There is danger in the misuse of power. Some of the counter-balances in the Constitutional system which the Founding Fathers erected, have been let to decompose. One outstanding neglect is in the mismanagement of the organized militia, and the proper use, care and ownership of firearms. This, unfortunately, has been greatly neglected. The federal and state governments have both been working toward the gradual elimination of all firearms. PRINCIPLES, cont’d. on Page 4

Amendment against the rightful liberties of the American people. It would help to vote for new representatives, and eliminate all the gun grabbers in Washington, D.C., and stay on constant watch!

Constitutional Principle: Guns are a God-given right.

Our Founders reasoned it properly. Guns are the instruments which support God-endowed rights. They are tools for preservation of the individual, his home, his land, and his other natural God-given rights. They have great force, which often is of essential value within our republic. Their force, when properly used, is used within our system to defend, protect, guard, and to secure freedom and liberty –

not to assault! The gun itself does not decide to pull the trigger. That responsibility is left up to humans. Criminals are the assaulters! Not the guns! Out of 350,000,000 people, the percentage is low of those who severely abuse guns; however, that percentage could have been of a much lower sum if the government had not allowed the “well-regulated” militia to dissipate in America after the Civil War. It is logical that a man (or woman) must have some sort of aid for the defense of him (or her) self, and for that of his (or her) country, other than just bare hands.

Constitutional Principle: The true militia is an armed population.

If we are not to go back to using knives, bows and arrows, clubs, or like today, cans of spray paint, for our defense, we must wrestle with the subject of the proper use of guns by armed citizens, and the restoration of proper training of the citizenry, individually and collectively, as in a wellregulated militia. It is the original

Constitutional militia training that needs to be restored. We are a nation who kill our young and future citizens in abortions, but leave open the gates for totally untrained people and criminals to enter, who come from communist countries, and are unaware of the purpose of our militia system.

Constitutional Principle: The right to arms is the keystone of our liberty.

The keystone amendment that backstops all of the other nine amendments in the Bill of Rights is the Second Amendment. It is the linchpin for all other rights in the Bill of Rights, a document that cannot be repealed, revoked or rescinded. The Second Amendment carries a “shall not be infringed” order with it. Yet, the well regulated militia has been infringed, and if no corrective action is taken, the right to arms itself is headed for gradual dissolution. The well-regulated militia was constitutionally meant to include the whole people.

Constitutional Principle: The Constitution and Bill of Rights belong to the people.

It is highly important to keep in mind that both the 1789 Constitution and the 1791 Bill of Rights were ratified by the people. These two documents belong exclusively to the people. They are their possession! The Bill of Rights and its Second Amendment were meant to be in perpetuity and never repealed, revoked, or rescinded. This is the reason the key rights were placed inside this sanctuary. Congress does not possess the power or the authority to violate it. The Dianne Feinstein’s, and others to-

day of her kind in government service, are in serious violation of our laws.

Constitutional Principle: Consent of the governed is a requirement.

There is only one way that the prime rights in the Bill of Rights can be taken away (snookered away) from the people, in violation of the endowment given to them by the Creator, and that is, if the people can be mentally manipulated (brain washed) to request, consent, require, or support that such general and complete disarmament be done. There never has been any true permission granted, nor consent given to prohibit use of hand guns by the people. Today only a falsified document stands in federal records authorizing a complete prohibition of all hand guns. There never has truly been the required “consent of the governed” obtained! The globalists dream of fulfilling “the general and complete disarmament program” (the congressional law signed by John Kennedy, known as Public Law 87-297 for U.S. cooperation in world disarmament) exists as the authority for such madness! When the militia was operating in proper order from George Washington’s time to the Civil War time period, anyone who was not mentally or physically fit to be a member of the militia was discovered and dismissed by the Brigade Inspector of each county. A Brigade Inspector was in existence and in charge of every county in the U.S.A wherein every man was required to take annual militia training unless two practicing surgeons PRINCIPLES, cont’d. on Page 24

