TRUMP-BIDEN REMATCH?
If Trump gets a rematch against Biden, who has not officially announced his candidacy, the competition could become one of the longest and most impactful political duels in American history, spanning several years and multiple elections
Trump will have a difficult time because 95% of major media are liberals and some lean far left and are extremely bias with its persecution of Trump and his family .Trump can also be his own worst enemy with his tweeting and his out of control ego .The good thing
about his ego is when he promises to do something, almost all the time he does it because he believes he’s one of the greatest presidents and it would crush his ego to be proved wrong .
During his presidency our economy was robust ,the stock market index doubled ,we were oil Independent which made our country strong and his aggressive plan produced the covid vaccines .
If Biden runs, most people will question his cognizant abilities because of his age , his repeated
forgetfulness, not knowing how to exit podiums and calling out dead people during his rallies or slurring his speech and mumbling incoherent sentences. Biden has been led by the extreme left wing of the Democratic Party and we are becoming more dependent on Big Government. Eventually the U.S. will become like Russia or worst yet China, who rules their people from birth to the grave .
Our economy is becoming weaker , gas prices are double compared to Trump’s tenure, inflation is at a 40 year all time high , crime is rampant
and our military is not just weaker but no-one wants to enlist anymore
I believe in climate control but at a much slower pace. We need technology to advance so we can control climate in a sensible way that doesn’t kill our economy and if our government stays the course it will kill our people. I know I seem to be very bias when it comes to Biden but I’ve asked my democrat friends to tell me the good things Biden has done for our country , so far and the only answer I get is “ he’s better than Trump “ .
YOU CAN BEAT A RACE
of letting the horse win and knew no one would claim the horse especially when he gave instructions for the jockey to pull the horse and make sure the horse ran last or next to last . With the horse losing six races in the span of three months and dropping down in class every time his betting odds rose continually . My dad had no doubts that Good Sweep was ready to run , in great condition and would be an easy winner in the $1500 dollars claiming race .
Time to give the horse his Head
The Birth of The Military Press
BUT YOU CAN’T BEAT THE RACES
In my previous memoirs I’ve talk about Wheeling race track . that had impact on my youth . In 1954 my dad had purchased three thoroughbred race horses which we raced at numerous tracks in West Virginia and Maryland . One of the horses that my father bought was named “Good Sweep” and he raced in $25,000 races that was equivalent to $300,000 to $1,000,000 million dollars today . Good Sweep was broken down with the bowed tendon and my dad bought him “On the Cuff ” which meant in racing terms my dad didn’t put up any money and didn’t have to pay any money unless the horse return to racing and won ! My dad put the horse out to pasture on a farm and had a Vet fire the tendon so that the horse might be able to race again. Good Sweep was on the farm for almost a year and he finally became sound which meant he could race again . We took the horse down to Wheeling Downs race track in Wheelings West Virginia which was own buy Bill Lias who was one of the biggest mobster at the time . He did not have the notoriety but he was compared to being as big as Al Capone the head of the mafia in Chicago in the 20s and 30s .
My Dad’s “ Get Rich Plan “
My dad knew a trainer that was a bit shady who also had a jockey that would do whatever he was told to do. My dad’s plan was to race the horse a number of times in large claiming races from $12,000 to $10,000 to $5000 all the way down to $1500 dollars . He had no intentions
In racing terms “ Give the horse his Head “ meant to let the horse run as fast as he could . His odds where 99 to 1 and my dad slowly bet $500 to win on our horse and his odds dropped to 8o to 1 which meant my dad would win over $40,000 dollars. ( By the way , we bought our brand new house in an up-scale neighborhood for $5000 dollars in 1950 . ) The race was 6 furlongs and my dad gave instructions to the jockey to break the horse fast from the gate , take him to the front and given him his head .
