Any big trips coming up? My next trip is Switzerland and then I go to Brazil for the holidays.
MODEL DIARIES Who would you say was your role model growing up? My role model growing up was definitely my grandmother. She was the one who gave me my first bold, red lipstick and she was always so dressed up. She was such an inspiration to me. Where were you born? I was born in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. What do you miss most about Brazil? I definitely miss my horses. I grew up riding them and I'm obsessed with them. Where are you living now? Right now I live in LA. What is the most California thing about you? The most California thing about me is loving to hike at Runyon Canyon. What can you tell us about your latest projects? One of my latest projects was creating my own brand, my own fashion label which I am wearing right now. It was such an accomplishment for me. I always dreamed of having my own brand. It's been really exciting. Where do you draw your inspiration from when designing your clothing line? I draw my inspiration from so many different places and people- like a real woman that I see on the streets. I definitely bring in my own style as well but also incorporate street style from when I travel to fashion week shows. So much inspires me. How do you decide what to post on your social media? It's really mostly focused on fashion and beauty, but I also include my lifestyle and my real life as well. People love seeing that. I always try to bring content where I can teach people something. How do you engage with your fans? Since the beginning, I’ve tried to be very present on every type of social media. Instagram was a platform that didn't have video at first, then YouTube became a platform that I really engaged in a lot to be able to speak with my followers. Today, it's harder. Once you grow and there are so many comments out there, I try my best to answer any questions and really try to listen to my followers. I have someone on my team who gets all the feedback that we get from the blog and from all my social platforms and gives it to me every Friday. 40 JANUARY 2020 | MODELISTE

That really helps me out to best engage with them. What is something your fans don’t know about you? Something that my followers may not know about me is that I don't like to sleep alone. I really hate it and when I'm traveling for work, but I always try to have whoever's with me sleep in my room. I just like to have someone with me. It's weird, I know, but it's me. How would you describe your personal style? Sexy, chic and feminine. What's your favorite fashion trend of all time? Sexy Slits What's your favorite trend of the moment? Puffy sleeves. Fashion icon? My fashion icon is Diane von Furstenberg. Signature scent? La Vie Est Belle from Lancome. What would you say is your beauty philosophy? My beauty philosophy is to take care of my skin every single day. When you wear makeup everyday, taking care of your skin is so important. Your makeup won't look good if you don't take care of your skin. What's a beauty product that you don't go a day without wearing? There are many products I can't live without in my everyday beauty routine, but one of them is definitely concealer. I cannot leave the house without concealer on. Favorite lip color? My favorite lip color is like a mauvey brownish color like the shade of nude but a bit darker, not so pale.
What music track always ends up on your curated playlist? Anything Rihanna. I love “Shine Bright Like a Diamond”. Current binge watch? I love so many! I love watching a good series. It's something that me and my husband do to disconnect from work since we work together. One of our favorite series is Money Heist, it's actually a Spanish series, and is so good. I cannot wait for the next season ! Most recent book you've read? I haven't read a book in a while, but the last one I read was the Outlier. If you could raid anyone's closet, whose would it be? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. What's the best advice you've ever received? Never let anyone put you down and to always believe in yourself. What's a piece of advice that you completely ignored? Follow the rules. I feel rules sometimes are made to be broken. What do you want to be known for? I want to be known for a successful entrepreneur. Who are the three women that are blowing your mind right now? Three women that are blowing my mind right now are Greta Thunberg, a teenager who's an environmental activist and two badass entrepreneurs Jen Atkin and Huda Beauty. What do you love most about Modeliste magazine? What I love the most about the Modeliste magazine is that the magazine is so cool and has the most epic editorials. I'm so happy to be on one of them now. What was your favorite part of today's shoot? My favorite part of today's shoot was actually of course the outfits, but also the vibe. Everyone was so connected. When we sat down for lunch it just felt like we were all family. That’s so rare to have happen, so that was my favorite part. What message would you like to say to your fans? Believe in your dreams. I'm a small town girl who probably wouldn't have a lot of chances in life to make it, but I did and I always believe in myself. I tell my fans to always believe in themselves and follow their hearts.

