ReForm Shadowplay Ege Carpets

Tessera Perspective Forbo Flooring Systems

Produced on the infinity weave allowing for multi-level loop constructions, Shadowplay has a great commercial potential. In this collection by Carol Appleton, the construction creates a sculptural texture influenced by the distorted shade and light. Two coordinating patterns, Umbra and Obscura, can be used alone or together to compose layered shadows which dance across the floor.

Designed, manufactured and stocked in the UK, Forbo’s new Tessera Perspective collection features a delicate lattice weave design that has been developed through the use of two different, yet tonally similar, yarns. Brew92 King’s Road, Jeddah Liqui Group

Atomeca, Manchester Lister + Lister

Liqui Group has completed the interior architecture of Brew92, King’s Road. Set within a strikingly angular, almost brutalist-like building, Liqui Group has created every element of the interior, merging elements of both Scandinavian and Japanese design. As well as having a decorative quality, the oak window structures also temper the sun’s intensity, providing much-needed shade, alongside reducing solar heat gain, thus reducing the need for air conditioning and lessening the building’s energy consumption.

The brief was to evoke a feeling of a continental cafe during the day and an intimate wine bar at night. The venetian blinds, dark colour palette and low lighting were all key to achieving this. The large panels of layered mirror and reeded glass behind the bar reflect the daylight and change appearance as the evening arrives. The sharing table at the heart of space was the conceptual starting point and was made locally from Foresso.

Pigeon Post Bar & Eatery, Hilton Cologne THDP The hotel was once home to Cologne’s postal savings bank, a landmark building on the famous Marzellenstrasse. The building’s heritage is the inspiration for the interior design – expressing this vintage vibe, considered, contemporary with fun quirky details.
