The camp features skill competitions, including: juggling, dribbling, shooting, passing, and small-sided games.
Campers need to bring the following every day: court/indoor shoes, sunscreen, water bottle, bathing suit, and towel. Daily lunch is included.
9:00 AM – 9:15 AM Morning meeting and attendance
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM Swimming
Cost: $70/day or $250/week
9:15 AM – 9:30 AM Warm-up and stretching
12:30 AM – 1:15 PM Lunch and relax
9:30 AM – 10:15 AM Dribbling drills
1:15 PM – 1:45 PM Soccer history and game play instruction
10:15 AM – 11:00AM Form shooting for beginners and shooting drills
1:45 PM – 2:45 PM Skills competition

Coach Jeff Watson Jeff Watson has over 35 years of experience in directing and coaching summer soccer camps, as well as coaching high school soccer teams with a career record of 451-200-63. Coach Watson has taken two teams to the State Finals with one winning the championship. Coach Watson has captured 14 District titles, 4 Region titles, 3 Sectional titles and has coached three Players of the Year, 21 Florida All-State players, and 27 Miami Herald AllDade County First Team players. His Miami Country Day Team has received the NSCAA AllAcademic team award 7 times. In January 2012, he was inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame of Soccer Coaches.

Soccer brings people of all athletic abilities together. It doesn’t require a lot of equipment—just a ball, some shin guards, and the desire to play—and it teaches players valuable lessons they can apply later in life: dedication to goals, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Simple Soccer emphasizes more than just kicking and dribbling the ball: it instills confidence, strength, and integrity. And it’s a lot of fun to play!!!
Simple Soccer Camp The World Cup Experience at Home Miami Country Day School’s Simple Soccer Camp is designed to help players develop their full potential by providing them with a sound foundation of soccer skills. Simple Soccer embraces training for the individual player in all aspects of soccer, starting with personal skills and techniques. The camp features skill competitions including: juggling, dribbling, shooting, passing, and small-sided games. Led by FACA Hall of Fame soccer coach Jeff Watson, campers will be able to enhance their soccer skills. Learning soccer skills is great, but having fun is our number one GOAAAAAAL!!!
