A VERY BRIEF HISTORY Mr. Vojko Podgornik established the MIKRO+POLO company in Maribor (Slovenia) in 1990. In just a few years, with an innovative approach and the high quality of our products and services, we have become (and remained) Slovenia’s largest supplier of laboratory equipment, accessories, chemicals and diagnostics. 90 employees in Maribor and 10 employees in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) are taking care of satisfied customers.

DIE KURZE ÜBERSICHT DER GESCHICHTE Hr. Vojko Podgornik hat die Gesellschaft MIKRO+POLO in Maribor (Slowenien) 1990 gegründet. In nur wenigen Jahren wurden (und blieben) wir mit dem innovativen Ansatz und der hohen Qualität unserer Produkte und Dienstleistungen zum größten Zulieferer von Laboreinrichtung, Zubehör, Chemikalien und Diagnostika. 90 Mitarbeiter in Maribor und 10 Mitarbeiter in Sarajevo (Bosnien und Herzegowina) sorgen für zufriedene Kunden.

THE BEGINNINGS OF FURNITURE Two years after the establishment, Mr. Vasja Matjašič, an employee, put forward an initiative for the company to manufacture its own laboratory furniture. The beginnings were humble, as we were self-taught in this field. We looked for knowledge wherever we could, gaining experience with each project assignment. Since we lacked self-confidence in the beginning, over time we proved to ourselves, as well as to our customers, that we are a capable and dependable partner with a long-term vision. Today we have vast expertise and technical knowledge. If we add to that the wealth of experience and the almost unlimited number of new ideas, we will seek solutions for impossible challenges as well. We are glad that with our furniture we can satisfy a customer who is that demanding. So far, we have equipped over 500 laboratories of various purposes, levels of demands and sizes. Our references include chemical laboratories, microbiological laboratories in the health care system, control laboratories in the industry and huge research laboratories in institutes. Customers who work with our furniture for years get back to us. We are proud that they are satisfied with our products and that they choose us again to equip a new or renovate a run-down laboratory.

DIE ANFÄNGE DER EINRICHTUNG Zwei Jahre nach der Gründung reichte Hr. Vasja Matjašič, ein Mitarbeiter, die Initiative ein, die Gesellschaft solle ihre eigene Laboreinrichtung herstellen. Die Anfänge waren bescheiden, da wir in diesem Bereich Autodidakten waren. Wir haben das Wissen gesucht, wo wir konnten und haben mit jedem Projektauftrag Erfahrungen gewonnen. Da wir am Anfang einen Mangel an Selbstvertrauen hatten, haben wir uns und auch unseren Kunden mit der Zeit bewiesen, dass wir ein fähiger und zuverlässiger Partner mit einer langfristigen Vision sind. Heute haben wir ein weitreichendes fachliches und technisches Wissen. Fügen wir dem den Reichtum an Erfahrung und die fast unbegrenzte Anzahl neuer Ideen hinzu, werden wir auch Lösungen für unmögliche Herausforderungen suchen. Wir sind froh, dass wir mit unserer Einrichtung den sehr anspruchsvollen Kunden zufriedenstellen können. Bisher haben wir über 500 Labors für verschiedene Zwecke, Anforderungsniveaus und Größen eingerichtet. Unsere Referenzen schließen chemische Labors, mikrobiologische Labors im Gesundheitswesen, Kontrolllabors in der Industrie und große Forschungslabors in Instituten ein. Die Kunden, die Jahre lang mit unserer Einrichtung arbeiten, kommen auf uns zurück. Wir sind stolz, dass sie mit unseren Produkten zufrieden sind und dass sie uns wieder auswählen, Ihr Labor neu zu gestalten oder ein abgenutztes Labor neu zu renovieren.

TIME TO MOVE FORWARD After 23 years, the above brought a time for new challenges. A time for exports. May the rest of the world, too, learn of us. To break into foreign markets more easily, we decided to introduce a new brand of laboratory furniture. We are starting out as a new player in a new market. We want what we do to be clear to the customer at the first contact with our company. As an almost logical consequence of the set objective, the LAB INTERIOR brand was born. We chose Munich, Germany as the seat of our daughter company and established the company LAB INTERIOR GmbH there. Production remains in Slovenia at our company LAB INTERIOR d.o.o, which is based in Maribor and is home to knowledge, experience, proven suppliers and a working team that works from the heart.

