Second Term Guide Pae 4 GUIDE 4 Name: Michael Andaluz Date: 14/01/2020 Level: 4th B Compare your parents´ generation with your generation

There are some changes with my parents´ generations and my generation. Some of the examples are that in the past my parent generation used to listen classical music like rock and roll and romantic ballads, but today my generation listen urban music like reggaeton, but I think is horrible. In other way, my parents’ generation clothes style were similar to a formal clothing, and today we wear casual clothing that is more and more informal, there is also difference in the hairstyles because in the past they had long cut-hair and now teenagers have an extravagant cut-hair. About the values, in my opinion the respect in my parents’ generation was better than now because the parents were too strict with theirs kids, but now fewer and fewer parents’ consent to their children and for that reason their do whatever they want.

7. Reflection The English IV subject has been a very important subject throughout the academic period from September 2019 to February 2020 in the fourth semester of PedagogĂa de las Lenguas Nacionales y Extranjeras. In saying that it has been important, I want to refer to the content of the subject and the curriculum that has been applied to the teaching-learning model in the different units. Also, this subject had helped to me to improve my communicative competence through the development of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition, I already master the most common language grammar structures and lexical items that helped me to be able to read, listen, talk and write about different topics. In addition, the teacher has been an excellent guide in teaching this very necessary subject, he taught us interesting topics all related to the purpose of the book called Summit 1 that was used in this academic period, this book has a propose to produce clear and detailed texts based on a large number of topics and now I can give opinions on different topics with the grammar and vocabulary learned during this time. The objectives established in the syllabus have been met, which were: in general, produce clear and detailed texts based on a large number of topics and they will give opinions on different topics, according to the A2 + level of the Common European Framework. And the specifics that were to identify grammar structures, vocabulary and language functions to use in the description of various situations, to recognize major concepts and specific ideas in listening exercises like speeches, discussions, and video presentations to be able to interact with others, to analyze the literal and inferential meaning of different types of reading texts using a variety of reading strategies in order to synthesize information, to produce coherent and cohesive oral presentations to exchange ideas critically and constructively and to create formal and informal texts using different writing genres in order to express ideas in a coherent and cohesive way. In this way I have gained a lot of knowledge and I am satisfied at the end of this semester I have developed the competences corresponding to A2Level.