Printing more money won’t solve the United States’ debt problem

By Neil Irwin The Paul Ryan budget plan released Tuesday starts by laying out a grim scenario for America’s fiscal future: “Unless we change course, we will have a debt crisis,” it says. “Pressed for cash, the government will take the easy way out: It will crank up the printing presses. The final stage of this inter-generational theft will be the debasement of our currency. Government will cheat us of our just rewards. Our finances will collapse.” Wow, grim stuff. It’s a dark outline of America’s fiscal future in the absence of some major overhaul of government finances, but Ryan is not necessarily alone in forecasting it. You can hear elements of that forecast in everything from the doom-and-gloom investment newsletter crowd to the language centrist deficit hawks who consider it a given that a debt crisis has already begun. As my colleague Ezra wrote Wednesday, there’s a solid argument that today’s budget deficits are too small, not too large, and that future deficits are less of a crisis than Washington discourse would suggest. It’s worth diving into

a second part of the Ryan view of the world, however: The idea that the Washington’s eventual reckoning with its debt problem will be

through printing money, unleashing vicious inflation. There is certainly historical precedent for governments funding them-

selves through the printing press and nasty inflation resulting: Most disastrously during episodes like the hyperinflation of 1920s Germany or early 2000s Zimbabwe; more prosaically by the likes of Italy’s central bank in the 1970s and 80s. So could the

United States follow their example? Many of the opponents of the Federal Reserve’s “quantitative easing” programs, by which they have pumped $2 trillion into the economy in recent years by buying government bonds and other securities, as a first step toward doing so. But there are a couple of big problems with that theory. First, the items in the federal budget that are the overwhelming drivers of long-term deficits wouldn’t really be helped if the government were to unleash massive inflation. The federal government has pledged to pay for medical care for the elderly (through Medicare) for the poor (Medicaid) and provide basic retirement income (Social Security). But for each of those programs,

inflation wouldn’t solve the government’s financial problems. It would make them worse (to put it in the technical language, they are real obligations, not nominal obligations). In other words, if the Fed becomes feckless and allows double-digit inflation to take root, the cost of medical care will rise by double-digits too (or even faster, if the pattern of recent decades holds up). Social Security payments are indexed to inflation; that policy could be changed, but any politician who tried to freeze Social Security (particularly at a time of high inflation) would surely find grayhaired armies of angry seniors in their office making their dissatisfaction known. So inflation wouldn’t offer Congress much of a way out of its deficit problems; indeed, it could make them significantly worse. But the second assumption that Ryan’s dark vision of where government debt could lead us also demands another assumption: That the Federal Reserve’s tradition of independence will crumble and that a future Fed will allow inflation to get out of control. This is possible, of course. It happened as recently as the 1970s, when Fed chair Arthur Burns allowed inflation to get out of control in no small part due to political pressure from the Nixon administration. An acquiescent central bank is crucial to understanding the inflation episodes mentioned above, in Germany, Zimbabwe, and Italy. But a lot has MONEY, cont’d. on Page 24

Currency devaluation FOCUS on... By Joshua Curtiss, Currency devaluation takes place when one country’s currency is reduced in value in comparison to other currencies. After currency devaluation, more of the devalued currency is required in order to purchase the same amount of other currencies. A fictional example: If last year, one U.S. dollar purchased 10 Mexican pesos, then this year, one U.S. dollar can only purchase five Mexican pesos, the U.S. dollar has undergone a currency devaluation. Currency devaluation can take two forms. It can either be the natural result of market forces, or it can be the result of government intervention. In the first scenario, the global market changes its opinion about the stability, value or future of a currency and decides that it is willing to pay less. In the second scenario, a nation’s government fixes the relative price of their currency below its present level and prohibits currency exchange at any other rate. Currency devaluation can help

to achieve a more desirable balance of trade. For nations experiencing a trade deficit (when imports exceed exports), a currency devaluation will reduce the price of their products abroad and increase the price of foreign products in domestic markets. Increased demand for products in other countries due to lower prices can also mean more jobs and lower unemployment rates at home. Currency devaluation also has negative consequences. Individuals holding a recently devalued currency have lost international buying power. Their ability to purchase goods or services from other countries has diminished. Additionally, if a government artificially devalues its currency, it may be forced to purchase its own currency with foreign reserves, depleting its own assets and ability to pay public debt. This occurred in Russia after its 1998 currency crisis. In 2001, the Argentine peso was pegged to the U.S. dollar. One peso was equal to one dollar. However, DEVALUATION, cont’d. on Page 24