Tell us how you began your career as a hair and makeup artist? I've always been creative and very interested in different forms of artistic expression - I love that I can help sculpt a character and draw out natural beauty from the amazing people I get to collaborate with on the daily. What is your favorite hair trend this season? We are seeing so many different hair trends and an attitude shift and awareness that the scope doesn't need to be narrow - a larger range of inspiration is becoming more accessible and there are tons of fun looks and styles to try. I personally am loving jeweled accents and Baroque headbands - so so cute for holiday parties, too. What is your favorite makeup trend this season? One of my tried and true favorite fall and winter combinations is clean skin, defined brows, and a matte red lip; SO simple but so beautiful! Two of my go-to favorites are Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment in Don't Stop and Just Push Play. Go-to beauty product? Great multi-use products are absolutely clutch in my kit and in my personal life! I love a lip, cheek, and eye multiple like NUDESTIX Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze - they have several beautiful shades but I probably reach for In The Nude or Sunkissed most frequently seriously perfect for every day.
Best beauty advice?
Have fun, don't be so hard on yourself, take care to be gentle around your eyes, and always remove your makeup before bed! Style icon? I honestly don't know - I think I've drawn inspo from so many different movies, events, color palettes, ... people during my lifespan - my style is a personalized concoction of events and memories! Where did you draw your inspiration for the Modeliste Cover shoot with Camila Coelho? Camila herself was my inspiration - we wanted to let her natural beauty shine through and that it did! She's amazing, that girl! What was your favorite look of the shoot? All of the looks were SO GOOD and she incorporated pieces from her own line - Camila Coelho Collection, as well! I couldn't possibly choose a favorite. What are your plans for over the Holidays? I am very excited for the holidays because I get to spend time with my husband and our family - classic holiday films and Michael Buble's Christmas Album will be involved. Where were you born? Los Angeles, California. Where do you currently live? Los Angeles. How would you describe yourself to people who don't know you? I’m a very chill person who is extremely driven. I would say I’m really bubbly and quirky in real life even though my photos are typically dark and moody! What's something about you that would surprise your fans? Maybe that I’m only 22! Or that I used to work in a smoothie bar when I was 15! What inspired you to become an Influencer/ blogger? I used to model when I was younger and built up an Instagram following because of it. I stopped modeling because I hated how much pressure there was on me to have my body look a certain way. With blogging it was such a fun creative outlook for me and a way for me to be my own Stylist, Make-Up Artist, and Art Director! What do you love most about being an Influencer? I love being able to do whatever I want throughout day and honestly I love sharing it with my followers! What do you think is the biggest misconception about your job? That it’s easy. It most definitely is not, and it requires a ton of hard work and hustling behind the scenes. How do you decide what to post? I post what I love and photos that I am inspired by. How would you describe your personal style? I think it’s edgy but feminine. I love to mix high and low designer pieces. What is your favorite fashion trend of all time? I love high waisted denim! What is your must-have beauty product? Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream! What's a beauty tip that works every time? Lip liner before lipstick! It helps your lips stay on much longer. What is the one word that you live by? One word is hard... but I am definitely a dreamer. So, “Dream”. If you had a superpower, what would it be? Oooh flying for sure! What is your go-to karaoke song? Gold Digger by Kanye West. I know every word! Lol. Last book you read. Outlander series. SO GOOD. What is the coolest thing that you've ever done in your life? I’ve done a lot of cool things to be completely honest, I think just the ability to travel has been the coolest. What is your latest project? A fine jewelry line that gives back to women’s charities monthly. It’s called Embody Los Angeles.
What did you love most about the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos? The company! The FOOD! The black cod is my everything!!! Why do you love Modeliste magazine and our Mode Around the Globe Getaways? I love how Modeliste magazine is heavily women focused and also how they combine high and low end products. The trip was amazing, they are so generous and kind and I had such a good time. It did not feel like work! What is a country you wish to visit? Croatia, Morrocco, Brazil, Japan! Can’t choose one! What would you like to say to your fans? THANK YOU.

Where were you born? Oak Park, Illinois. Where do you currently live? Los Angeles. How would you describe yourself to people who don't know you? Shy, creative and passionate. What's something about you that would surprise your fans? I’m super into anything relating animals or nature! It’s like a secret obsession of mine and I literally send my friends pictures or videos of different animals on instagram everyday. They probably get so annoyed. lol What inspired you to become an Influencer/ blogger? It honestly happened naturally because I just love taking pictures and expressing myself and developed a following from just being myself! What do you love most about being an Influencer? I love the opportunities it has brought in my life in terms of helping me create a career path for myself with modeling, and working with tons of different brands, etc. It’s literally a job without feeling like a job and all from just expressing myself and sharing what I love. I also love all the great people and connections I’ve made through social media and events which I’ve been invited to. What do you think is the biggest misconception about your job? That it’s not taken seriously or “easy” I’m a signed model, as well as influencer through my social accounts and with both I deal with a ton of hate and insecurities daily, which was super difficult at first because I’m naturally a very sensitive person, but it all ended up helping me gain more confidence and truly not care what people think...so now I just live for me! How do you decide what to post? I always ask my close friends their opinions before I post anything! Besides that, I have to make sure whatever I post is true to me and represents myself and my brand in a positive way that I would want to showcase to my audience, as well as the brands I work with and potential brands/clients. How would you describe your personal style? I would say it’s very trendy, and girly, but still comfortable because even though I’m super girly, I’d prefer to wear a dress with sneakers over heels any day. What is your favorite fashion trend of all time? I’d have to say anything from the 90’s which is all coming back now. It was my favorite time period for fashion. MODELISTE | JANUARY 2020 117
What is your must-have beauty product? For skin care, jojoba oil because I have super dry skin and it balances everything out and makes my skin look so much better under makeup. For makeup, it would currently be Fenty’s new hydrating foundation! What's a beauty tip that works every time? Putting a little oil mixed in with my foundation. It makes your skin look so much supple & smooth, and less cakey. Best beauty advice that you've ever received? Less is more with skincare. I used to put too many products on my face trying to make it better, and wondered why I was having so many skin issues. When I started doing less in my skin regimen, my skin got drastically better! What is the one word that you live by? Literally. If you had a superpower, what would it be? To fly or be invisible. What is your go-to karaoke song? Cash Sh*t by Megan Thee Stallion. lol. Current binge watch? Love Island! I could watch it alllll day. Last book you read. Milk & Honey What is the coolest thing that you've ever done in your life? I can’t name one thing because I’m still so young , but overall just being able to travel to so many beautiful places for work! What is your latest project? It’s a secret...but stay tuned very soon! What did you love most about the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos? I loved how peaceful and beautiful it was and how friendly and accommodating the staff was, I felt super comfortable.