And their Off
At the start of the race the horse broke cleanly and was in front of all the other horses. After 2 furlongs he was leading by 8 lengths , after four 12 lengths in front with no one gaining on him. My father and I where in the grandstands by the fence and the finish line was in front of the club house about one furlong or 660 feet away . As the horses entered the stretch Good Sweep was leading by almost 20 lengths and my dad and I began running towards the finish line when all of a sudden it sounded like a 2 x 4 just broke. I’ll never forget the expression on my father’s face when Good Sweep broke his leg about 30 yards from the finish line , $40,000 dollars down the drain and the horse had to be euthanized . I know that broke my father’s heart as well as his 14 year old son “ ME “ but as the saying goes “When you mess with the Bull … you get the Horns !“
USA Vs Other Countries
Countries with the Highest Single and Family Income Tax Rates
Updated May 21, 2022
If you could live anywhere in the world, wouldn’t you want to know the potential income taxes before moving and how that compared to the U.S. tax rates? Perhaps, but that’s not the only question to ask. Your filing status of single or married is also a factor in determining which locations might have the highest income taxes. What’s more, the countries with the highest taxes on high incomes— Slovenia, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, and Portugal—are mostly different from the countries with the highest taxes on average income earners.
Countries With the Highest Income Tax for Single People
Let’s look at the countries with the highest all-in average personal income tax rates at the average wage for a single person with no children. The
top five are Germany (38.9%), Belgium (38.4%), Lithuania (35.8%), Denmark (35.3%), and Slovenia (33.7%).
How the U.S. Compares
The United States comes in at 24.4% in this category of average-earning singles with no children, giving it the 22nd highest tax rate. The countries with the lowest all-in average personal income tax rates on single people with no children are Chile (7%), Mexico (10.8%), and Korea (15%).
You might think a country’s high taxes are a valuable trade-off if you receive lots of social insurance benefits, your standard of living is high, and you think the government uses your tax dollars wisely.
U.S. Tax Rate for Married Couples
The United States comes in at 12.6% in this category, giving it the 31st highest tax rate. The countries with the lowest all-in average personal income tax rates on married single-earner couples with two children are the Czech Republic (6.5%), Chile (7%), and Switzerland (10.7%).
What Countries Have the Lowest Personal Income Taxes?
Chile at 7%, Mexico at 10.8%, Korea at 15%, Estonia at 15.6%, and Switzerland at 17.1% have the lowest all-in income taxes for single filers with no children. The following five, is order of ascending income taxes are Israel, New Zealand, Spain, Japan, and Canada.
The Bottom Line
Income tax burdens vary so much by country because of the rates at which each country funds social insurance programs, such as old-age pensions and healthcare. In some countries, such as the Netherlands, social insurance taxes are significantly higher than basic income taxes.
Each country provides different levels of benefits to its citizens, and individuals get different returns on the sums they pay into social insurance programs based on personal factors like income, age, and health status.
Different countries put taxpayers into different brackets based on their
income level, marital status, and the number of dependents. Just because a country has an especially high or low overall income tax rate doesn’t tell you much about how you would fare in that country with all the circumstances that make up your unique situation.
Escaping Taxes by Renouncing Citizenship
Citizens of the United States cannot escape paying U.S. income taxes just by moving to another country. All U.S. citizens, regardless of where they choose to reside, are still legally obligated to file U.S. income taxes in the same way as if they were living in the U.S. It may seem appealing, but renouncing citizenship is not an easy task.

SHRINKFLATION accelerates globally as manufacturers quietly shrink package sizes
But it didn’t respond when asked why the 28-ounce version is more expensive.
Smaller boxes in the cereal aisle began last year, and shrinkflation has ballooned from there.
reduces demand. “Consumers check the price every time they buy, but they don’t check the net weight,
Shrinkflation happens when companies keep the price of an overall package the same while reducing the size or quantity of the items in the package. The word is a combination of two words Shrink and Inflation . Shrinkflation appeals to manufacturers because they know customers will notice price increases but won’t keep track of net weights or small details, like the number of sheets on a roll of toilet paper. Companies can also employ tricks to draw attention away from downsizing, like marking smaller packages with bright new labels that draw shoppers’ eyes.
PepsiCo recently began phasing out the 32-ounce Gatorade bottles in favor of 28-ounce ones.
