Hi!

We are Tully Scho Educate T

ool Together

Here’s a little bit about us...

Educate Together is a modern, dynamic charity that is redefining standards in inclusive, learner-centred education. It is providing a long-overdue choice of equality-based primary and second-level schools for thousands of families in Ireland. It is working to transform the learning environment for all pupils so that they are properly prepared for life in the twentyfirst century. Our Ethical Education curriculum ‘Learn Together’ supports children’s moral and spiritual development and teaches children about different belief systems. They also learn about democracy, human rights and stewardship of our environment. This curriculum has been developed over 35 years in Irish primary schools and is an important part of making Educate Together schools welcoming and inclusive. This can also be seen in our core values, as set out in the Educate Together’s Charter...

Child-centred Our child-centred approach means that we put children at the heart of all policies and practices and involve them in decision-making where appropriate. Democratically-run We run schools on a democratic basis, encouraging participation by parents and students whilst positively affirming the role of the teachers. Co-educational All children are encouraged to explore their full range of abilities and are provided with equal opportunities regardless of their gender or identity. Equality-based All children have equal access to the school and no one religion or worldview is given priority over another within the school.

That’s why crea a community is important to u

Educate Together is working towards an Ireland in which all people have access to an excellent education that is inclusive of all, irrespective of belief system, race, ethnicity, class, culture, gender, language and ability. We are committed to enabling and supporting each child to achieve their full potential while at the same time preparing them to become caring and active members of a culturally diverse society. We are right in the middle of all the excitement in Cherrywood as the community around us is growing. Between the Residential, Retail and Parks, the community is thriving.

ating s so us!

We will be lucky enough to be surrounded by four parks within the Cherrywood community. One of which, Tully Park, is right at the doorstep of the school. The area around our school is drenched in historical significance and is surrounded with lots of native wildflowers, shrubs, trees and informal paths to wander. Children nowadays are rapidly losing connection with their local natural environments so incorporating environmental-based education makes other school subjects rich and relevant and gets students excited about learning!
