ARTFUL PENTHOUSE IN BOSTON PUTTING COMFORT AND WELLBEING IN THE FIRST PLACE
Stunning and elegant, the contemporary modern style is the one that best complements and adapts to a simple and practical lifestyle, without needing to think too much about decoration. Massachusetts state capital is delighted to receive the superb new Caffe Latte project, designed by Yasmine Ibrahim.
Created in open space format, filled with wood panelling and marble finishes, it contemplates different spaces, with nature-inspired shades, putting comfort and well-being in the first place.
As a crossing point between rooms, like a mere foyer, the modern classic style stands out, underlined by the eloquent presence of Colosseum II Console and Aurum Wall Lamp, two iconic pieces.
As the largest area of an apartment, the living room is often considered the pinnacle of coziness and relax, just like happens in this project, thanks to the subtle, but significant role of Sherman Sofa, a neutral seating statement piece, flanked by Caffe Latte’s Robusta Center Table and Altura Mirror, two portraits of the power of marble.
“Interior design is making the best possible use of the available space”
As faithful companions, there are also Cutty Side Table and Macchiato Stool, from Caffe Latte, in a simpler and more functional aesthetic, without forgetting Oslo Rug, which brings with it the famous terrazzo inspiration. On the lighting issue, it can be found the iconic Horus II Suspension Lamp, and also the brand new Mármol Floor Lamp, in champagne tones, produced exclusively by Covet Collection.
For cozier evenings by the fireplace, there are two Ellen Armchairs, inspired by the classic mid-century style, as well as Brutte Side Table, from Caffe Latte, great support for books or other decorative objects.
Another unconditional attraction of the penthouse is the dining room, where all the pieces and details harmoniously combine within the modern style, in which Caffe Latte is queen and mistress, through the marbled Breve Oval Dining Table, but also the lavish Moka Dining Chair. Meanwhile, White Garden Rug is spread across the floor, as a manifesto of neutrality, in addition to the unequivocal and reinforced presence of Horus II Suspension Lamp.
Bathed in white and klein blue tones, the kitchen appears as an oasis of minimalism and functionality, where it can be found Niku Pendant Lamp, but also Freddo Bar Chair, a newest piece of Caffe Latte.
At last, with immediate access to the balcony, a colorful office, in fresh and lively tones, catches the eye. Cassia Modular Sofa, by Caffe Latte, reveals all its adaptability and versatility, in a trendy pink version. A very flexible piece, either for a living or reading corner design.
Caffe Latte, in partnership with Yasmine Ibrahim, inaugurate a new residential concept: calm sophistication, where escape from day-to-day stress is duly rewarded by a clean and invigorating aesthetic, imbued with a familiar and intimate concept.
CAFFE LATTE modern Design’s paramount is to provide ergonomic and functionality to any room, with a modern minimalist approach. Complementing other designs aesthetics with the use of a neutral colour palette, presenting sobriety to any interior decoration project, ultimately creating a consensual and transversal design, suitable for any taste.

THE FEMININE SIDE OF BELLOTTI
EZIO: DONATELLA AND FEDERICA BELLOTTI LEADING THE WAY
Donatella and Federica Bellotti are the new face of Bellotti Ezio, the family business renowned for its deep-rooted history and craftsmanship that has shaped the legacy of Made in Italy. As the third generation now at the helm, the sisters embody a fresh vision, ready to propel the company into the future while honoring its prestigious past.
With the same passion and determination that inspired their father Ezio to explore international markets in the 1980s, Donatella and Federica are embracing the challenges of the modern era. They are navigating a present and future where technology and digital innovation are inseparable from daily life, and where classic design must reinvent itself to resonate with contemporary living trends.
This transformation is at the heart of Bellotti Ezio’s journey today. Few are better positioned to lead this evolution than two women whose leadership blends tradition with innovation. While they respect the craftsmanship and quality that
have always defined the company, Donatella and Federica represent a turning point, bringing a fresh, bold, and distinctly feminine perspective to a sector steeped in heritage.
Taking on the responsibility of such an important legacy was a courageous decision that has matured and strengthened over time. After nearly three decades working within the company, the two sisters have embarked on a new chapter not only in their professional careers but in their lives. As wives, mothers of nowgrown children, and forwardthinking entrepreneurs, they are committed to ensuring not just the continuity of Bellotti Ezio, but its growth and evolution.
Since 2021, this commitment has taken shape through significant modernization efforts. These include a clearer specialization in their respective roles, a more structured organizational model, substantial investments in technology, and an expanded creative direction for the brand’s collections.
