A Delightful Recipe for Stir Fry Stir frying has made household cooking very simple, fast and delicious. The basics of stir frying which are now very popular in cookery sites in the internet are made simple and has help so many homes in the globe today. Busy people who work all week for a living have several alternatives to take-outs, by simply stir frying dinner at home. Recipes for stir fry cooking are everywhere. They are found in cook books in bookstores, and cookery sires in the internet. All recipes promise a delicious meal for the family. The method is a very short way of throwing meat and vegetables on a wok at very high flame to sear the meat and soften the veggies instantly. The sauce is later mixed to the ingredients to provide the choice of flavors the cook desires. These flavors would hint saltiness, sweetness, sourness or even spiciness in them. These combinations provide the perfect flavors for stir fries that everyone have traditionally acquired through the years. Generally, we grew up in the house accustomed to stir fry cooking by our mom. She always stir fry our lunch and dinners, and we always love them. Little did we know during those days that stir frying did save time and fuel consumption. After cooking though, everything will be cleaned in just a few minutes. We always admire mom to be very effective and efficient in the kitchen having done these in just a few minutes. But today, we understood, it is really the secrets of stir frying. Here is a recipe for stir frying that you can start with for your kitchen adventures. THE BEEF ON SCALLIONS STIR FRY: WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 tablespoon cornstarch Coarse salt 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, please add more if you desire when serving 2 tablespoons canola oil or vegetable oil, please divide 1 1/4 pounds flank steak, please cut across the grain into bit size strips 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 scallions, please slice and keep white and green parts separated White rice, for serving

HOW TO MAKE IT: • Start by preparing your sauce. Combine in a small mixing bowl three fourth cup of water plus the vinegar, the cornstarch, hoisin sauce, 3/4 teaspoon salt and the 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Stir until it is smooth. Reserve. • Begin frying by heating a wok or large skillet over high flame on your American stove. Add one tablespoon of and wait till it is hot. • When it starts to smoke, stir fry the beef in two batches, by cooking the beef 30 seconds on each side till browned. Turn once and repeat procedure with the remaining batch until all the beef is cooked. Transfer to a plate and reserve. • Then reheat the wok and add the remaining oil to pan. Throw in the garlic and the whites of the scallions. Stir until fragrant for about a minute. • Pour the hoisin mixture to combine with the garlic and the whites of the scallions and add in the scallion greens. • Add back the beef to the pan and toss and stir to coat the beef with the sauce for another minute. • Serve this recipe for stir fry while hot and pair it with steamed rice. Add more pepper flakes if desired.
