Woodworking Instructor Arts & Crafts Center

What is your favorite part about working at the Arts & Crafts Center?

The best part of my day is making custom orders. I also really enjoy talking with hobby customers and teaching woodworking techniques.

What do you wish the Misawa community knew about your programs?

Anyone can come to work on their own projects in the Woodshop and I am here to answer any questions and give advice. Someday I hope to offer a basic woodworking class for kids.

What is your favorite memory at the Arts & Crafts Center?

Many years ago, I was asked to make a custom table with F-16 planes for legs and coins inlaid into the tabletop for the outgoing commander. They later sent me a 'Thank You' letter from the Pentagon, which was really cool!
