MISSION AFRIKA SØGER DEVELOPMENT OFFICER FOR SAT-7
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Development Officer to join our Development Department in Cyprus. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic media project proposals, overview and coordinate the implementation of projects and relevant donor reporting.
Summary of key responsibilities
O Development of fundraising proposals for SAT-7 projects in cooperation with all relevant SAT-7 stakeholders
O Conduct frequent MENA context analysis with special focus on the situation for Christians, FoRB, women, children, disabilities, education etc.
O Monitoring and management the correct implementation of the projects (scope, budget, schedule, quality etc.) as defined by the Projects Managements Methodology (PMI)
O Oversee research related to measurement of the success of different projects
O Work closely with the International Office Communications Department for the portfolio projects
Qualifications and requirements
O Be sympathetic with and enthusiastic about the purpose and goals of SAT-7
O ·Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position
O Relevant university degree is required e.g. Social Sciences, Political Sciences, International Relations, International Development Studies, Conflict and Peace Studies
O Knowledge of Middle East political, socio-economics and religious issues is essential.
O Experience in project management, Communications for Development or/and Christian ministry,
O Be a proficient communication writer able to express SAT7’s Christian identity to corporate and statutory funders
O Knowledge of Arabic, Turk or Farsi would be an advantage
O Be flexible, demonstrating a “can do” attitude when taking on new challenges, leading by example missionafrika.dk/jobopslag

Gabriel Souleymanou har arbejdet som missionær i Mali i 14 år. Han og hans familie er faldet godt til siden de i 2008 sammen med fem andre familier fra Cameroun flyttede til Mali. Arbejdet med at styrke kirker i Mali er gået godt, men de hviler ikke på laurbærrene. De vil videre. De vil til nabolandet Senegal.
Kaldet til at hjælpe flere
I september 2022 rejste en delegation fra Mission Afrika sammen med ledere og missionærer fra MFLM i Mali til Senegal for at færdiggøre og underskrive en samarbejdsaftale med ELS den lutherske kirke i Senegal.