ZEIT ZUM WEITERGEHEN Nach 23 Jahren brachte das Vergangene eine Zeit neuer Herausforderungen. Eine Zeit für Exporte. Möge der Rest der Welt auch von uns erfahren. Um leichter in einen fremden Markt einzutreten, haben wir uns entschieden, eine neue Laboreinrichtungsmarke einzuführen. Wir beginnen als neuer Mitspieler auf einem neuen Markt. Wir möchten, dass den Kunden beim Erstkontakt mit unserer Gesellschaft klar ist, was wir tun. Als logischste Konsequenz des gesetzten Ziels wurde die Marke LAB INTERIOR geboren. Wir wählten München, Deutschland, als Sitz unserer Tochtergesellschaft und gründeten dort die Gesellschaft LAB INTERIOR GmbH. Die Produktion bleibt in Slowenien bei unserer Gesellschaft LAB INTERIOR d.o.o, die ihre Basis in Maribor hat und das Heim des Wissens, der Erfahrung, der bewährten Zulieferer und des Arbeitsteams, das von Herzen arbeitet, ist.

Our furniture also comes in classic white, but you may forget about classic colors and choose from among twelve colors of decorative batten and handle accessories. Also, here is a hint to all of you who get tired of furniture quickly: replace handles and battens with some in a different color and, with a minimal investment, you may be delighted by what will practically be new furniture.

A SATISFIED USER To maximise work satisfaction in our (your) new laboratory, you may also choose practical and useful accessories. Small things that make your work more orderly or ensure better organisation and greater work satisfaction.

Into the service spines we have also built economical LED lamps in order to maximise the lighting of the work surface - the worktops. You can get rid of desktop lamps and the clutter of cables on the laboratory worktop.

Choose locking drawers and/or cabinets equipped with dial locks. That way, you can forget about having countless different keys. Make locking simpler by using a single code for all built-in locks, or make life more difficult for your employees by setting separate codes for each lock. In addition to locking with a code, our numerical locks also allow for standard locking and unlocking with a key.

You have a keyboard and a monitor on your worktop, or even more such items? Secure your computer equipment and place it onto a special, dedicated stand, integrated into a service spine. This accessory will increase space on your desktop, while reducing the risk of hazardous liquids potentially being spilt over the monitor or the keyboard.

Machen Sie das Abschließen einfacher, indem Sie einen einzigen Code für alle eingebauten Schlösser verwenden, oder machen Sie Ihren Mitarbeitern das Leben schwerer, indem Sie getrennte Codes für jedes Schloss einstellen. The design of service modules guarantees separate space for installations on one side and quick access to them on the other side. An independent service module system offers you a variety of options when planning your laboratory furniture. A service module system is composed of two vertical aluminium uprights and metal, high quality epoxy-painted steel panels. A wide range of additional equipment such as a triangular electrical trunk, integrated LED lighting, monitor arm etc. make your everyday work in your laboratory a lot more pleasant and easier. WALL BENCH SERVICE SPINE SYSTEM A wall bench service spine system is an independent system that supplies your laboratory wall bench workspace with several different media through supply pipes. A service connection system with optional quick release couplings and easy access to all installations makes it easy to maintain, change or upgrade. A closed or open system can be supplied, all according to your demands. 135 mm wide vertical aluminium uprights create an installation area behind the working space and provide enough space for all your installations. Each vertical aluminium upright is equipped with levelling legs to adapt to uneven floor and closed with a plastic cap on top. Integrated grooves in aluminium uprights are used for mounting of reagent shelves or other accessories. Grooves are closed with plastic insert in front, worktop area to prevent spillage of chemicals through the grooves to the floor. All panels are made of metal, epoxy painted, resistant to corrosion and removable and interchangeable to enable easy maintenance and service work or reorganisation of supply outlets. A unique solution is available for you in the form of a write and wipe panel in the magnetic version. In this case it is possible to use a special pen for writing directly on panels, with no effort to clean them again. The metal magnetic system adds another level to flexibility. You can easily fix and relocate most of your accessories to adapt to new conditions. An integrated mounting rail, available with a closed service spine system, offers a quick fastening solution for several types of accessories. A mounting rail can be closed with a cover in a case it is not needed.

