Hello, AIESECer! I’m Michael Fua and I’m running for VP Communications of AIESEC UPD. This is a collection of some of my work experiences in AIESEC. I believe this could help you effectively get to know me better. Honestly, as someone passionate about Communications, I’ve been longing to express myself with something like this! However, I promise that this isn’t just a senseless campaign material with my face in every page (every other lang. Just kidding). In fact, I swear that I did my best to keep it as plain and as substantial as possible. I ask that you’ll forgive me if you find this very unnecessary or displeasing. Feel free to browse through the pages and get to know me a little better before you make your vote! By the time you finish, I only hope that you’ll have a clearer a idea of whom you’re voting as your next Vice President for Communications – regardless of whether it’s me or not! Thanks for your time. Enjoy my AIESEC experience!
Yours, Fua
merchandiseofficer Fua worked for me as a merchandising officer when he was still a new member. For a freshie, he had a lot of great ideas for the organization. One of his best projects was the UP dog tag fundraiser. He was a goal-oriented leader for he took charge of every detail of the project from the design making to the selling. I admire Fua because he is a responsible and dependable person; I have no trouble working with him. His passion for AIESEC remains the same from the time when he was still an applicant until now that he is already a team leader. Emma Ma単alac AVP for Communications External Relations SY 2009-2010
Logisticsstaff It was an awesome experience to have worked with Fua in Culminight 2010. He enjoyed his job, as clearly shown in the way he worked with the team – always positive and enthusiastic. I definitely think he was one of our most dedicated, ever-reliable and bibbo allaround staffer. Fua, it was great having you on board! Thank you. Nadine Eleazar OCP for Culminight SY 2009-2010
ocvpcreativesunleash Throughout the time I was able to work for Michael Fua, he has exhibited the necessary skills and dedication that I believe are necessary for the position. As the Organizing Vice President for Creatives of UNLEASH AP, he has shown his commitment to the organization, a profound understanding of the brand, and great competency as well as empathy when it comes to dealing with subordinates. Armed with his diligence, expertise and leadership skills; I honestly believe he can revolutionize not only the department but the whole organization as well. ocvpcreativesunleash Working under Mike Fua really opened my eyes to the world of AIESEC. As a new member, I was eager to start my career in AIESEC. Given my inexperience, Fua did a tremendous job showing me the ropes. Working with him, I didn’t feel like his subordinate or just like any other staff member. We worked side by side and he was very supportive from start to finish. All in all, I think this first experience served as a crucial stepping stone towards my growth in the organization. *Supervised only. Dexterity of Angelica Ramos.

avpbrandmanagement During my experience as an AVP for Recruitment, I had the chance to work with Fua as an AVP for Brand Management. And from that opportunity, I gained three main insights about Fua that defines him as an individual and a leader. First, his confidence lends him charisma and people skills that help him communicate with others and make them trust and believe him. Second, Fua is one of the most talented people I know; that combined with his excellent work ethic, makes him a team powerhouse. Last, Fua is an opportunist, in the best sense, and a visionary that he knows what he wants and knows exactly how and when he wants it accomplished. Working with him was a great experience, because he thinks creatively, he knows and snaps up an opportunity when he sees one, and he can persuade people to follow his lead. These leadership qualities evident in Fua make him someone I look forward to working with in the future. Joan Tiffany Hwang AVP for Recruitment Talent Management AY 2010 - 2011
avpbrandmanagement Throughout the semester that I have worked with Michael Fua, he has displayed characteristics that I believe are necessary to hold the said position. As Assistant Vice President for Management, he has shown an ardent dedication for AIESEC, a deep understanding of our brand and a strong concern for our members. With his creative vision, initiative and leadership, I strongly believe that he can take the department and ultimately the whole organization to greater heights in the coming year. Michelle Anne S. Molas VP for Communications SY 2010-2011 *excerpt from endorsement letter
avpbrandmanagement I have worked with Fua ever since I was a freshman. We were co-apps back then, and from the beginning I could see his passion for AIESEC. When it comes to AIESEC work, he is very dedicated and very passionate. He makes sure that the tasks he needs to do is not mediocre. When we became members, he became a staff for the Culminight organizing committee. But even if he was just a staff, he worked hard for Culminight. It was as if he was our co-officer. He was that dedicated. I think that his passion for AIESEC reached a new level when he became the AVP for Brand Management of Comm. Whenever I needed help with our event, he made sure that what our team did was always in line with the AIESEC Brand. He knows the AIESEC Brand by heart. He helped us with our pub materials and promotion. Now, he has stepped up to be the OCP of Culminight! I believe that he can succeed in everything he does. He has the passion, the skills and the dedication needed of every leader. Michael Fua has grown into a very responsible and competent AIESECer, a leader we should all be looking up to. avpbrandmanagement I have had the privilege of working with Michael Fua, or Fua as we all call him, last semester (1st semester AY 2010-2011) as his Publicity and Creatives Officer. He was my Assistant Vice President for Brand Management under the Communications Department of AIESEC. I can think of four words that perfectly describe Fua: reliable, dedicated, professional and innovative. He’s one guy I could always count on for work advice despite his busy schedule. Moreover, he is also one of the most active and dedicated members of the organization whom I’ve met during my three years in AIESEC. But more than someone whom I have worked with, Fua has proven to be a very kind and sincere friend who’s just a buzz or text away. Rax Lambino Creatives Officer Communications Department AY 2010 - 2011
ocpculminight This semester, I work under the organizing committee for Culminight in which I am working with 5 other OCVPs and with our OCP, Michael Fua. As our team leader, Fua is definitely an effective OCP. He makes sure that everyone is doing their job and at the same time he is able to give constructive criticisms. He sets high but attainable goals that keep the team alive. I can say that he is strict, but in a good and productive way. Another good thing about working with him is that he was able to produce harmony within our team which enables us to work efficiently. It is important for a leader to have a vision and the capability to put it into action. Justine Bette Parrone OCVP Logistics for Culminight SY 2010 - 2011
