TRI-COUNTY MARKET INSIGHTS
• While inventory steadily climbed throughout 2022, from a 0.8-month to 2-month supply for single-family homes and 0.8 to 1.6-month supply for condominiums, it remained in a seller’s market for the year (less than 3 months of inventory).
• Active listings surged, with single-family homes for sale climbing nearly 100% and condominiums increasing 22% for the year.
• Fewer homes were sold in 2022, with single-family sales falling 20% and condominium sales dropping 27%; pending sales in both categories also went down.
• While average days on market decreased by 12% for single-family homes and 29% for condominiums for the year, there was an upward trend in days on market during the second half of 2022.