SUSPENDED SERVICE SPINE SYSTEM A suspended service spine system is applicable and reasonable in all areas where there is no contact between a media supply system with a floor planned. A suspended service spine system is mounted to a concrete ceiling with special ceiling columns. Electric installation and other media supply pipes are led through the columns and through the whole length of the suspended service spine. The space inside the suspended service spine is divided into several chambers that are a barrier that separates all non-compatible installations. In an upper part there is free space with a lid that hides all technical exhaust pipes that can be used with local exhaust systems. Each suspended service spine system module is closed with caps at both ends. An easy and aesthetic solution for your safety and ergonomics. An easy fastening system for all supply pipes is integrated in the installation space of each suspended service spine. That makes it a lot easier for your installation team to keep all supply pipes organised inside the space provided for installations. MEDIENAMPELSYSTEM Das Medienampelsystem ist in allen Bereichen anwendbar und vernünftig, wo kein Bodenkontakt des Medienzellensystems geplant ist. Das Medienampelsystem wird mit Spezialdeckensäulen an die Betondecke montiert. Die Installation der Strom- und anderen Medienzellenleitungen laufen durch die Säulen und durch die Gesamtlänge der Medienampel. Der Raum innerhalb der Medienampel wird in verschiedene Innenräume geteilt, die eine Barriere sind, die alle nicht kompatiblen Installationen trennt. Im oberen Teil befindet sich ein freier Raum mit einem Deckel, der alle technischen Abzugsleitungen, die mit den lokalen Abzugssystemen benutzt werden können, verbirgt. REAGENT SHELVES Reagent shelves are mainly used for safe storage of minor quantities of reagents at the workplace. There are two main materials that you can choose from for your reagent shelves: ď Ź Safety glass reagent shelves. ď Ź Phenolic laminate reagent shelves. Shelves are fitted to vertical aluminium uprights with brackets that are mounted inside grooves. The mounting system makes it easy to change the height position of lower and upper shelf for full adaptability. As an add-on a protective rail for mounting on reagent shelves can be ordered to prevent stored parts from dropping off the shelf and to prevent accidents.

REAGENZ-ABLAGE MIT ODER OHNE SCHUTZRAND Reagenz-Ablagen mit oder ohne Schutzrand werden hauptsächlich für das sichere Lagern geringer Mengen an Reagenzien am Arbeitsplatz benutzt. Es gibt zwei Hauptmaterialien, unter denen Sie für Ihre Reagenz-Ablagen mit oder ohne Schutzrand wählen können:  Sicherheitsglasreagenz-Ablagen.  Vollkernreagenz-Ablagen.

Die Ablagen werden mit Klammern, die innerhalb der Rillen montiert sind, an die vertikalen Aluminiumpfosten angepasst. Das Montagesystem macht es leicht, die Höhenposition der unteren und oberen Ablage für die volle Anpassungsfähigkeit zu ändern. Als Zusatz kann eine auf die Reagenz-Ablagen zu montierende Schutzschiene, die das Stürzen der gelagerten Teile von der Ablage verhindert und Unfälle vermeidet, bestellt werden.

FRAMES AND MOBILE BENCHES High load bearing C type and H type frames are used as a worktop support. Each frame is equipped with levelling legs that make it easy to level uneven floor. Al frames and mobile benches are welded to withstand high bearing loads, painted with epoxy colors for protection against chemical spills and corrosion. Welding joints are easily cleanable and made with precision to avoid any possible contamination.

TISCHGESTELLE Die Tischgestelle der Typen C und H werden als Arbeitsplattenunterstützung benutzt. Jedes Tischgestell ist mit höhenverstellbaren Füßen, die es vereinfachen, den unebenen Boden auszugleichen, ausgestattet. C-FRAME SYSTEM A universal type C-frame can be used with all furniture systems, plinth, suspended and on castors. C frames are available in two standard versions, for laboratory benches with a height of 750 mm and for laboratory benches of 900 mm height. The system is intended to be combined with the fully compatible LAB INTERIOR service spine system. A basic C frame is composed of two C shaped legs, made of metal profiles, 60x40 mm in size and horizontal square metal connecting rods. An add-on frame is composed of a single C shaped leg and horizontal square metal connecting rods. All metal horizontal connecting parts (connectors) are coated with high quality epoxy paint.