Donatella represents the company’s managerial and strategic side, bringing rigor and pragmatism to her role overseeing administration and sales. Her leadership has driven critical updates, including the addition of young, dynamic talent to the team. Federica, with her imaginative and design-focused approach, leads the creative process, shaping collections that reimagine classic style for modern audiences.
Despite their differing personalities and areas of expertise, the sisters share an unwavering commitment to a common goal: the company’s success. “We have different characters and approaches, but our purpose keeps us aligned,” they explain. “Our bond is a strength, and we bring our team into this vision, ensuring they believe in and share the values that drive Bellotti Ezio.”
Together, Donatella and Federica are forging a path toward a future of innovation, ensuring that Bellotti Ezio remains a symbol of excellence in Italian design.
UPPER BELGRAVE HOME TRANSFORMATION
Berkeley Place enhanced and transformed a beautiful Victorian mansion located in heart of Clifton, Bristol. A full renovation, the family has recently returned from abroad to live in Bristol. The brief from the client was to create a open plan living area on the ground floor with plenty of crittal glazing for light to shine through. The vibe of the project was to enhance original features and fuse together modern/ contemporary with old. The project challenges were the restoration of a beautiful, patterned floor hallway. The client needed fast turnaround times to be able to live in the home. Significant structural intervention of the ground floor was needed to create an open plan living space. The team focused on restoring old features of the project and installing ‘new’ in the form of crittal doors. Feature panelling was introduced to the walls.
The kitchen was installed with a custom fit Henley painted Neptune Kitchen with brass handles and equipped with quartz countertops, cabinet downlights, gas range and bespoke shelved larder. The flooring across the kitchen, dining room, living room, office, cloakroom and master bedroom was uplifted and insulated with Herringbone express engineered timber flooring. Berkeley Place worked with the internal structure of the property to reinforce a wall with a new steel beam to extend into the living room with new crittal doors. In the dining, living and casual living room, the fireplaces were restored to be working. In the hallway entrance and upstairs, dining and dressing rooms, the rooms were mould, cast and enhanced with cornice.
A welcome home entrance was created in the downstairs hallway installed with a black velvet runner with whipped edges and antique bronzed solid stair rods up the stairway. All doorways’ downstairs were fitted with new crittal and the stairway features were cleaned and restored. The historic and beautiful floor-tiles were restored to create a beautiful, patterned entrance hallway. Herringbone expresso engineered timber flooring is a feature of the upstairs main hallway with a clean and refinished stair balustrade.
The ground floor toilet had a makeover with a new frosted crittal sliding door installed. Equipped with quartz countertop vanity and mirror with brushed brass gold featured all from HARRODS. A tec TOTO toilet delights guests with a Japanese ands-free operation using a remote control, warm-air drying and air purification system. In the guest bathroom there is a quartz wet room ensuite forming part of an adjoining bathroom. The ensuite includes a walk-in-shower, freestanding bath, WC, basin vanity and heated towel. Touched with cross water brassware and brushed brass bidet tap. The TOTO toilets and Ropr Rhodes Quartz is in all bathrooms.
A master bedroom, dressing room and ensuite bathroom was created by modifying 2x bedrooms and adjoining bathroom to form a master bedroom suite including ensuite and dressing area. The ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in-shower, WC, basin vanity and heated towel rail. The furnishings mainly all came from HARRODS home & furniture with Farrow & Ball paint. Other furnishings were supplied from local stores based in Bristol, Bath and Somerset.

hm-LI STUDIO INTRODUCES THREE NEW FURNITURE COLLECTIONS
Three New Furniture Collections:
- Weaving Chair
- Le Sourire Chair
- Curl Cabinet Series
hm-LI Studio, led by founder and designer Haoming Li, is thrilled to unveil three innovative furniture collections: the Weaving Chair, the Le Sourire Chair, and the Curl Cabinet Series. Each collection reflects hm-LI Studio’s distinct design philosophy, merging art, architecture, and nature to create furniture that inspires reflection and engagement through timeless, minimalistic forms.
A vision of minimalism and natural materials
hm-LI Studio’s new collections emphasize natural textures and calming colors, encapsulating a modern yet culturally resonant approach to furniture design. Haoming Li’s background in architecture and her rich cultural heritage influence every piece, blending Eastern aesthetics with the functional needs of contemporary design. The studio’s unique approach uses weaving techniques and geometric forms to explore the balance between two-dimensional and threedimensional design, producing visually compelling and lightweight furniture.
