Final project
FABLAB A Coruña
The FabLab is located in the center of the quarter of A Pescadería, in A Coruña. TheW project points are: square, crack, clutter and skin.
Square: From the beginning the project were understood from an urban perspective, looking for the participation of the building in the neighbourhood life. A square is generated in the ground floor, creating the link between the FabLab and the city.
Crack: In order to strengthen the square’s space and to improve the conditions that the narrow alley Cordelería the mass of the building is broken by the crack. This crack separate the top volumes and assemble the parts as a whole.
Clutter: The installations are an essential part in the proper functioning of any contemporary building, even more in a FabLab. Consequently a dialog is created between the flat and continuous concrete pavement and the systems of air, electricity and lightning channeling in the ceiling.
Skin: Finally, the project materiality is conceived as three materials: concrete, glass and metal. The combination of a double glazed skin and a surface of perforated metal creates an ambiguous bond with the outside, letting the light cross but blurring the visual relationship, thus allowing privacy but drawing the attention of the passersby.

Gallery and Workshop A Coruña
Rehabilitation of a residential building of the nineteenth century in the center of A Coruña as an art gallery and workshop. The project is the restoration of a building, maintaining the typological characteristics of the housing of the quarter of A Pescadería in A Coruña: the lateral walls from the medieval plots hold the wooden beams that sustain the secondary structure.

3 Residential Towers MiĂąo
The project revolves around a first structural ring with comunications and insallations, complemented with a second structural ring, both in armed concrete. The volumes of housing are planned with community spaces in certain floors, as well as an perimeter balcony, that connect the flats with the outside. The houses are made with constant width, allowing that the same tower contains different floor sizes without altering the transverse dimension.

A Coruña The intervention in the Garden City neighborhood of Coruña is posed as an exercise in three parts: lateral walls, urban space and sculptural intervention. Due to changes in planning regulations, dividing walls abound in Coruña. In order to conceal them, a pictorial treatment, by meand of twentieth century Galician paintings is proposed. Nature interpretation centre As Pontes (A CoruĂąa)
The project is a research centre for nature interpretation, relating to the new environment of As Pontes due to the conversion of an open-pit mine into an artificial lake and its dump into a green space for biodiversity recovery plans. The building is arranged around a cloister, which seeks to create a quiet interior space and permit the separatin of residents and visitors. The constructive solution of metal frame on concrete slab and precast panels seekd speed and efficiency in construction as well as the ability to facilitate possible extensions.
