Perhaps you spoke the kindest words That any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much Whatever the part.

elmer Cegers, the Queen, has left us. She leaves behind her loving children - daughter, Brenda Cegers; and son, Eartherly Briggs. There wasn’t anything Velmer wouldn’t do for her children. She loved them with all her heart. Her love extended to her family and friends. She had a big heart and would go out of her way to help in any situation, in whatever way they needed. Whether it be advice, money, a kind word or a meal. She would do it all to help someone in need. Velmer loved the Lord and was a servant who lived and helped as the Lord commanded her to do. Velmer was a wonderful cook. She always cooked plenty of Soul Food for family dinners. We could not get enough of her good cooking. Many people encouraged her to go into business and sell her wonderful food. Velmer always had a great love of music Music was such a big part of her life that toward the end, while in the nursing home, she had her radio on 24/7. Farewell our Queen Velmer. You are Now at Home in the Presence of the Lord, but your children, family and friends will miss you and we will never forget. - Love always, Brenda & Eartherly