NEW COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS
Weaving Series
The Weaving Chair Series showcases a delicate exploration of form and structure through flowing lines and spatial fluidity. The first piece in this series recently won the prestigious 2024 Red Dot Award. Inspired by a spontaneous moment—when designer Haoming Li folded and played with a receipt while waiting in line—the concept behind the Weaving Chair reflects the transformation of a flat surface into a dynamic threedimensional object.
The Weaving Chair is designed for precision, with bent wood construction allowing for
disassembly and transport. Its unique mortise-and-tenon joinery system invites users to participate in the assembly, adding an element of interaction. Drawing on the Chinese aesthetic concept of “ ” (a traditional furniture structural element), the chair incorporates subtle Eastern influences in a modern, minimal design language. The collection offers dining chairs, benches, and stools in adult and children’s sizes, with a variety of material options from natural wood finishes to colorful lacquers and textiles.
Le Sourire Series
The Le Sourire Chair Series redefines the aesthetic and practical use of solid wood furniture. The design is deeply influenced by Haoming Li’s architectural background, where the understanding of structure, space, and form plays a central role. This architectural foundation
brings a strong sense of balance and precision to the design, ensuring that each piece is not only visually appealing, but also structurally sound.
Additionally, Haoming draws inspiration from her family’s heritage in traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. This cultural influence is reflected in the chair’s flowing, balanced lines, which evoke the graceful brushstrokes of calligraphy. The fluidity and elegance of these lines transform the solid wood into a soft, almost organic form, as though capturing the essence of movement within a static object. Inspired by the gentle flow of silk, the folds of the chair speak of softness in a fleeting moment—curves that symbolize both strength and refinement.
Using CNC solid wood carving technology, the Le Sourire Series achieves a seamless connection between the backrest and seat, creating a visually “floating” effect that reduces the perceived heaviness of solid wood. Ergonomically designed for
comfort, the high-backed version provides support, while variations with lower backs or no backs are perfect for benches or side tables. The series comes in a range of finishes, including natural oils and traditional Chinese lacquer, where strength and elegance unite in perfect harmony.
Curl Series
The Curl Cabinet Series explores the interplay of form and function with its distinctive curved surfaces and woven grid patterns. The series enhances user interaction with its multi-directional opening doors, offering flexible storage solutions in a variety of configurations. The elegant curves and minimalist grid design bring a sense of order and sophistication to any space.
Combining wood and metal elements, the Curl Cabinet strikes a balance between industrial lightness and solid construction. The modular design can be adapted to different spaces, from larger sideboards to smaller bedside tables. Customizable surface finishes range from traditional wood veneers to bold Chinese lacquer finishes, allowing each piece to reflect the unique aesthetic of its environment.
INTERVIEW WITH HAOMING LI –BRIDGING TRADITION AND MODERNITY
Haoming Li, whose work has already garnered international acclaim, spoke about the inspirations behind these new collections.
“My designs stem from a fascination with the interplay between structure and fluidity, deeply influenced by the forms and philosophies of traditional Chinese art,” she explains. “The Weaving Chair, for instance, was inspired by a simple moment—folding a receipt—and this idea of transforming flatness into volume became the core of the piece. I believe that design should be approachable, yet profound, allowing people to feel a sense of connection with the piece.”
Li’s expertise and dedication have earned her multiple accolades, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, the Design Shanghai Picks Award, and several MUSE Design Awards. Her work is rapidly establishing hm-LI Studio as a noteworthy player in the international design community.
“For me, design is not just about form; it’s about creating something that resonates on a personal level,” she adds. “I draw a lot of inspiration from my upbringing and my experiences working in both large-scale architecture and intimate furniture design.”

INTRODUCING SANDÖ ICONIC: A FLOATING SENSATION FROM CARPE DIEM BEDS
Imagine the tranquil shores of Sweden’s West Coast, where the sea meets rocky cliffs, and the air carries whispers of serenity. This breathtaking landscape is the inspiration behind Carpe Diem Beds’ Iconic Collection, a series of beds that blend Scandinavian design with uncompromising comfort. Now, as Carpe Diem Beds approaches their 30th anniversary, the Swedish bedmakers unveil the latest addition to this celebrated range: Sandö Iconic – a floating reimagining of their best-selling model.
A journey to weightless comfort
It all began with a moment of inspiration. Börje Thuleskär, the founder of Carpe Diem Beds, was resting on the heather-covered island of Stora Kornö and experienced a feeling of weightlessness. This sensation inspired The Iconic Collection, a series of luxury floating beds designed to transport you to a tranquil haven.
