Ohh our dear precious Rena Rose, How we’d love to see you strike just one more pose, To see you glow as you cackle with your good sisters, And sense your love and nurture even through the niest whispers, To feel your warmth as you squeeze us so near, We appreciate how you wiped away every tear, Oh how we’d love to see that beau ful smile run across your face, But we love even more the smile we know you had, when you crossed the finish line of your race, Although it is ohh soo hard to let you go, You are leaping and dancing in a much be er place, this we know! Soo like a fighter, you’ve proved the enemy to be a defeated foe once again, Because, Aunt Renay darling, your life will never end, So from now on out let’s celebrate with cheer, And reflect on the memories we hold near and dear, Today we remember all the mes you held us gently with care, And how you’d tell us, that you would always be there, And even now we understand that this s ll remains true, As our hearts and minds are forever filled with you. We love you Aunt Renay Your family

Renay Rose Price “A Daughter of God”
The Word of God, I John chapter 3, verses 1-3 ”See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” Renay Rose Price, the 10th child of the late Charlie and Daisy Lee Pi man, was born in me on Wednesday, March 30, 1955 in Arlington, Georgia. She was educated in the Calhoun County school system in Georgia. A er gradua ng high school, Renay migrated to Passaic, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce “Peggy” Sco , and her brother, John Arthur Pi man. Renay graduated from Bloomfield College with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Educa on. She was employed at The Children’s Day Nursery and Family Center in Passaic, New Jersey for over 28 years. Renay was blessed with two beau ful children, Demetrick and Candis. In 1988, she married the late Garfield Price and gained three young stepsons, Wayne, Gregory, and Dewayne. Renay especially loved arts & cra s, sewing and cooking; however, more than anything else, Renay loved her family and people. The door of her heart opened wide for children. It was no wonder she pursued a career in a field where she could follow her heart. Renay lovingly and freely invested in people as she shared her “pearls of wisdom”. She was a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, a friend, a sister, a confidant, a peacemaker, a mo vator, a soundboard; Renay was whatever, the moment required.
Renay accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life under the pastoral-ship of the late Reverend Dr. William Aaron. While a ending the Congrega onal Church of God, New York, New York, Renay served as the youth choir treasurer and the “cook” of Congrega onal. She was especially known for her candied yams, macaroni-n-cheese and peach cobbler. In 2004, Renay joined the Metropolitan Bap st Church, Newark, New Jersey under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. David Jefferson, Sr., Esq. As a member, Renay worked in the Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Reverend Bernard Wilks. She also assisted with the wedding ministry under the direc on of Margret Hacke , and LaRhonda Oliver (niece). On Wednesday October 30, 2013 at 10:15 AM, Renay transi on from Earth to Glory. Renay Rose Price leaves to celebrates her life: one son, Demetrick (Deidra) Pi man and one daughter, Candis (Michael) White, both of Bloomfield, New Jersey; three stepsons, Wayne, Gregory and Dewayne Price, all of Paterson, New Jersey; three sisters, Minister Daisy (Isaac) White, McDonough, Georgia, Be y Samuels, Albany, Georgia, Ruby N.
