How to Claim Your CPEs

Earn at least 13 CPEUs from attending sessions at this year’s Summit! The Virtual Expo will also provide CPE which can be earned by attending during the Spring Summit live dates. Certificate Templates can be found under the Whova “Resources > Documents.”

When logging CPE from the NE Spring Summit, log each educational session individually, not the Summit as a whole. There are multiple learning formats offered throughout the conference. These formats correlate with different activity types, set forth by CDR:

171 – Live Webinar/Teleseminar | 175 – Recorded pre-approved CPE* | 130 – Exhibits**

Live Session Certificate Template

Use this certificate to log your CPE from the 2023 Spring Summit. Fill out this template and include the session title, activity number, and date in the certificate template. The activity number for each session can be found in the full Event Agenda on page 4.

Recorded Session Certificate Template

Use this certificate to log any session you did not view when it initially aired live, as a recorded pre-approved CPE activity: 175 Lectures/Webinar. Please fill out the certificate with the session title, activity number, and date you viewed the recording. The activity number for each session can be found in the full Event Agenda on page 4.

Exhibits Cpe Certificate

Use this certificate to log your CPE from virtual exhibits. To log CPE for exhibits completed note the date and amount of time spent viewing exhibits.

Exhibits (Activity Type 130) do not need to be listed separately. One half (0.5) CPEU is equivalent to 1/2 contact hour (30 minutes).

E.g. Engaging with Exhibitor for 30 minutes = 0.5 CPEU

* A maximum of 50 CPEU for RDs or RDNs and 33 CPEU for DTRs or NDTRs may be claimed for Activity Type 175 during the 5-year recertification cycle.

** A maximum of 15 CPEU for RDs/RDNs and 10 CPEU for DTRs/NDTRs may be claimed for activity type 130 during the 5-year recertification cycle.
