The Missouri Athletic Club offers a variety of youth programs and camps to keep the youngest Members of the Club engaged. For all MAC Youth Program activities and camps, please register online prior to each event. Members can visit mac-stl.org and explore pages under the Youth Programs tab to learn more.

MACTIVITIES
MACtivities is back for another season! Starting Friday, Oct. 7, MACtivities will be held most Friday nights in the West Clubhouse Gym from 5:30-8:30 p.m. MACtivities provide supervision while children ages 5-12 play their choice of games.
MACAMP
This October, the new Friday night MACamp programming begins! This program will be available at the West Clubhouse on specified Friday nights (listed below) throughout the fall season from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This program is intended for children ages 5-9 who desire more detailed programming on Friday nights. Online registration is required to attend. Registration opens every Monday before camp at 12 p.m. Save the dates:
YOUTH ACTIVITY ROOM
There will be extended Youth Activity Room Hours during the morning and afternoon on Oct. 10 (Columbus Day) and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). There will be 12 slots available, $7 per child, and children must be 5-12 years old. The extended hours are 9:30-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 and Nov. 11.

MOVIE NIGHT
There will be a Movie Night on Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. To ring in the holiday season, Santa Clauses (2022) and Elf (2003) will be featured at the MAC Movie Night back-to-back.
LOOKING AHEAD
F No MACtivities will be held on Friday, Nov. 25. F Black Friday Day Camp will be Friday, Nov. 25, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. More details to come. F All Holiday Camp dates and programs will be announced in the November issue of the Cherry Diamond. Check the website for updates!
YOUNG MAC RUNNER CAPTURES NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Young runner Jackson Miller, featured in last August’s Cherry YOUTHDiamond, continues to make his mark nationally. The son of Missouri Athletic Club Members Katie and Josh Miller, Jackson recently won the gold medal in both the 1,500 and 800-meter races at the AAU Junior Olympics in North Carolina. His 1,500-meter run came within a half second of the National Record for 13-year-olds.
Jackson had an undefeated 2022 season in both events. The eighth grader who attends St. Clement school also runs Cross Country. He was the 12-year-old National Cross Country Champion in 2021 in the 3000 and is shooting to do the same this fall as a 13-year-old.
“Josh and I are very proud of Jackson’s track and cross-country accomplishments, and these achievements are all his own,” said mom Katie. “He plans for each race. Jackson does his homework and is well prepared. He recently told Josh that, ‘the job isn’t done’ for him, meaning, he has many more records to break and goals to achieve. With each race, he is building for the next. We look forward to watching him grow in the sport. We are so proud of his hard work, determination and passion, but above all, we just love to watch him run.”
