What is your favorite memory at the Teen Center?
When I finished my first cardboard suit of armor, and my friends were there. I was excited because the suit had taken about a month, my friends and I had a cardboard duel!
What do you wish the Misawa community knew about the Teen Center?
I wish that more teens knew about the help offered and the safe feeling of the Teen Center. It’s a safe place to talk about things, the staff offer help for studying and there are a lot of fun games and things for us to do.
How would you describe your experience as a Military Child?
Challenging socially, but a learning experience with every move. I’ve grown a lot from being a military child, more so than being raised outside of it. The Teen Center has helped me grow and expand my talents and interests.
