Obituary
Order of Service
Wallace Blanchard Stuart, Jr. was born on January 2, 1959 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He attended Washington High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, participating in the school’s band, and serving as a team manager for the boy’s basketball team. He graduated in June of 1977. Wallace received a Christian Baptism in his youth at the United States Air Force Base Chapel at Lajes Field, Azores, Spain, in May of 1960.
Musical Prelude...................................................................
Wallace was employed by Milwaukee County and served as the receptionist at the Milwaukee County Zoo for 25 years. He enjoyed working at the zoo, taking 2-3 buses to get to his job daily. Rain, sleet, snow, hot or below zero weather, he was always there. In his leisure, he enjoyed listening to Jazz and R&B music and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers. Wallace aspired to be like his mentor whom he called Pop (Al Holmes). Wally was a kind, gentle loving man always looking out for others, most times even before meeting his own needs. He never let anything hold him back, meeting many personal challenges, but always finding ways to succeed.

The inside reads: You’ve guided me and challenged me and inspired my every achievement. Every success I’ve enjoyed is a reflection of all your hard work and how you pushed me to be and do my best. And today I am thankful...not only for the mountains you’ve moved for me, but the ones you made me move myself. Today I’m thankful for the amazing mother you’ve always been to me. Happy Mother’s Day
