Welcome, to the New Jersey State Ministerial Conference of the Church of God, Annual 82nd Annual June Conference 2015, “ADVANCING THE KINGDOM THROUGH CONNECTION & ACCOUNTABILITY” Micah 6:8 (NKJV) “ He has shown you, O man what is good; And what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” The Conference Program Team believes by faith that your weekend here {The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village) will be a blessed and rewarding experience as we are empowered to strive toward the high calling of Christ Jesus. People have tried all kinds of ways to please God, but God has made his wishes clear: He wants his people to be fair, just, merciful, and humble. God wants us to become living sacrifices not just doing religious deeds, but also living rightly. Come and be refreshed by Early Morning Prayer and Praise, the Workshops, Celebration Banquet: another wonderful opportunity for celebration, praise, worship, fine dining, as we honor our loved ones near and dear to us, and finally, the Sunday Morning Worship Service, which includes a Licensing/Ordination Ceremony. Once again, by His grace let us continue to Advance the Kingdom Connecting Contributing with Significant Accountability to the uplifting of the NJ Ministerial Conference of the Church of God and to act and react with integrity and Godliness of purpose. Pastor Dexter Edmund
Conference Workshop Facilitator & Evangelist Dexter Edmund serves as the Lead Pastor of the New Dimensions Church in Lanham, Maryland. Both he and his wife Yolanda have served together in Ministry for 15 years, and with their 3 children Dejay, Daniel, and DeAnn continue to grow as a family and ministry team. A graduate of Morgan State University, Pastor continues to perfect and sharpen his leadership gifts through reading and directed study in the Word with assistance from a number of spiritual fathers, mothers and mentors. In December 2011 Pastor Edmund completed a Masters degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Pastor Dexter has traveled extensively as a Kingdom Ambassador sharing the good news of deliverance, restoration and forgiveness to many who have been blessed by his kind, thoughtful and encouraging style of ministry. He is often asked about the many churches he visits, “I enjoy the fellowship that traveling in ministry gives me, and yet there is nothing that blesses me more than to serve the New Dimensions family”. It is this universal affection for the people of God everywhere and in every place that is the heart of Pastor Dexter’s ministry, and is always evident when he teaches. He has embraced his “jubilee” year with passion and a commitment to learn, grow and be more in the Kingdom.
Kevin Eugene Caldwell
Conference Workshop Facilitator Kevin E. Caldwell has been a New Jersey business owner since 1980, when he formed his first company, STG Communications Inc. several years after leaving Howard University, where he majored in chemistry. He felt he wanted to do more in life than just chemical research. He then acquired ownership of the construction firm in 1986 that his father formed in 1957, Caldwell Contractors. Kevin soon became interested in real estate and began investing in multiple family dwellings. He expanded the scope of the business in 1988 and formed Nebtu Management, a property management and investment partnership in existence for more than 25 years. Kevin Caldwell is viewed as a ‘ bridge builder ’ and community business leader who has run five or more successful businesses in the last 35 years. He has advised more than thirty other business owners on enterprise development. He has been a guest speaker or presenter in a wide range of venues from local High Schools to Columbia University, Rutgers University, Raritan Valley College, The Enterprise Center and Churches in the northeast and southeast regions; to speaking at Middle Schools to enrich and develop young people. Kevin Caldwell has a passion for community development, Kingdom expansion and mentoring young people and others in development and managing goal strategies. Mr. Caldwell has now transitioned from fulltime ownership in the construction business and property management, to education and program management. He is the Executive Director of The KIAH Institute, a Holistic Education and program development organization. He serves on several boards of organizations in Union County that raise awareness and build community; notably the Union County Fatherhood Coalition. Brother Caldwell remains active in music ministry for more than 25 years now and has traveled nationally and internationally in live music performances and ministry development. He views having raised his three children into contributing and serving adults, and having been raised in a strong God centered home that built values and cultivated wisdom around an authentic relationship with God, as the most rewarding of all of his experiences in life. His Motto: “To God be the Glory, for Great Things He Has Done”.