C-FUSS-TISCHGESTELLSYSTEM Das Universaltischgestell des Typs C kann mit allen Möbel-/ Einrichtungssystemen, mit Sockel, eingehängt und auf Rollen benutzt werden. The system can be reinforced or adapted for heavier load bearings. The system is intended to be combined with the fully compatible LAB INTERIOR service module system. The frame is made of metal profiles sized 60x40 mm in combination with square-shaped profiles sized 40x40 mm.

BALANCE BENCH A special frame for a balance bench helps to ensure the accuracy of measuring process. Each frame has built-in shock absorbing pads to prevent vibrations from being transferred to the worktop. A granite worktop in the central position of the worktop is installed for placing a measuring device and has standard outer dimensions of 450x450 mm. The worktop surrounding the granite slab can be chosen from among a standard palette of worktops, listed in the worktops section. An electro turret can be built into the balance bench worktop, offering two electric outlets for easy connection of electronic measuring devices.

WÄGETISCH Ein besonderes Tischgestell für den Wägetisch hilft dabei, die Genauigkeit der Messungsprozesse sicherzustellen. UNDERBENCH CABINETS ON PLINTH

Underbench unit on plinth is the standard and most frequently used system in a laboratory. As the most fixed of all systems, it is suitable for laboratories that face few and minor changes during their lifetime. Underbench cabinets can be used to support worktops, without the need to use C or H-type C frames, with the exception of ceramic and epoxy tops because of their weight. Each underbench unit is fitted with levelling legs, closed with an epoxy-painted aluminium pedestal. Maximum load: 30 kg per shelf, 40 kg per drawer or in case of worktop loads, exceeding 50 kg per running meter.

UNTERBAUTEN AUF EINEM SOCKEL

Unterbaueinheiten auf einem Sockel sind das Standard- und meistverwendete System im Labor. Das meistfixierte aller Systeme ist für Labore, die in ihrer Lebenszeit wenige und geringfügige Änderungen begegnen, geeignet. Die Unterbauten können benutzt werden, um die Arbeitsplatten zu unterstützen, ohne den Bedarf der Benutzung von C-Rahmen des Typs C oder H, mit Ausnahme der Keramik- und Epoxidharzoberflächen wegen des Gewichts dieser. UNDERBENCH CABINETS ON CASTORS

Underbench units on castors are fully mobile. Therefore the configuration can be changed easily, according to your present needs. Each mobile unit is fitted with a melamine or phenol-laminate top, with an integrated handle mounted underneath for easier handling. High quality castors with a double running surface, ABS side discs and max. load of 80 kg per wheel are standard equipment of each mobile unit. Two front castors are fitted with a brake. Running material can be plastic or rubber, adapted to specific type of laboratory flooring. Maximum load: 30 kg per shelf, 30 kg per top, 40 kg per drawer.

UNTERBAUTEN AUF ROLLEN

Die Unterbauten auf Rollen sind vollkommen mobil. Deshalb kann die Konfiguration entsprechend Ihren gegenwärtigen Bedürfnissen leicht geändert werden. Jede mobile Einheit wird mit einem Melamin- oder Vollkern-Überzug mit integrierten Griffen für die leichtere Handhabung angepasst. Die Hochqualitätsrollen mit einer Doppellauffläche, ABS-Seitenscheiben und der Maximalbelastung von 80 kg je Rad sind die Standardeinrichtung jeder mobilen Einheit. Die beiden vorderen Rollen sind mit Bremsen ausgestattet. Das Laufmaterial kann aus Plastik oder Gummi sein, entsprechend dem spezifischen Typ des Laborbodenbelags. Maximalbelastung: 30 kg Belastung je Fachboden, 30 kg Belastung je Top, 40 kg Belastung je Schublade.

SUSPENDED UNDERBENCH CABINETS

A suspended system is applicable where no contact between underbench units with the floor is preferred. Each cabinet is mounted to a C-type or H-type frame. A sliding version is available upon request. Under underbench units there is 180 mm of free space that makes the floor cleaning process a lot easier. Maximum load: 30 kg per shelf, 40 kg per drawer.

