Robbie received her formal education in the Chattanooga, TN school system.

She accepted Christ as her savior as a young child and was united with St. Matthew CME church in the 1960s, where she served as a breakfast program volunteer. Robbie was united in holy matrimony with Carlton Chandler, Sr. on June 11, 1964 in Milwaukee, WI. Their union was blessed with two children. She was employed as an environmental services worker by Milwaukee County Hospital for 15 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed singing, cooking, reading, and playing with her children and grandchildren. Robbie Beatrice Chandler departed this life on May 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Turner Ford; mother, Beulah Ford and brother, Frank Fulton Ford. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Acquinetta Luria (Kenneth) Greaves, Karen Lucinda Ford, and Carol Denise Finger; one son, Carlton (Ana Maria Rosales) Chandler, Jr.; one sister-inlaw, Pearl Ford of Chattanooga, TN; eight grandchildren, Aaron Greaves, Tao Greaves, Jaden Greaves, Deondre (Allison) Norton, Olivia Rosales Chandler, Raquel Rosales Chandler, Paris Chandler, Andrya Rose Witczak and several beloved great grandchildren.
