Disc golf was designed for players from all walks of life and disc golf courses are often in public parks, open year-round and FREE to play on in all weather. Disc golf follows the rules of traditional golf, where players strive to complete each hole in the least number of strokes possible. However, instead of using a ball and clubs, players throw discs, much like Frisbees® but smaller and designed to ï¬y with more precision for the sport. The sport truly is loved by many. Try it out for yourself! Check out the 18-hole disc golf course, located near The Lodge. Find more information about the course on the UDisc App.

Letâs experience a bit of Japanese college life with a variety of exhibits and presentations, and some mingling with students too. From socializing to solitude, we will move to Mt. Nakano Momiji for a peaceful hike at this famous Kyoto-inspired mountain park that is particularly beautiful in the fall. We will also visit the top of Mt. Hachiman where you can see Mutsu Bay and the Paciï¬c Ocean at the same time, a very rare sight.
MT. MITSUISHI HIKING AND CAMPING
Mt. Kurikoma (elevation 1,626 meters) straddles Miyagi, Iwate and Akita prefectures. People refer to the sight of the mountain completely covered in fall foliage as âThe Carpet of the Gods.â On the way back we will stop by a wild hot spring; a HOT waterfall ï¬owing straight out of a volcano!