Stunning U.S. Grant Hotel

SAN DIEGO — The Padres were playing my hometown St. Louis Cardinals and my wife and I decided to have an overnight getaway at the U.S. Grant, part of Starwood’s Luxury Collection. Its location is perfect; at the gateway to the Gaslamp Quarter and within walking distance to the ballpark. The full service hotel is owned by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, one of San Diego County’s indigenous Native American tribes. They recently spent $56 million to remodel the property after purchasing it for $45 million. Almost 100 years earlier, the hotel had been built for the then staggering price of $1.9 million. The grand lobby, staircase of marble and alabaster, wood paneling and crystal chandeliers have been lovingly restored to echo an historic and storied past. There is a refined feel that permeates the hotel and it reeks of a grand era gone by. It pays homage to U.S. Grant, the two-term President of the United States and

By Jeri Jacquin, Movie Maven Now in theatres from disaster director Roland Emmerich and Columbia Pictures is a tale of actions when it comes to “White House Down.” This film tells the story of John Cale (Channing Tatum), a prior soldier who is now applying for a job with the Secret Service at the White House. Trying to impress his young daughter Emily (Joey King), who is not only politically savvy but also sees President Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) as her hero, Cale takes her to the interview. Once their Cale runs into Finnerty (Maggie Gyllenhaal), who calls out all of his imperfections and reasons he wouldn’t be right for the job. Walking out with a straight face, Cale takes Emily on the tour. What they don’t know is what is going on around them – yet! A group of men have infiltrated the White House led by Stenz (Jason Clarke) along with computer whiz Tyler (Jimmi Simpson). In a blink the whole building breaks out into chaos

as Vice President Hammond (Michael Murphy) is whisked away and others go into lockdown. President Sawyer doesn’t stay with the bad guys long as Cale jumps into action in a game of cat and mouse. But the bad guys aren’t the only ones dodging and weaving in this dangerous game with Walker (James Woods) and General Caulfield (Lance Reddick) trying to call the constitutional shots! Channing Tatum as Cale is going to keep audiences on their toes. Trying to do what’s right by his family turns into doing what’s right to protect our nations leader. Tough role with light hearted moments. Playing opposite Foxx, this dynamic duo keeps the action going! As President Sawyer, Foxx doesn’t hesitate to get right in and do whatever it takes to keep the government in tact. Promising new career path in a red hot industry Professional advancement for the military Throughout American history, the brave men and women of our armed forces have returned home after their tour of duty only to find that civilian life is drastically different from their career life in the military. This realization has been endured by those returning from both World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the period beginning with the Persian Gulf Conflict through to present deployments. While we appreciate and honor our veterans serving our country and returning home unharmed, we at The American College want to help them transition to a fruitful and fulfilling life out of the military. So, what resources exist to help veterans as they transition into the civilian workplace and to develop their talents and skills? The Department of Defense provides programs and support to veterans who seek help with their job search— but in many cases, these offerings may just not be enough, or may not be a good fit for the individual. Newly formed by the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, in conjunction with The American College, The Penn Mutual Center for Veterans Affairs offers exceptional scholarship opportunities, and eventually job placement, for our veterans and their spouses. The Center is committed to providing military scholarships that cover the tuition cost of prestigious designations or Master’s Degree programs offered by The College. This opportunity is unmatched in the financial services industry. The Center is also a valuable resource to industry companies—which can easily obtain information about the services and scholarships offered. Whatever the choices made by our returning veterans and their spouses, additional personal development is usually needed. The Penn Mutual Center for Veteran Affairs through The American College is the place for them to come. The Penn Mutual Center for Veterans Affairs is now here for the betterment of your career! Help your College help you, and those who risk their lives for each of us to have the freedoms we enjoy, through scholarships and support for these courageous men and women. Learn More about The Penn Mutual Center at TheAmericanCollege.edu/PMCVA or call Todd Gorman, Director at (610) 526-1437.