With its signature centred leg design, the collection’s ethereal aesthetic evokes a dreamlike sense of floating. The newest member of this family, Sandö Iconic, takes this vision to new heights. As Carpe Diem Beds’ most popular continental bed model, Sandö is beloved for its three layers of spring systems that deliver a sleep experience like no other. Now reimagined with a floating design, it offers a seamless combinatison of elegance, innovation, and unparalleled comfort.
The magic behind the design Sandö’s design is more than a visual masterpiece. At its core lies three layers of spring systems, one being the patented Contour Pocket Spring System. With this unique innovation, the individual pocket springs adjust to the body’s contours, instantly adapting to every new position. Besides the spring systems, there’s also the patented Visco Elastic Bottom Layer. A comfort segment developed together with the Spinal Unit at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. This layer provides stability, reduces pressure, and ensures efficient blood circulation, helping you sleep undisturbed and wake up refreshed.
Where innovation meets artistry

REFLECTING ON THE PAST
In a glorious manor house with intricate plasterwork and ceiling frescos, we began thinking about how much time and skill this craft entailed. In an effort not to convolute nor detract from this space, and instead let the detail do the talking, we styled this stunning salon in a contemporary manor to reflect, and let the architecture sing, whilst still giving space to the Coach House furniture and accessories used throughout.
The ‘floating’ mirrored coffee tables, duplicated to add symmetry and balance, allow for the ceiling to be admired from every angle. The same can be said for the mirrored drinks cabinet, also floating, inspired by a 1960’s antique. There is a delicate gold detail to elevate the piece, it again refracts and reflects the paintings on the walls, through unusual and unsuspecting angles. All this contrasting against the more natural feel oversized linen sofa, a modern take on a Knowle. Beautifully hand studded set on Belgium linen, it is the perfect scale for such a large drawing room.
Onto the Imperial collection, used here are the shelving unit, console and chest of drawers. These are the antiques of the future. They are
beautifully hand carved and work perfectly where brown antiques might not suit. The paler washed wood allows for a more contemporary twist on the classic, and the colour pairs well with the soft pink in the frescos. The same can be said for the carving, giving a high level of intricate detail, so very rarely found in modern furniture.
There is an ornate fireplace in the salon, unfortunately no longer in working condition, so in lieu we used the Sences Smoke diffuser to bring a warm woody atmosphere to the space, as well as many lit candles to add life and warmth. The silk bend cushion with the palm motif adds a bit of fun as well as luxury. And then there’s a hint of pineapple
throughout, inspired by the regency aesthetic, there is pineapple detail on the planter, the console and the textiles- a conscious nod to the era.
All together proving that these listed manor houses do not have to be stuffed with antiques and kept in the past, nor completely lacking in soul with one large uncomfortable sofa and an overpriced sculpture. They can be dressed in the present yet reflecting on the past. Where the detail and skill are mirrored in both the old and the new, and each piece of furniture or accessory has a purpose and a reason. Letting both the architecture and the interior styling have soul simultaneously.
BESPOKE CREATIVE INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES FROM dk INTERIORS
Founded in 2008 dk interiors specialises in creating stylish, understated, considered and timeless spaces with meticulous attention to detail from concept to installation.
The services offered include Interior Design, Interior Architecture, as well as styling and interior consultation, encompassing spatial planning, bathroom, kitchen and joinery design together with sourcing of beautiful finishes, furniture, materials and textiles, all individually tailored and unique to each project.
Supported by a skilled team of contractors, craftsmen and suppliers Debra and her team deliver bespoke interiors combining style seamlessly with function. Placing focus and commitment in understanding and interpreting a client’s brief, the end result reflecting a client’s personality, lifestyle and needs
Designing a project is a collaboration not only between the client and designer but also between the trusted trades, craftsman, suppliers appointed to execute the project.
The process starts with the client brief, translated into a visual direction using many mediums to illustrate the vision and establish the narrative. Social media platforms play a large part in starting off the process, Pinterest for mood boards, Instagram for visual images and direction, even TikTok for trends.
Most importantly is understanding the client’s needs, lifestyle, direction, brief and of course the budget.
Our role in executing and designing to the brief, is to inspire and stimulate the client with ideas they would not be able to achieve alone, possibly due to time pressures, knowledge, desire or confidence.
We attempt to push the boundaries in all areas of design, through materials, colours, textures, spatial planning, lighting, considering every aspect in creating an interesting home reflecting the client’s own passions.
Our design ethos is be true to yourself, have self belief but always open to constructive feedback.