EINGEHÄNGTER UNTERBAU

Das System des eingehängten Unterbaus ist anwendbar, wo der Kontakt der Unterbauten mit dem Boden unerwünscht ist. Jeder Unterbau wird an einen Rahmen des Typs C oder H montiert. Auf Verlangen ist eine Gleitversion verfügbar. Unterhalb der Unterbauten befindet sich ein Freiraum von 240 mm, der den Bodenreinigungsprozess viel leichter macht. WALL AND SERVICE SPINE-MOUNTED CABINETS You can choose between wall- or service spine-mounted cabinets. Cabinets can be ordered with glass, blind doors or without doors. Safety glass with a thickness of 5 mm is used in case of glass doors. It is fixed between melamine coated chipboard blocks on each side. Each cabinet is fitted with a single height adjustable shelf as standard. Additional shelves can be supplied upon request.

SERVICE SPINE-MOUNTED CABINETS Service spine-mounted cabinets are fixed to LAB INTERIOR vertical aluminium service spine system uprights. Easy and wall independent installation are the main advantages of service spine-mounted cabinets.

CABINETS FOR STORAGE OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (ACID/ALKALI CABINETS) Hazardous substances can be safely stored in ventilated acid/alkali cabinets. Cabinets are available in two versions, as underbench or tall units. Separate lockable compartments are dividing storage of acids and alkalis. An interior with double back and several integrated ventilation grids creates evenly distributed airflow through the whole cabinet interior. The lower compartment is fitted with three and the upper one with three pull-out polypropylene shelves. Each shelf can be easily dismounted for cleaning. The underbench versions are fitted with a single polypropylene pull-out tray per compartment. The number of polypropylene trays can be adapted to your needs.

CABINETS FOR HIGHLY CORROSIVE SUBSTANCES

All cabinets for highly corrosive substances are intended for safe storage, without any risk of corrosion. All installed parts are corrosion-proof, the interior is entirely made of polypropylene. Each cabinet has two separate lockable compartments. An interior with double back and several integrated ventilation grids creates evenly distributed airflow through the whole cabinet interior. Each cabinet is fitted with 6 polypropylene trays and with slides entirely made of same material. The locking mechanism is separated from the storage compartment and protected against corrosion. The tall cabinet version is fitted with three, easily removable polypropylene pullout trays in the lower and upper compartments. The underbench versions are fitted with a single polypropylene pull-out tray per compartment. The number of polypropylene trays can be adapted to your needs.

SAFETY CABINETS

All cabinets for storage of flammables are built according to the European standard EN 14470-1 that guarantees professional and safe storage of hazardous flammable materials. They are divided into the (following main categories): 

Tall storage cabinets for flammables. Underbench cabinets for flammables.  Waste disposal cabinets for flammables. 

Tall storage cabinets for flammables are always equipped with a locking mechanism, door open arrest system, ventilation connection. Two versions are available, with standard or folding doors. Upon request, interior equipment, such as pull-out shelves, height adjustable shelves or bottom collecting sump, can be supplied in stainless steel. Underbench cabinets for storage of flammables can be perfectly integrated into the LAB INTERIOR furniture system. They can be placed either under worktops or under fume hoods with the same variety of equipment options as with the tall cabinets.

Waste disposal cabinets for flammables are the perfect solution for safe collection of solvents inside your laboratory. Containers inside the fireproof cabinet are made of solvent resistant material, with a funnel on top that is connected directly to the funnel in the worktop. A mechanical and electric level indicator is integrated to provide information when the containers are full and must be emptied. The cabinet is built according to European regulations and fulfils the requirements of a standard EN 14470-1. Only a part of safety cabinets that can be supplied is shown in the table as a sample. Es sind zwei Versionen mit Standardund Falttüren verfügbar. Auf Verlangen kann die Inneneinrichtung, wie Auszüge, höhenverstellbare Fachböden oder eine Auffangwanne, in Edelstahl geliefert werden. Die Schränke zur Aufbewahrung von brennbaren Stoffen kann perfekt ins LAB INTERIOR-Einrichtungssystem integriert werden. Sie können entweder unterhalb der Arbeitsplatten oder unterhalb der Laborabzüge mit derselben Vielfalt an Einrichtungsoptionen wie mit den Hochschränken angebracht werden. Der Entsorgungsschrank für brennbare Stoffe ist die perfekte Lösung für die sichere Sammlung der Lösungsmittel in Ihrem Labor. Die Behälter innerhalb des feuerfesten Schranks sind aus lösungsmittelfestem Material mit einem Trichter oben, der direkt mit dem Trichter in der Arbeitsplatte verbunden ist, gemacht. Eine mechanische und elektrische Füllstandanzeige ist zur Information, wann die Behälter voll sind und geleert werden müssen, integriert. Der Schrank ist nach den europäischen Regelungen gebaut und erfüllt die Anforderungen des Standards EN 14470-1. GAS CYLINDER STORAGE CABINETS

It is permitted to store gas cylinders in laboratories, but in cabinets that are certified according to EN 14470-2. They are all fitted with standard equipment, such as cylinder retainers with matching tension belts, loading ramp and mounting rails. The large interior size of 1858 mm makes the installation of cylinders easy. Each cabinet has a certified fire resistance class of 90 minutes.

