme Jungle is available at ZENITH boutiques, online, and through authorized retailers worldwide.

From polar expeditions to highaltitude climbs without oxygen support, his extraordinary adventures and resilience mirror Panerai’s values, as the Maison continues to craft reliable precision instruments that accompany Horn on his quests to go beyond limits.

“The Submersible GMT Titanio Mike Horn Experience Edition, a watchmaking feat for its innovative materials and unwavering technical reliability, will grant exclusive access to a fortunate few to join Mike Horn on an unforgettable Panerai experience to Bhutan, one of Earth’s most awe-inspiring destinations.

boundaries together, the timepiece embodies our shared spirit of adventure and commitment to offering extraordinary experiences around the globe, creating lasting memories and fostering a genuine sense of community to enrich the lives of our clientele” says JeanMarc Pontroué, CEO of Panerai.

“I’m honoured to be leading another Panerai expedition in the exciting discovery of the most remote areas of Bhutan, sharing my know-how with guests on site to champion them in overcoming limits along the way as well as putting the new timepiece to the test as the essential companion throughout the journey.

Embracing bravery, taking risks and continually striving for more will be key factors in making this experience one of a kind” says Mike Horn, Panerai Ambassador.

An innovative initiative launched in 2019, the Panerai Experience Program provides owners of limited-edition Experience watches with unparalleled opportunities to engage with the Maison on a deeper level. Beyond highly curated itineraries – offering

singular moments that are usually inaccessible and cannot be bought – the program creates an environment where lasting memories are forged and a genuine sense of community is nurtured.

Priceless intimate encounters that define luxury in a whole new sense.

To immerse its clients in the thrilling world of exploration, PAM01670 will allow owners to partake in a breathtaking journey through Bhutan led by Mike Horn himself.

Tapping into Panerai’s adventure pillar, showcasing the technicity, durability and versatility side of Panerai timepieces out in the wild, it is a celebration of the Maison’s exploring spirit.

The journey will challenge both mental and physical boundaries to freely unfold guests’ personalities as modern heroes, while performing adrenaline pumping activities supported by their survival instruments.

From preparatory trainings before trekking to witnessing its unique landscapes, cultural heritage and remote beauty, nestled in

the Himalayas, participants will engage in hiking sessions as well as activities offering a sensorial deep dive into Bhutan’s history, culture and natural splendour and showcasing the country’s mystical blend of ancient and modern traditions.

Precision, toughness and reliability, PAM01670 combines cutting-edge materials, innovative technology and exceptional Swiss technicity.

The 47mm case is crafted from Grade 5 Titanium using Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), an additive fabrication process that optimizes weight while maintaining superior mechanical resistance. This hightech material is 40% lighter and 60% harder than steel, making it an ideal companion for Horn’s remarkable feats.

The timepiece features a unidirectional rotating bezel made of Carbotech™, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant composite material that is 80% lighter than steel and 64% lighter than titanium. Each Carbotech™ bezel has a distinctive pattern, ensuring that no two watches are exactly alike.

The bezel rotates only counterclockwise, allowing for the calculation of immersion time – a crucial feature for a diving instrument.

PAM01670 presents an openworked display that allows a glimpse into the watch’s mechanical construction where the SuperLumiNova® X1 coating on indices and hands magnifies the spectacular nature of the design in darkness and serves as an aesthetic nod to Panerai’s deep connection with the field of luminescence.

The timepiece is further enriched by a patented polarized date display – an exclusive Panerai innovation – allowing a view of the date indication only through the opening at 3 o’clock, without

obscuring the mechanism of its skeletonized movement, synonym of the Maison’s commitment in elevating its functional design.

Laser-engraved numerals on a transparent crystal disc become visible only when passing through the polarized date opening at 3o’clock.

At the heart of the PAM01670 is the P.4001/S automatic calibre - a high-tech interpretation of a skeletonized movement, showcasing the intricate inner workings of the watch through its expertly crafted openwork design.

With high-precision open-worked bridges, each component of the calibre is a result of Panerai’s watchmaking technical expertise

and bold design, creating a timepiece that is as visually stunning as it is mechanically impressive.

With a diameter of 13 ¾ lignes (31mm) and composed of 341 components, it beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 alternations/hour) and boasts an impressive power reserve of 3 days, whose indicator is strategically placed on the reverse side for subtle visibility, ensuring reliable and precise timekeeping even during the most demanding adventures.

The offcentered bidirectional micro-rotor is made primarily of tungsten, a dense and heavy materialthat efficiently winds the two barrels.