We like to re-use, re-purpose, mix old and new, vintage and modern, not just to specify all new pieces. It is hard to be truly sustainable but we try, our preference is for natural materials, finishes, fabrics and processes
Art is one of our real passions, nothing is more satisfying than placing a client’s beloved pieces as an integral part of the design whether it is art, photography, objet, artefacts, sculpture or sourcing pieces to compliment their own possessions.
The illustrated project is a real testament to the client owning fantastic pieces, stimulating the design direction of the project in terms of spatial planning, colour, style, and even joinery design
Debra Kacher, the founder of dk interiors is a full registered member of the BIID, a director on Council and an active committee member.

Colour drenching is set to be one of the most striking interior design trends for 2025. This technique involves immersing your space in a single colour palette. It goes beyond simply painting walls; it extends to furniture, ceilings, and floors to create a seamless look.
Why not take colour drenching to the next level by fully transforming your room head to toe in gorgeous tiles? This stand-out look may be more permanent than a couple of coats of paint, but trust us, it turns your space into a showstopping work of art.
As we look ahead to 2025, the world of interior design is poised for an exciting evolution, offering fresh, innovative ideas to transform our homes. With the shift from summer’s warmth to autumn’s crisp air, it’s the perfect time to embrace new design possibilities.
From bold colour palettes to nature-inspired elements, plus a 70s favourite - here are our top interior design trends for 2025.
3 EARTHY NEUTRALS
Say hello to earthy neutrals, such as terracotta, ochre, and sage, which bring nature-filled vibes indoors. These warming shades ooze serenity and warmth, making them ideal for creating serene living spaces.
The versatility of earthy neutrals makes them a stand-out in interior design trends for 2025, serving as both base colours and accents that effortlessly complement a wide range of schemes. Paired with natural materials like wood, stone, and clay, these tones create a cohesive, organic look that perfectly complements the growing desire for sustainability and wellness in interior design.
4 COOL METALLICS
While warm metallics like gold, bronze, and copper continue to bring industrial-chic vibes to interiors, 2025, is marking a shift towards the cool metallics. Silver tones, in particular, are set to dominate, offering a sleek alternative that pairs beautifully with contemporary designs.
Silver’s versatility makes it perfect for achieving a polished, modern look without overwhelming your space. Whether used in lighting fixtures, hardware, or accent decor, silver adds a fresh, sophisticated touch that complements both neutral and bold colour schemes.
5 TACTILE ELEMENTS
One of our favourite interior design trends for 2025 will see many textured materials such as linen, wool, and jute, with layering being key to creating a cosy sanctuary in your home.
For those looking for a budgetfriendly way to bring texture into their space, consider wood or stone-effect tiles. These options allow you to achieve a luxurious, textured aesthetic without the cost of solid materials. The key here is to mix and match different textures to create a space that feels both snug and homely.
6 TEXTURED WALLS AND CEILINGS
As one of the prominent interior design trends for 2025, walls are set to become focal points rather than just backdrops. In kitchens and bathrooms, bold 3D textured tiles will take centre stage, especially geometric patterns or daring colours. Textured wall treatments, such as plaster, limewash, and embossed wall panels, add dimension and interest to otherwise minimalist spaces.
Statement ceilings will also rise in popularity, whether through paint, wood beams, or artistic tiles, drawing the eye upward and making a dramatic impact on the space.
7 SPA-LIKE SPACES
With health and well-being becoming more important than ever, it’s no surprise that wellnessinspired spaces are emerging as a popular interior design trend for 2025.
These dedicated areas allow you to escape from modern life and focus on relaxation and self-care. Whether it’s a meditation corner, a small yoga studio, or a zen garden, the goal is to create a sanctuary within your home.
Bathrooms can be transformed into spa-like retreats with the use of calming colours, soft lighting, and natural materials like stone and bamboo. In open-plan spaces, introducing elements like plants, and soft textures can create a holistic living environment that evokes relaxation and tranquility.
8 OCEAN-INSPIRED HUES
Coastal-inspired hues are making waves as one of the key interior design trends for 2025. In bathroom design, these fresh and tranquil shades create a serene, calming vibe. Soft aqua tones provide a blissful, beachy style reminiscent of seaside retreats, while deeper navy hues add a touch of sophistication.
Trend tip: Pair these oceanic shades with natural materials like wood, stone, and textured elements to complete the look, transforming your bathroom into a peaceful coastal sanctuary.
9 BIOPHILIC DESIGN
One of the key interior design trends for 2025 is all about bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside. Imagine luscious indoor plants, striking green walls, and a flood of natural light.