Historic landing: Osprey on Japanese Ship By Doug Aguillard During the month of June, Operation Dawn Blitz 2013 took place off the San Diego County coastline from Coronado to Camp Pendleton and included exercises at San Clemente Island. Three Japanese ships were using Naval Base San Diego for this historic exercise aimed at demonstrating confidence in the Marine Corps’ Osprey, the hybrid helicopter-airplane. Over 1,000 Japanese personnel of the Japanese Self Defense Force participated in Dawn Blitz 2013 along with the Armed Forces of Canada and New Zealand, along with the United States Navy and Marine Corps, bringing a total of over 5,000 troops to this training exercise. This was the first time New Zealand and Canada had participated in this exercise, which was only restarted in 2010 off of the San Diego County coast. Japan’s selfdefense force has sent troops to train

Sea. With both countries modernizing their armed forces, it was reported by a Japanese news service that China requested that the Dawn Blitz exercise be cancelled. Since the Second World War, Japan is Constitutionally not allowed to build an offensive force, but their military is to be used as a self defense force.. This may be changing as the United States is pushing Japan to aid more in their country’s defense and interest. Although the tension continues, China is still expected to take part in the U.S.-led Rim of the Pacific exercise in Hawaii next year, which also includes Japan.

CHARGERS REPORT

Three questions about the offense as training camp opens July 26

By Art Garcia, Jr. For the first time since 2003 the Chargers finished a season with a losing record. As if the 7-9 record wasn’t bad enough, both the Chargers and their fans had to watch the post season from the sidelines for the third consecutive year as well – costing both A.J. Smith and Norv Turner their jobs. Enter Tom Telesco and Mike McCoy. As the new GM, Telesco brings with him a highly respected reputation as having an eye for talent after learning under Bill Polian and helping evaluate the players for the Indianapolis Colts

teams over the last decade. For his first order of business Telesco hired the hottest coach on the open market in McCoy. As an assistant coach under John Fox, McCoy learned from one of the best coaches in the NFL with stints in Carolina and Denver. His ability as an offensive coordinator to adjust and tweak his offense to successfully highlight Tim Tebow’s talents in 2011 and transition with Peyton Manning last season made McCoy the top coach on many teams list for the head coaching spot. With training camp set to open on July 26, here are three questions

surrounding the offense as the team begins a new era under a different regime. Will the changes in the offensive line be good enough to protect quarterback Philip Rivers and establish a respectable running attack? The biggest concern entering the offseason was upgrading the offensive line. After giving up 49 sacks and averaging a measly 3.6-yard rushing average in 2012, Telesco knew changes had to be made. Deciding to keep only two of last years’ starters – C Nick Hardwick and RT Jeromey Clary – the Chargers signed four free agents and used their number one draft pick on RT D.J. Fluker to compete for not only starting positions but, that much-needed depth that has been lacking the last couple of years. At first glance, it appeared as if Telesco was bargain shopping after signing LT King Dunlap and OG’s Chad Rinehart and Rich Ohrnberger

– veterans all but no real ‘big-name’ recognition. However, the signing of twotime Super Bowl winner LT Max Starks along with Fluker has added some credibility to Telesco’s signings. It is now up to new O-line coach Joe D’Alessandris to pick out the five best players in training camp and form them into a cohesive offensive front. With lineman Stephen Schilling, David Molk, Colin Baxter, Johnnie Troutman, Brandyn Dombrowski and Mike Harris all returning to battle for roster spots, the line will hopefully turn into a scrappy, reliable unit. Can Philip Rivers return to a topnotch quarterback after three disappointing seasons? The best news for Rivers is that he now has an offensive coordinator and a head coach – rather than having one in the same. As an offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers Ken Whisenhunt tutored a young Ben Roethlisberger into a Super Bowl winner and as head coach he took the Arizona Cardinals to the big game with Kurt Warner behind center. A quarterback is only as good as the players around him and Rivers is no different. If I had only known about “this” sooner - things What is the “Correct Treatment?” would be very different today. “That depends, there is no one That’s what many knee arthritis pain sufferers are saying about this technol- answer when it comes to medical conditions and knee arthritis is no different. ogy and treatment. “We all know that countless lives That’s why, if you have knee pain, you are being saved every year because of should have it evaluated by a doctor early detection and better treatment of who deals with and treats knee pain cancer,” one of the physicians at Osteo every day,” stated the clinics director of services. sufferers. This is similar to running your car low or without oil. Obviously, the sooner you put oil back in the car - the less damage will be done. That’s why some doctors feel early viscosupplementation gets the best results and is so important for avoiding surgery. And the Doctors believe one of the most important factors for the success of viscosupplementation is making sure you are getting it into the joint space. That’s why the doctors at Osteo Relief Institute use advanced imaging technology called a “C-Arm.” A C-Arm allows the doctor to see into the joint and actually watch the injection go where it is supposed to. Research shows that performing injections without digital imaging can result in missing the joint space as much as 30% of the time. If you had viscosupplementation treatments without advanced imagining and did not get good results - this may be why.

