INTRODUCTION OUR GUIDELINES These guidelines describe the visual and verbal elements that represent The Printed Shade Cloth Company brand identity. This includes our name, logo and other elements such as colour type and graphics. Sending a consistent and controlled message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong and unified image of our company. This document reflects our commitment to quality, consistency and overall faith in our brand.

THE LOGO Simple, concise and straight forward keywords that reflect how we operate at The Printed Shade Cloth Company. As leading providers of printing solutions to a vast array of company’s, our primary objective is to manage their printing collateral with confidence, accuracy and attention to detail. Opting for a minimalistic and timeless aesthetic, the logo was designed to sustain and live through a world of constant change. With its block-type features, the logo combines both tradition and modernism with experience and reliability.
CLEARSPACE AND COMPOSITION / THE BRAND MARK
CLEARANCE SPACE It’s important to keep the logo clear of any other graphic elements. To regulate this, an exclusion zone has been established around the corporate mark. The exclusion zone indicates the closest any other graphic element or message can be postioned in relations to the logo.
COMPUTATION To work out the clearance space, use the “C” as a reference.

The Printed Shade Cloth Company uses two primary colours: Black and White. Consistent use of these primary colours will contribute to the cohesive and harmonious look of the brand identity across all relevant media and documentation.

TYPO GRAPHY THE COMPANY TYPEFACE To ensure a consistant appearance of communications, the management of typography is essential and must be uniform. Typographic hierarchy presents lettering so that the most imporant words are displayed with the most impact, so that users can scan text for key information.

OUR VISUAL STYLE Our own “Visual Style” is an imporant aspect of conveying our unique identity to our clients. This element is crucial in achieving a consistent look throughout our documentation and website.
