onvergence is Michener’s annual education conference that explores the intersection of care, research and education. It is at this point of convergence that we believe we can create and share knowledge and practices that benefit patients, families, clinicians, scholars and learners. Sponsored by the Continuing Education at Michener, and UHN’s Clinical Education portfolios, the Convergence Conference brings the health care education community together to share ideas, best practices, and to have critical conversations on the future of teaching and learning in the health professions. In addition to community building, this now annual conference has explored various themes, including how societies, systems, and issues of equity and diversity impact how education is created and delivered across the continuum on entry-to-practice learning and professional development.