Can This Be Avoided? Total knee replacement is serious surgery requiring months of rehabilitation. Some doctors think modern treatments done early enough can keep baby boomers from going under the knife.

“If you have knee arthritis pain, viscosupplementation might be the answer you are looking for. The keys are to not wait, get a good evaluation from an expert and make sure advanced digital imaging (CArm) is used to make sure you have the best chance for success.” was the advice of the doctors at the Osteo Relief Institute.

Free Knee Pain Screenings Offered To Help Determine If San Diego Area Residents Qualify For Popular Treatment

San Diego area knee pain sufferers have limited time to claim knee pain screening to see if all-natural knee arthritis treatment might work for them If you qualify for this treatment, it might be one of the happiest days of your life. That’s because, for the past year and a half, hundreds of knee pain sufferers have flocked to Osteo Relief Institute located in San Diego, California. That’s when their specially trained doctors added viscosupplementation treatments to their already successful and comprehensive knee pain relief program. Viscosupplementation is unique because - even though it is manufactured by a pharmaceutical company, it is NOT considered a drug because it is a natural substance with an incredible story. Why So Many Want It You see, when you suffer with arthritis - the lubricating fluid (synovial fluid) in your knee joint dries up. This means instead of gliding smoothly - your bones start to rub and grind against each other. This causes a little pain in the beginning - but over time the pain steadily gets worse until it is excruciating. Like “Joint Oil” Viscosupplementation works so well because it is like “joint oil.” It is a natural substance that contains one of the natural building blocks of the synovial fluid that lubricates your knee. Scientists and researchers discovered this natural building block to synovial fluid in the rooster’s comb -

that big red thing on top of the rooster’s head. It is extracted from the rooster’s comb, purified and concentrated. When it is injected directly into your knee joint, it is like squirting oil on a rusty door hinge. Viscosupplementation allows your joints to glide more smoothly eliminating a lot of the rubbing, grinding and pain. Can Supplements Do The Same Thing? No. Glucosamine and chondroitin and other supplements are much different. You can only get this from a doctor and it often helps knee pain sufferers who got limited or no success from glucosamine and chondroitin. Beware of unsubstantiated claims made by supplements that claim to do what this advanced medical procedure does. Why You Should Try This Even If You’ve Already Had Similar Treatments Without results... “We have been able to help so many knee pain sufferers - even many who have already tried other injections like Synvisc, Supartz, Orthovisc and even Hyalgan. We use special and very advanced low-dose videofluoroscopy imaging called “Hologic Digital Imaging” so we can see right into the joint. This allows us to put the Hyaglan exactly where it needs to be. Studies show doctors doing joint injections without fluoroscopy miss the joint up

to 30% of the time.” said the head of Arthritis Treatment at Osteo Relief Institute. Osteo Relief Institute is a state of the art medical facility offering only the best technology. And that’s not all - Osteo Relief Institute has a complete knee relief program called “P.A.C.E.” to make sure you get the most pain relief and the best possible results from treatment. “Every case is individual. Some patients get quite a bit of relief right away - others take a little more time. But most have been extremely happy and the results usually last for at least 6 months. Patients who were suffering for years with bad knee pain are getting their lives back... going for walks again and exercising. It’s amazing to see. They tell all their friends - that’s why we are swarmed. I can’t tell you how many patients have cancelled their total knee replacement surgeries.” added one doctor. How To Get It If you have knee pain, the doctors would like to invite you for a risk free screening to see if you are a candidate for viscosupplementation treatments and the P.A.C.E program. All you have to do is call 619-3774456 right now and when the scheduling specialist answers the phone tell her you would like your risk free “Knee Pain Screening.” The specialists at Osteo Relief Institute can only accept a

