PROJEC T TACO BILL BR AND M ARKE TING PROJEC T BRIEF Taco Bill are keen on attacking the competition. So what we needed to do is produce some ideas, some collateral, that we can use across social media, poking fun at Taco Bills direct rivals. An example I was given to tackle was MadMex, they have a burrito challenge but its ONLY 1KG. The Taco Bill Big Willy is 2KG so I poked fun at the difference and then listed some stats about the Big Willy (namely the weight, but I made up some funny things, too - eg “it takes 6 days to prepare / 7 kitchen hands / two people are on call etc) So I did some research around what the opposition is doing, found things that Taco Bill do equally well, or better, and then transformed this into facebook posts. So I had to find imagery that might make people laugh, or use the images we had to get the message across. The first poster was to create awareness of the Big Willy challenge and to show people a destination to find out more about it. The Second Poster was to kind of entice risk takers and show how much of a challenge the Big Willy really is with this use of milk and so on when eating hot food. The third poster was more to create something that would make people laugh and give them something to talk about on social media. Taco Bill gave us full creative freedom at Duke. The fourth items are flyers to be used in all Taco Bill restaurants and on facebook, in which was to show people attending the Big Willi challenge what they will experiencing at the party. It was intended for people over 18 and I was asked to come up with all the content including the catch phrases. it had to be witty and fun. The Fifth items were Hot sauce label designs for the new Taco Bill chain that they are secretly creating, El Gordos. I was tasked to come up with some witty hot sauce names and then with the names come up with some illustrations that match the names. Duke were very impressed with the illustrations created for they matched the whole style and theme.

At Duke we made an animation for BetterBills.com, It was the start of a new direction for the brand. Simple, bold, colourful, mainly vectors and cute characters.

The style we went for - big, bold, colourful. From the animation. I had to take some points out from the video.

https://vimeo.com/95251322 So from this, they requested a heap of new collateral that they can start putting out online to seed the new brand. So we I had to make all there web banner ads, facebook posts, and a couple of various flyer sizes - DL’s.

For example: “BetterBills is Better Than Free” Or: “We’re independent, and any commission made is split with you, 50/50” Some of the banners are shown to the right and on the next page as just the interface.

PROJEC T THE PRINTED SHADE CLOTH COMPANY BROCHURE & CLIENT WORK PROJEC T BRIEF At the Printed Shade Cloth Company I’m involved with many big and small clients. Some of those clients range from giant construction companies such as Brookfield Multiplex, Maben Group, ADCO and so on. To Australia wide events such as the Grand Prix in Melbourne, The Royal Croquet Club, The Australian Shakespeare Company etc. To the right from top to bottom are some examples of my current clients and the banners I have created for them. 1. The Australian Shakespeare Company: The Brief was to create a banner for Shakespeare under the Stars which was situated in the Botanical Gardens in St Kilda. This brief went for about 6 Months in which I dealt with start to finish in all aspects. 2. MIC Projects: The Brief was to create a series of 50m banners which could be situated on hoarding boards or temporary fencing. MIC Projects are one of the biggest shop and store builders in Victoria, their clients vary from Grill’d to Strike bowling Bars. This brief was under my wing from start to finish. 3. FORME. HOMES: The clients brief for these banners was to create something the resonated on all fronts with their current design specs and theme. With this I was given a strict guideline to follow in the design process detailed via their style guide. I worked on this project solely from start to finish. 4. Brookfield Muiltiplex: Brookefield Multiplex is a huge client for us and was one of my first major clients I won for the company. I have been dealing with their design work since the start of 2016 and continue to liaise/work with them. I have gained a very healthy relationship with this client to the point that we are soon creating their work Australia Wide. Below you will find a link to the Printed Shade Cloth Brochure in which I created for the company. I was tasked to create this solely and rejuvenate our creative reflection through the brochure. The brochure was intended to be very colourful and show our creative flare to our current and future clients.

PROJEC T ONPOINT PLUMBING BROCHURE PROJEC T BRIEF This brief was to create a 2-4 page service brochure for a client called Onpoint Plumbing. The aim was to develop something new and something that would stand out. I was tasked with full creative freedom. The brief was also aimed to stay in tune with plumbing, to be new but not to drift far apart from it. Note: I have designed everything for the company from the ground up. They are one of my long standing freelance clients.

The Brief was to re-brand and design two book cover’s of your choosing. I choose to re-brand Geroge Orwell’s Animal Farm and 1984.

The Design Method for both was to make sure they looked like they came in a set. My design style was to go very simplistic and I choose to create a vocal point in each image which was to create an image within an image.

Within Animal farm you can see if you look carefully the outline of the pigs snout within the branches of the tree’s and also the pigs eye represented as the moon.

Within 1984 you can see if you look carefully the image of a man’s facial features depicted in a city scape and the man’s mouth depicted as a blimp.