It’s not just about looks, though. Using materials like wood and stone creates a soothing, nature-inspired space that’s as good for your soul as it is for your style, helping you create a calm, rejuvenating environment where you can truly unwind.
10 SEAMLESS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR LIVING
Blending indoor and outdoor spaces with organic materials and sophisticated design choices is set to be one of the most popular interior design trends for 2025. If your kitchen or dining area flows into an outdoor space, try porcelain tiles that emulate natural textures and colours.
These tiles are not only durable but also versatile, allowing for a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Choose tiles with a matt finish and subtle patterns to enhance the continuity and visual harmony of the room.
Walls can get a quick makeover, too, with a wood slat effect mural, giving you a more affordable way to achieve high-end interiors that are timeless and on-trend.
11 VINTAGE AND RETRO REVIVAL
As one of our favourite interior design trends for 2025, retro styles are making a splash with a fresh, modern twist. Think vintage furniture, bold patterns, and nostalgic decor items that blend perfectly with contemporary design.
To strike the perfect balance, mix retro pieces with modern elements. Picture pairing a sleek, space-age metallic finish with the warm touch of natural wood. Iridescent surfaces and mirrored accents can give your space a futuristic edge, while classic retro furniture adds character and charm.
By blending old with new, you’ll crate a scheme that are not only stylish but also brimming with personality.
12 ORGANIC SHAPES AND CURVES
Curved furniture and organic shapes are becoming a staple in modern interior design trends for 2025. Soft, rounded edges bring a sense of comfort and fluidity to spaces, contrasting with the rigid lines of traditional furniture.
You’ll want to keep an eye out for pieces like curved sofas, scalloped tiles that add texture and charm, and circular rugs that tie everything together. Oval mirrors and arched doorways are also making a big impact, adding that extra touch of elegance.
This interior design trend for 2025 is all about creating spaces that feel comfy and stylish, with a natural flow that makes your home feel like a peaceful oasis.
13 THE AVOCADO BATHROOM REVIVAL
The avocado bathroom, a defining trend of the 1970s, is making a stylish comeback! Once known for its bold green suites and earthy tones, this iconic look is now being embraced by a new generation of homeowners looking to add a touch of retro charm to their spaces. However, the modern revival is all about balance – blending that signature avocado green with sleek, contemporary designs.
One of the easiest ways to bring this trend into 2024 is through green bathroom tiles. From glossy metro tiles to elegant herringbone patterns, the possibilities are endless. Pair them with natural wood accents or brass fixtures to capture the essence of the 70s, while still keeping your space modern and fresh. You can even mix shades of green or combine them with neutral tones for a stylish, updated take on this retro classic. Have

NEW PRODUCT ALERT: NEWMOR UNVEIL FOUR CAPTIVATING NEW DESIGN COLLECTIONS
This autumn, Newmor introduce four captivating design collections, drawing inspiration from the rich global cultures identified in their Sugar and Spice trend. The new designs blend grounding aesthetics with a sense of warmth and creativity, evoking scenes from Moroccan souks to Balinese jungles, all while exuding a hint of the exotic. With elements like animal print, tropical foliage, and rustic textures, the collections bring nature to life through a contemporary lens, accented with metallic touches for an elevated, tactile experience. The colour palette is a luxurious mix of vibrant tones like oxblood, gold, and amber, harmonized with classic shades of bitter chocolate and umber for an elegantly opulent effect.
Panthera
Introducing Panthera, a striking new leopard print that elevates Newmor’s unique Peloso fur texture. One of Newmor’s best-selling embosses, Peloso pairs perfectly with Panthera, offering a versatile design statement, whether soft and sophisticated or bold and daring. Panthera infuses exotic elegance into any space, with a modern twist on the classic animal print.
The six metallic colourways include soft grey, chocolate, champagne, and copper. Designers can select the subtle and sophisticated tone-on-tone colour or embrace their wild side with the high contrast black and gold combination. To complete the palette, Newmor have also added a new warm grey colourway to Peloso.
Shagreen
Java
Inspired by the rugged volcanic beauty of the island, Java features a natural, weathered texture enhanced with delicate pearlescent print. Reminiscent of jute sacks used for transporting coffee, this design layers woven textures with metallic accents for a warm, organic yet sophisticated finish.
The nine colourways range from nature-inspired seafoam, khaki, and oyster to rich accents of lava, chocolate, and charcoal.
Shagreen introduces a deeply textured new emboss that draws from this luxurious material’s history, dating back to 13th-century Japan and gaining prominence during the Art Deco era. Traditionally made from shark or ray skin, shagreen is prized for its granular texture. Newmor’s version brings this heritage design into the modern age with a tip print technique that highlights the emboss, creating a subtle ombre effect and metallic glisten.