Advanced Medical Technology Can Make All The Difference: This advanced digital imaging called a C-arm allows doctors to see directly into the knee joint so treatments are precise and the Hyalgan actually goes where it is supposed to. limited amount of new patients each month for this screening - so if you are interested please call now. Your risk free screening will only take about 25-30 minutes... you will get all your questions answered and leave knowing if you have possibly found the solution to your knee pain. And here’s something really important - Viscosupplementation treatments and the P.A.C.E program are covered by most insurance and Medicare. To schedule your screening today call 619-377-4456.

If You Can Answer Yes - You Are Eligible For A Knee Arthritis Screening With The Experts At Osteo Relief Institute Do you have pain and osteoarthritis (arthritis) of the knee? Have you tried other treatments such as NSAIDS and other antiinflammatory medications without success? Have you already tried viscosupplementation (Hyalgan, Suparz, Synvisc) without satisfactory results?

Everyone Wants Proof: In the artist simulated drawings above, picture #1 is a normal, pain-free knee. There is no arthritis and the knee can move and bend freely without pain.

Pain - the red is a knee joint with painful osteoarthritis. Arthritis causes the joint space to decrease, grinding, stiffness, decreased motion, bone spurs, swelling and a lot of pain.

Successful Treatment - Viscosupplementation (blue) being precisely injected directly into the knee joint using Hologic digital imaging. Advanced imaging allows treatments to be as precise as possible. This cushioning can lubricate the joint and decrease pain.

Failed Treatment - the injection (and cushioning and lubricating material) misses the joint space. Research shows this occurs up to 30% of the time without the use of Hologic digital imaging to guide the injection. This is why other treatments may not have worked for you.

If you answered yes to any of these questions - give Osteo Relief Institute a call and schedule your risk free knee pain screening 619-377-4456

Lakers who need to step up next season By Richard Le, www.bleacherreport.com The 2012-13 season was full of underachievement for the Los Angeles Lakers. For L.A. to even hope to return as a competitor in the Western Conference, several members of their current roster must step up and take on a bigger role than they played in their previous campaign. With a team that may lose its post presence in Dwight Howard and has already lost its leader, Kobe Bryant, for a large chuck of next season, it is of the utmost importance that a leader emerges from the locker room to help the Lakers tread water. Whether it be their perimeter defense, interior defense or their offense in general, the Lakers are in desperate need of help. Due to the fact that they are well over the cap even without Dwight Howard, L.A. is going to need to shore up these issues by expecting more from the players they have on their roster. Given the fact that there is no guarantee that Howard or any other player not currently under contract are resigned, the committed players must be prepared to pick up the slack for a fallen Kobe Bryant and a roster that is in major turmoil. AUTOMOTIVE

The only way the Los Angeles Lakers are even going to be competitive is if Steve Nash returns to form and becomes the creator he was at the tail-end of his tenure with the Phoenix Suns. Monkeying around

A guy walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink and while he’s drinking, the monkey starts jumping all over the place. The monkey grabs some olives off the bar and eats them, then grabs some sliced limes and eats them, then jumps up on the pool table, grabs the cue ball, sticks it in his mouth and swallows it whole. The bartender screams at the guy, “Did you see what your monkey just did?” The guy says, “No, what?” “He just ate the cue ball off my pool table - whole!” says the bartender. “Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me,” replies the patron. “He eats everything in sight, the little twerp. I’ll pay for the cue ball and stuff.” He finishes his drink, pays his bill, and leaves. Two weeks later he’s in the bar again, and he has his monkey with him. He orders a drink and the monkey starts running around the bar again. While the man is drinking, the monkey finds a maraschino cherry on the bar. He grabs it, sticks it up his butt, pulls it out, and eats it. The bartender is disgusted. “Did you see what

your monkey did now?” “Now what?” asks the patron. “Well, he stuck a maraschino cherry up his butt, then pulled it out and ate it!” says the barkeeper. “Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me,” replies the patron. “He still eats everything in sight, but ever since he ate that damn cue ball he measures everything first

