The People Power Revolution offers several lessons. We can see the courageous solidarities and coalitions that might mobilize against authoritarian restrictions on civil liberties. Yellow in Filipino history should be remembered as a color that embodies all the qualities shown in the movement, and it highlights the best of Filipino core values. It must remain an important symbol of the strength, determination, and faith of the Philippine people, and it should serve as an impetus for renewed efforts towards achieving the ideals of liberal democracy. The Yellow Revolution will always be the victory of the Filipino people, and it will always serve as another reminder that the Filipinos, throughout our history of struggle, will always be capable of toppling our oppressors. Without the movement happening, our everyday life as we know it today might be different with constant restrictions. Luckily however, we have freedom to go on about our day, without the need to fear.
