This partnership is part of Mayor Barrett’s Strong Neighborhoods Plan, launched in September 2013 to combat the city’s foreclosure crisis. One area of emphasis of the Strong Neighborhoods Plan is selling city-owned foreclosed properties. As part of this initiative ACTS will receive $200,000 in City support to assist with the sales of City-owned properties. The signing took place at 3543 N. 18th Street, Milwaukee, which is the home of Henry and Ana Vivas, past participants of the ACTS homebuyer program.