Just for Laughs

Redneck tips for success: Part One

GOING OUT: 1. Never take a beer to a job interview. 2. Always identify people in your yard before shooting at them. 3. It’s considered tacky to take a cooler to church. 4. If you have to vacuum the bed, it

Amy Winehouse

is time to change the sheets. 5. Even if you’re certain that you are included in the will, it is still considered tacky to drive a U-Haul to the funeral home. DINING OUT: 1. When decanting wine, make sure that you tilt the paper cup, and pour slowly so as not to “bruise” the fruit of the vine. 2. If drinking directly from the bottle, always hold it with your fingers covering the label. ENTERTAINING IN YOUR HOME: 1. A centerpiece for the table should never be anything prepared by

a taxidermist. 2. Do not allow the dog to eat at the table ... no matter how good his manners are. PERSONAL HYGIENE: 1. While ears need to be cleaned regularly, this is a job that should be done in private using one’s OWN truck keys. 2. Proper use of toiletries can forestall bathing for several days. However, if you live alone, deodorant is a waste of good money. 3. Dirt and grease under the fingernails is a social no-no, as they tend to detract from a woman’s jewelry and alter the taste of finger foods.

MONEY

Cont’d. from Page 6 changed since Arthur Burns’s time, and the idea that a central bank has not just the power, but the responsibility to prevent inflation from getting out of control is deep-seated within the Fed and other central banks. We don’t know who President Obama will appoint to the Fed chairmanship when the job comes open in January 2014, let alone who the next president will appoint four years after that. But the Volcker-Greenspan-Bernanke Feds have spent a long years building credibility around their determination to keep annual inflation around 2 percent. It would mark a remarkable reversal if within the next few years future Fed leaders decided they were willing to cast that record out the window. In other words, if the Fed chair of the future does his or her job right, the central bank will not allow inflation to soar to 5, 10, or 20 percent just because Congress is too unwilling to

make hard choices; rather, they would hike interest rates, reining in inflation and making the cost of deficit spending that much higher. It’s true that the Bernanke Fed has been constantly pushing toward easier money in recent years. Bernanke also has been Fed chairman during a neardepression. If anything, though, the fact that the Fed has taken those steps even while they have been politically unpopular should give us more confidence that they will reverse course if a day comes when inflation is getting out of control—whether the politicians in charge like it or not.

Cont’d. from Page 12 ficials who think they know better. Woods gets a chance to make the audience react on so many levels and it works beautifully. King as young Emily is smart and on the ball with no fear, which gives her an edge. This film is action packed, with humorous moments and everything director Roland Emmerich brings to his films. The cast digs deep and dodges well but everything isn’t as it seems. If you’re looking for a summer blockbuster to cheer about then WHITE HOUSE DOWN is it!

PRINCIPLES

Cont’d. from Page 5 declared him unfit. In that time period, farmers were trained to be soldiers overnight if and when it was necessary.

Constitutional Principle: The people are the final authority in a republic.

In spite of their falsifying the “consent of the governed” to abide by Public Law 87-297, the federal government has been hesitant to enforce the civilian population to disarm other than on a gradual basis, outlawing only certain guns at a time, periodically. Closing and realignment of U.S.A. military bases was achieved under the Base Realignment and Closing Commission (BRAC) just a few years back. The plan for a totally disarmed population is a scandal of great magnitude! When the militia was operating in proper order from George Washington’s time to the Civil War time period, anyone who was not mentally or physically fit to have a weapon or to be a member of the militia was discovered and dismissed by the Brigade Inspector. The Brigade Inspector was in charge of each county’s militia in every state of the Union. Every man was required to take militia training unless two practicing surgeons declared him unfit. The plan to disarm Americans cannot be stopped unless the people are awakened in time and are made to realize that their republic is being turned into a dictatorship.

The key is how long it will take for the quarterback and receivers to get on the same page where the scheme becomes second nature and everything clicks as planned.