The power reserve indicator is strategically placed next to the micro-rotor on the reverse side of the movement, visible through the sapphire caseback, proudly bearing Horn’s signature in blue.

The watch also features a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, which instantly zeroes and stops when the crown is pulled out for a precise time setting.

Enriching the PAM01670 is the GMT complication, displayed with a second orange hour hand referencing the colours of Bhutan’s flag and a small AM/PM indicator at 9 o’clock, enhancing the watch’s functionality and versatility.

Excellent for adventurers and travellers like Mike Horn, this complication allows for easy tracking of a second time zone.

With a water resistance up to 50 bar, approximately 500 meters, improved by 67% compared to previous Submersible models, this watch is built to withstand the

most challenging environments. The timepiece has been rigorously tested, subjecting it to a pressure 25%

greater than the guaranteed water resistance value to ensure it meets Panerai’s stringent standards.

With the goal of designing innovative and reliable instruments empowering modern heroes in their daily quests, Submersible represents the line dedicated to overcome the limits of watchmaking. From high-tech materials to elevated water resistance and high luminosity, the Collection celebrates Panerai’s historical association with the world of the sea as its natural playground as well as the pursuit for superior performance, functionality and durability crafting professional survival tools to withstand the harshest conditions.

«My Dior is my very own maille,» Victoire de Castellane.

With the exceptional pieces in the My Dior collection, Victoire de Castellane continues her impassioned tribute to the House’s history and heritage, highlighting the iconic cannage.

With its harmonious lines suggesting the founding-couturier’s taste for architecture, it has become, season after season, one of the symbols of Dior elegance.

TIMELESS MODERNITY - THE TOURBILLONS

The Bugatti Tourbillon, the pinnacle of engineering and artistry, has captivated audiences worldwide since its unveiling in June at Château Saint Jean, the home of Bugatti in France. Showcasing its all-new hyper sports car – the pioneer of a new era – Bugatti has taken the Tourbillon on a global journey, spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and now East Asia. The latest stops in Japan and Singapore emphasized the profound connection between Bugatti’s storied history and the rich traditions embedded in both Japanese and Singaporean cultures.

A country where the past and future coexist in perfect harmony, Japan offers the ideal backdrop for Bugatti’s Tourbillon.

Just as Japan builds upon its timeless heritage within an evolving urban landscape, the Tourbillon embodies a similar duality, merging the best of both worlds.

Drawing inspiration from legendary creations such as the Type 57 Atlantic, Type 41 Royale, and Type 35, the Bugatti design team fused the brand’s legacy of excellence

with forward-thinking innovation to create a masterpiece that echoes Japan’s own cultural fusion.

With its rich history and deep respect for excellence, Japan naturally aligns with the Tourbillon’s mix of artistry, precision, and performance.

As the Tourbillon traveled through iconic locations across Japan, different facets of its identity were revealed, each reflecting the values that define the brand.

Marking a significant moment in the celebration of a new era, the Tourbillon was unveiled to customers, select media, and fans at the prestigious Bugatti dealerships in Osaka and Tokyo.

These exclusive showrooms, already renowned for embodying the Bugatti philosophy, served as key stops on a carefully curated journey – every extraordinary location along the way thoughtfully chosen to mirror the craftsmanship behind Bugatti’s latest creation.

of outstanding cultural significance. Each captured the essence of Japanese serenity where the sacred beauty of the landmarks speaks volumes about Japan’s dedication to preservation.

The Tourbillon, with its unwavering allure rooted in 115 years of excellence, unmistakably aligned with the setting.

At its epicenter lies Akihabara, the electric heart of the city. Renowned for its pioneering technology and dynamic creativity, Akihabara’s ever-evolving landscape is where invention and design converge, pushing the boundaries of possibility – vibrantly reflecting the pioneering soul that defines the Tourbillon and its cutting-edge engineering.

An island nation of striking contrasts, Singapore is a place where skyscrapers rise beside lush greenery, and the classical intertwines with the contemporary.

Known as the ‘Garden City,’ Singapore exemplifies the harmony of nature’s serenity with the vibrancy of urban life.

The duality of the Tourbillon, its timeless elegance and sophistication combined with never-seen-before engineering and design, seamlessly mirrors the striking contrasts of the unique and special island that is Singapore, where imposing skyscrapers sit side-by-side with the city’s calming natural backdrop.

landmark that epitomizes the city’s blend of history and modernity.

Remarkable for its historic architecture and for the scale of its 21st-century restoration, the hotel reflects the fusion of the old and the new, providing the Bugatti Tourbillon hyper sports car with a fitting home for its visit.