The 12-colorway palette spans refined neutrals like oyster, blush, and slate, to bolder tones such as oxblood, sapphire, and teal; each is enhanced with shimmering metallic highlights.
Folia
Finally, Folia invites you into a lush tropical paradise, with handpainted banana leaves in expressive, trend-led colours. This vibrant design is brought to life through a horizontal bamboo emboss, adding texture and depth to the untamed foliage. The six bold colourways include Tropic greens, Azure blues, fiery Amber, and eye-catching Magenta.
CAMPBELL,
“Everyone knows I’m crazy about leopard print, but not just any leopard print, it’s all about striking the right balance. Colour, scale and texture are key and have to be well considered to elevate this design look. Elegant and sophisticated, the right leopard print can make a strong and unique design statement full of personality and class.
“It’s taken time to perfect, but I love our new Panthera design. The fur texture of Peloso is unique to Newmor and lends itself perfectly to this type of design. The delicate twinkle of the emboss paired with the colorations we’ve selected are simply stunning!
“All four new designs drew inspiration from our Sugar and Spice trend launched earlier this year. Java adds a touch of glamour to natural textures, ideal for any commercial setting. Shagreen, featuring our new emboss and tip printing, is a standout for enhancing modern interiors. And Folia transports you straight to the tropics with its atmospheric, hand-painted leaves.”
Available from stock, Newmor have set the tone for sophisticated and inspiring interiors. Their design studio can even rescale and recolour each design to suit your specific project.
So, what’s next we asked. “A holiday to Morocco to unwind, and then back to work refining my 2025 Trends Report which we will share in January” replied Rose.

BATHE IN ROMANTICISM WITH AN ELEVATED SENSORY BATHROOM EXPERIENCE
Following the success of their debut AW23 bathroom collection and the launch of a one-of-a-kind, limited-edition, hand-painted bath, designed by eminent artist Emily ForgotClearwater Interiors announce their new AW24 bathroom collection, officially launching this October at Decorex, Olympia London.
The new collection sees an injection of four new colourways into the existing eco-luxe bathroom collection from Clearwater Interiors. The new colourways –Soft Pink, Navy Blue, Military Green and Copper Brown – are available across basins, baths, furniture and stone wall panels. All Clearwater Interiors stone wall panels are fully customisable, with the ability to cut to size from the standard measurements available to order.
As a true celebration of the evolution of the bathroom, the collection showcases creativity over compliance that’s never been seen before in the bathroom space. Gone is quiet luxury, the elevated bathroom now heralds a new, distinctive and artful age. The sunbaked Soft Pink and rich opulent Navy Blue couple together to create an effortless energy that elevates, rejuvenates and transports.
Resist the minimalist urge with the eccentric touches of dualtoned baths, brushed brassware and a waterfall shower. Bathe in romanticism by layering colour and texture against the elegant curvature of an engineered stone bath. The new collection creates an interesting interplay between the
transformative power of colour - in both design and wellbeing – and the craftsmanship and sophistication of Clearwater Interiors’ luxury baths, furniture and brassware. With the captivating presence of The Clement Bath in Soft Pink and Matt White, accentuate the natural eccentricity of the sensory bathroom experience.
Interior Stylist, Marianne Cotterill says of the collection; “Eccentric to me means mixing styles, patterns, influences and periods. I love the Clearwater Interiors
bath colour, a beautiful soft pink that flows into fabric perfectly. Mixing contemporary style with the traditional, but with a cheeky element, really sang. It’s timeless.”
Andy Oakman, Head of Clearwater Interiors and Lead Design Consultant adds; “After an incredible response to our launch last year, we received insightful feedback from the A&D community expressing the want for more colour. So that’s exactly what we’re doing. With the injection of colour through our AW24 collection, we’re elevating the bathroom space by encouraging eccentric exploration to create spaces that are curated, bespoke and a treat to the senses. The collection marks a crucial step in our ultimate goal to be a distinctive bathroom brand; delivering what interior designers, architects and homeowners are coveting in their bathroom projects and spaces.”

Using data from Pinterest, Victory Colours found searches for ‘classy bedroom ideas’ and ‘luxury bedroom master’ have increased 100% and 70% respectively over the last month.
She said: “Pastel hues have emerged as a popular choice for creating serene and inviting bedrooms. Their soft, calming tones can transform any space into a peaceful retreat.”