GASFLASCHENSCHRÄNKE

Es ist erlaubt, in Labors Gasflaschen aufzubewahren, aber in Schränken, die nach dem EN 14470-2 zertifiziert sind. Ventilated pull-out cabinets are a convenient way to store minor, especially pharmaceutical substances in original minor packages. A pull-out system enables you to see the complete storage interior at once. The cabinet can be used for storage of liquid and solid substances. The column is visible from both sides when pulled out. All trays are made of polypropylene and can be repositioned or easily removed. Each cabinet must be fixed to the wall to secure it against tipping over.

BENCH-MOUNTED FUME HOODS Bench-mounted type LAB INTERIOR laboratory fume hoods are intended for most types of work applications in your laboratory. You can choose from among several interior lining materials that ensure durability and maximum resistance to the chemicals used: 

Melamine (standard protection, low resistance, for non-aggressive chemicals). Phenolic laminate (mid level of chemical protection).  Resinline (high level of chemical protection).  Polypropylene (high level of chemical protection, resistant to most chemicals).  Ceramic (high level of chemical protection, resistant to most chemicals). 

All fume hood worktops fume hoods are supplied with marine edges. Each fume hood is constructed with double walls, forming two vertical columns above the worktop area that are prepared for mounting of factory prepared installations. Both vertical columns are made of aluminium that is protected against corrosion. An aluminium cover forming a part of installation column can be removed for easy access to installations. Bench-type fume hoods are not suitable for use with radioactive isotopes or for microbiology work, such as work with microorganisms.

Folgende Materialien können für Arbeitsplatten verwendet werden:  Polypropylen.  Vollkern. 

Alle Laborabzugsarbeitsplatten werden mit einem Wulstrand geliefert. Jeder Laborabzug ist mit Doppelwänden konstruiert, die zwei vertikale Säulen über dem Arbeitsplattenbereich, die für die Montage der werksgefertigten Installationen vorbereitet sind, bilden. Beide vertikale Säulen sind aus Aluminium, das gegen Korrosion geschützt ist. Die Aluminiumabdeckung, die einen Teil der Installationssäule bildet, kann für den leichteren Zugang zu den Installationen entfernt werden. Die Arbeitstisch-Laborabzugstypen sind nicht für die Benutzung mit radioaktiven Isotopen oder die mikrobiologische Arbeit, wie die Arbeit mit Mikroorganismen, geeignet.

MOVABLE EXTRACTION ARMS Movable extraction arms are the most flexible way to exhaust fumes in a specific area that is limited by extraction arm range. A several types of material can be chosen for the exhaust pipes. Joints are made of polypropylene with an interior part of stainless steel, acid proof, AISI 316L. A damper is built inside the first pipe for easy airflow regulation. All joints are maintenance free.

BEWEGLICHE ABSAUGARME Bewegliche Absaugarme sind die flexibelste Weg, um Rauch in einem bestimmten Bereich, die durch Extraktion arm Bereich begrenzt ist erschöpft. Eine verschiedene Arten von Material für Auspuffrohre gewählt werden. Gelenke sind aus Polypropylen mit Innenteil aus Edelstahl, säurebeständig, AISI 316L. HOODS Hoods are a standard solution for exhaust of fumes on a non-changeable location. They are mostly placed above ovens or similar equipment. A built-in damper makes it easy for your installation team to calibrate the airflow and to adapt it to the correct value.

AAS EXHAUST SYSTEM The AAS exhaust system is specially developed to take care of polluted air fumes at high temperatures above the atomic absorption unit. All parts that are in direct contact with fumes are made of stainless steel AISI 316L. The telescopic system makes it possible to adjust the distance between the hood and the AAS flame.