PepsiCo didn’t respond when asked about Fritos. But it did acknowledge the shrinking of Gatorade bottles. The company recently began phasing out 32-ounce bottles in favour of 28-ounce ones, which are tapered in the middle to make it easier to hold them. The changeover has been in the works for years and isn’t related to the current economic climate, PepsiCo said.
Shrinkflation is a sneaky way to combat the effects of inflation. When ingredients and manufacturing are more expensive, companies have two primary choices – increase prices or make smaller products. People typically shop by price so raising prices
As a result, most companies resort to reduced sizes. These size changes are often subtle, like making candy bars sold in multipacks smaller than the ones sold individually or changing the shape of the container.
Recruiting Hurdles
US Military Faces Biggest Recruiting Hurdles in 50 Years
While all the military services struggle to attract new recruits, the Army’s hurdles in particular paint a troubling picture for Pentagon leaders. Despite reducing its recruiting goals, the largest military service is falling more than 10,000 soldiers short this year, and is projecting a gap of at least 21,000 active-duty troops in 2023.
The US depends on strong, all-volunteer forces to carry out its foreign policy and defend strategic interests. Military leaders often say their services are only as good as their people. With operations shifting to the realms of cyber, artificial intelligence, and hypersonic weapons, and China and Russia challenging US leadership globally, the lack of qualified recruits could become a fundamental national security handicap.
Military services have had to contend with recruiting hurdles such as mental and physical health posed by the coronavirus pandemic, and now must compete in a tight labor market against private companies that often offer more alluring benefits.
Obesity a Challenge
Creating a “uniquely challenging environment” for recruiting are several factors, including, a declining veteran presence across society, and uninformed messaging by non-military organizations that “unduly highlight the risks of military service,” Miller explained in her prepared testimony.
Pentagon data show 77% of youth 16 to 24

years old aren’t qualified for military service without waivers. Almost 44% of such youth are ineligible for service for multiple reasons, the most prevalent being overweight, according to Miller.“Of greater concern is the number of youth who believe military service will harm them in some way,” she wrote in the testimony, pointing to young people’s belief that military service will leave people with psychological problems, or difficulties adjusting back to everyday life.
Between 11% to 20% of troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan have post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, in a given year, according to the Veterans Affairs Department’s National Center for PTSD. That compares to about 6% of the US population as a whole that will have PTSD at some point in life, and about 12 million adults who have it during a given year, the agency said.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), the panel’s chair, said those who served report positive experiences. “They end up with more education, higher household income and greater level of civic
engagement than their peers who did not enter military service, and veteran unemployment is lower than the general unemployment rate across the country,” Gillibrand said in her opening statement.
Army in Dire Straits
The Army is facing the most acute recruiting problems. The service will will finish fiscal 2022 with about 466,000 active-duty soldiers—10,000 people below target, according to Lt. Gen. Douglas Stitt, the Army’s deputy chief of staff for personnel. The decline doesn’t stop there: Service leaders project that active-duty numbers will fall to between 445,000 and 452,000 by the end of fiscal 2023. That’s down from the 473,000 active-duty soldiers the Army projected in its budget request for the fiscal year starting Oct. 1. “Our objective is to regrow our end strength to 460,000 or more as quickly as possible, and we will pursue this objective aggressively,” Stitt said in prepared testimony. “However, we will not sacrifice quality to meet end strength.”
In contrast, the Navy is likely to meet its activeduty recruiting target but is falling short with recruiting into the reserves by 1,800 people out of a goal of 7,400. Officer recruitment is also facing trouble, according to Vice Admiral Richard Cheeseman, the chief of naval personnel. Meanwhile, the Marine Corps is facing “significant enlisted recruiting challenges,” but has been able to make up the gap by “an exceptional retention year,” said Michael Strobl, the Marine Corps assistant deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs.
The Air Force will meet active-duty recruiting goals for this year “by a narrow margin with a minimal bank of ready recruits for 2023,” Lt. Gen. Caroline Miller, the deputy chief of staff for manpower, said in prepared testimony. The Air Force National Guard and Reserves are expected to miss 2022 recruiting goals by approximately 2,400 and 1,400 people, respectively, according to Miller.
