Anchors Away The Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to help send the Anchors to their convention in March is coming up fast. The dinner will be held October 8th at Highlands Baptist Church on the corner of Ft. King and 36th Avenue. The planning meetings for this will begin

soon. Some things to think about is we are going to need noodles and lots of them, salad, bread, tea, sauce, meat and HELP!! The planning committee is going to try and get as much of this donated so there is not a lot that we will have to get. This was a

GREAT success in February. Lets try and make this one as well. School Begins August 22. Remember that while out and about in town the 1st week of school to look out for the kids big and small.

Club News Barbara has planned a social outing for August 20th to the Ivy House in Williston. If you are interested in going please contact Barbara, so that she can add you to the list. We are meeting at Publix on Hwy 27 at 10 am. Carpool-

ing to and from. This will be a fun trip for all those attending . Remember to bring your Happy and Sad dollars to support Mrs. Winnie Brewer’s Installation as the PI President in 2012.

This money is to help offset the Florida District’s Financial responsibility. Our Club will be donating $50 to PIF in loving memory of Martha Martin - we sure love and miss you Martha!

International News Have you signed up for the “Pilot Grapevine” at Pilot International’s website www.pilotinternational.org Enter your email address. You will get updated information as it comes along.

Pilot Scholarship Houses... The Pilot Scholarship House Foundation (PSHF) relies on the dues paid by the Florida Pilot Club members and on donations for support. We need to make sure we pay

our dues and even help with donations to the Foundation. All the money contributed helps to get the scholarships and helps with up keep and maintenance at

the houses. Those are our houses and we need to take care of them and those girls who reside in them because THEY are the Future.

“Dues and donations to the PSHF helps the girls be able to live in the houses.”

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday… For the Month of July We have sold 26 bags We are averaging approximately $79.00 a week. Giving us a grand total for the month of July $397.25 **the Insulated Grocery bag was a big hit. August Line up for Saturday's August 6 - Bonnie, Mandi and Debbie August 13 - Helen and Sue H August 20 - Lisa and Cindy.

August 27 - Gaye and Barbara ** I will need a volunteer to pick up the bags, tables and money on August 20. I will drop them off in the morning but if someone could come about 12:45p and help break down everything. I will be driving to the Ivy House and I don't think I can return in time.

If you could let me know where the tables and items will be on Monday. I will come and pick them up to get them ready for the next Saturday. Remember to find your own replacement if you are not able to make it on your Saturday.

Susan G.

Day of Caring….. Helen is happy to report the Day of Caring Project has been ordered and the Committee hopes it will go well. It is to be 4 1/2 inch Gingerbread Man ornaments which will require Tacky Glue so remember to save those small jar lids for glue pots. The girls will have

fun with this one and we trust it will keep them busy long enough. We need to have a Pilot or an Anchor Advisor at each table to oversee quality!

of Caring is September 24th at Trinity High School at 9 am. Cindy Williams, Carole Vitale, and Helen Helvenston are in charge of this Project. If you have any questions please call or email them.