Victoria Yardley, founder of Victory Colours, said: “The bedroom should be your own sanctuary, your place of retreat. And for those master suites lacking in aesthetic appeal, a new colour scheme will transform the look and feel of the entire space.”
When it comes to choosing colour, those looking for an opulent update should consider softer hues, according to Victoria.
For minimalist spaces, sage greens such as Victory Colours’ Cloud Tree No.31, offer understated luxury, especially when paired with natural wooden fixtures.
A soft grey, such a Woolwinder No.36, will bring elegance and a touch of drama, without overwhelming the room. Soft greys work beautifully with other cool tones for a timeless touch.
For those homeowners looking to inject warmth into their classic bedroom scheme, a pale yellow, like Wild Honey No.40 or Arcadia No.38, is an ideal choice.
And finally, don’t forget that all important fifth wall – aka the ceiling.
Vicky added: “Painting the ceiling the same colour as the walls can make a large room feel intimate and create a cosy, cocoon-like retreat.
Alternatively, in smaller spaces, using a bright fresh shade on the ceiling can add an airy feel, making the space seem bigger.”
Victory Colours’ range of ecofriendly paints are available now, with prices starting at £44.95 for 2.5-litres of matt emulsion.

MODEST GARDEN STUDIOS TO SPACIOUS HOMES
Ecospace Studios, a Londonbased architectural firm, has created breath-taking modular buildings for multiple uses including garden offices, homes and educational buildings over 20 years ago.
The vibrant and multicultural team works from their central London office. The studios’ approach was
to create a high-quality sustainable building at a fixed cost and short delivery period by combining design and off-site construction in–house. They provide a flexible modular building that can be simply tailored, reconfigured or extended and applied to a diverse range of uses.
Ecospace buildings are made mainly from sustainable wood from renewable, certified sources. The off-site production improves quality control, efficiency and eliminates waste through recycling. The structures are designed to maximise energy efficiency with high insulation values through substantially thick multi-layered floors, walls and roofs.
Use an Ecospace building as a home
office and the commute to your garden will drastically reduce your carbon footprint. They can even integrate renewable energy options including photovoltaic solar panels, ground & air source heat pumps, wind turbines, biomass boilers and log burning stoves.
ECOSPACE BASEPRICELESS DESIGN FOR EVERYONE
Ecospace Studios has introduced Ecospace BASE to their range of buildings that is more compact in size and price but has all the professional design, quality and sustainability as their original studios.

TED TODD FLOOR THE NATURAL CHOICE FOR THE GREEN HOUSE
The Green House, a mid-terrace residential property in Islington, London, is the personal project and family home of awardnominated architect Jeremy Foster, founder of J Foster Architects, a RIBA chartered architectural practice.
With a primary emphasis on improving energy efficiency and minimising environmental harm by employing biophilic design principles, the overarching objective was to substantially reduce the building’s carbon footprint and overall energy consumption while simultaneously enhancing comfort and performance for the occupants.
The ground floor was extended, creating a naturally ventilated kitchen-diner with overhead glazing and views onto a newly landscaped garden. The original Victorian facades were retained, with a new second-floor extension added to incorporate a bedroom, en-suite, home office and laundry room.
Having worked with Ted Todd Fine Wood Floors on previous projects, J Foster Architects approached their Commercial Specification team for samples. Ted Todd sent a selection of options that aligned with the brief, emphasising the natural, hardwearing and sustainable. The client narrowed the selection down to Hollington Wide Plank, from Ted Todd’s new Classic Futures collection.
Combining the fundamental with the practical, Classic Futures is designed with architects in mind. Curated from three former Ted Todd collections, the vision for these extraordinary floors is permanence
and resilience: life-long floors in classic tones that become a part of the very fabric of the building.
Expertly crafted from slow-grown European oak, Hollington’s warm tones perfectly matched the project’s light-coloured aesthetic, with careful brushing highlighting the grain detail and a transparent matt lacquer providing additional protection while allowing the floor’s natural beauty to shine through.
Hollington also satisfied the project’s biophilic ambitions with its FSC certification. FSC certification guarantees wood from responsibly harvested forests where plant and animal species are protected, and old-growth forests are identified and maintained.
Jeremy said, “I have specified Ted Todd on several projects, as the range and quality of flooring are second to none. The ply substrate, grain quality, colour, and finish were exactly what I was looking for in my project. Quoting, samples, and technical support were, as
always, very swift, and ordering and delivery were also excellent.”
This impressive retrofit project increased the footprint of the property by over 50%. The new spaces sensitively complement the Victorian fabric with simple detailing and high-quality materials to deliver a modern, environmentally thoughtful home that will last for generations.
