What message would you like to say to your fans? I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for following me in every way. Thanks for knowing me and loving me and supporting me. It means the world.
MODEL DIARIES Where did you grow up? Kaneohe, Oahu What is one thing you miss the most about your hometown? The aloha spirit. It’s in the air there wine the people are the kindest people in the world. What do you love most about being an actress? Being able to create...feeling creatively fulfilled every day. It feeds my soul! What's the biggest misconception about being an actress? That it’s all glamour. It’s absolutely glamorous, but it’s also hard work and really long hours. When you’re doing what you love, though, it’s the best even on long days. What's the wildest thing you've ever done in your life? Don’t know how wild it is, but to me it was pretty wild! We went snorkeling in Hawaii and I saw a SHARK. Now, those who know me know I’m terrified of sharks so for me this was WILD. What's a TV show you would like to make a cameo in? So many! Probably Stranger Things takes the cake though. I love those kids and that show so much!!!

Favorite dish to cook? I looooove to cook! But my specialty is pasta and meat sauce! My favorite nights are when I’m in for the night with my hubby and I cook us a nice dinner. Favorite book that you enjoyed recently? The couple next door. I love mystery novels and this one kept me on my toes the whole way. If you weren't an actress, what would you have pursued in your life? If I weren’t an actress or singer I think I would have gone to hair and makeup school. I love being creative and in the industry! What's the hardest thing you've ever had to do in a role? I did a horror film last year called “Hell Is Where The Home Is” and It was pretty demanding. We had night shoots every night and crazy emotional scenes that required a lot!
You recently married got married in Hawaii to Chris Long. What was one moment during your wedding that you’ll never forget? It was perfect. The moment I walked down the aisle and saw his face smiling back at me. I’ll never forget the look on his face and how handsome he looked.
How do you describe your personal style? I kind of dress boyish! Lots of flannel and black but fun shoes :)
What is your favorite part about being married? Knowing I have my favorite person and best friend by my side through this crazy life. It’s the best feeling in the world.
Best beauty advice you've ever received? Coconut oil on the skin and hair. And remembering to breathe. When you breathe, you’re so much more relaxed and beautiful.
Any upcoming projects you can tell us about? Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists comes out in the spring and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. Also finishing up a film currently called “Mighty Oak” that I think is going to be a wonderful heartwarming family film.
Must-have beauty product? Rosebud salve! The best thing ever for dry lips.
How would you describe yourself in 3 adjectives? Loving, neurotic and creative. What show are you hooked on right now? Ozark. I can’t wait for season 3!! Stranger Things too.
Tell us about the Pretty Little Liars spinoff. Mona and Ali find themselves in the new town of Beacon Heights where they meet some perfectionists and have to join forces to figure out how to survive in this mysterious town. What will Mona be like in the new PLL spinoff? She’s a little more grounded...but still Mona. She is a little older and wiser and trying to escape who she was, but darkness still finds her and she’s gotta use her love of the dark side to figure it all out. How is your character Mona similar to yourself? I think I only relate to her vulnerable side...the side of her that sometimes doesn’t feel like she fits in. Other than that, I feel we are quite different, but it’s very fun to play a character so different from me. What is a typical day like for you on-set? Early morning wake ups, hair and makeup and then a fun day of hanging with cast and crew between scenes. It’s the best. What message would you like to say to your fans? I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for following me in every way. Thanks for knowing me and loving me and supporting me. It means the world. What do you love most about Modeliste magazine? I love how raw you guys are with your artists. You allow us to show the real sides of us that not everyone gets to see. HANGING BY A THREAD: Non-surgical Thread Lifting

Youthfulness is equated with looks and associated with how the skin appears. As we age, our skin gives way to wrinkles, sun damage, droopiness, and loss of volume. In our late 20’s and early 30’s the most obvious sign of aging is the appearance of expression lines which do not recede after muscle movement. In our mid to late 40’s the skin starts to become thinner and we can see the first signs of droopiness as collagen and elastin production slows down and our skin loses its ability to bounce back. The Thread Lift is the new addition to the armamentarium of non-surgical procedures to give us back our youthful appearance.
THE PROCEDURE Thread lifting is a quick and safe procedure that “utilizes a specialized polydioxanone (PDO) suture to lift droopy, loose and saggy skin. The suture has tiny barb like edges that attach to the undersurface of the skin or the underlying fat. The sutures are gently adjusted to lift and move the skin” Dr. Schweitzer explains. Patients are comfortably numbed with injection of local anesthesia into the skin during the treatment. This amazing treatment requires the placement of the threads at specific depths into the skin and it should only be performed in a clean and medical environment. Results are seen instantly and usually further improvement can be observed over several weeks as the threads stimulate collagen production around them. This is the gift that keeps on giving!
descending toward the chin, the jowls and drooping of the neck. Threads can also be used for a tummy and butt lift. Definitely not the same threads used by your seamstress to hem up your pants!
THE CANDIDATE While this is an exciting procedure to lift and tighten loose skin, it is not a replacement for plastic surgery. The best candidate is someone with good quality skin and mild to moderate drooping. “Someone with thin skin has more chances of rippling and the threads could show” Dr. Schweitzer mentions. Thread lifting is a great option for someone that can’t tolerate being under anesthesia or does not want the down time of a full surgical lift. This is literally a lunch time lift as it can be done in about one hour.
THE THREADS These specialized threads are made of suture material which has been around for many years. Dr. Schweitzer tells us that “polydioxanone (PDO) threads have tiny barb like structures which hook onto the skin to provide support and lift sagging skin. Over a few weeks the threads trigger fibroblasts to induce collagen production around the threads and keep the lifted look. The threads are eventually broken down by the body but the collagen persists for several additional months. Common thread lift areas are falling eyebrows, skin on the cheeks that drop forward toward the upper lip, the lower face

How would you describe your personal style? I would describe my personal style to be chic & edgy with a hint of boho. This meaning I always like to look polished and have some sort of wow factor (leather, studs, suede), but I love styling with my fedoras, wearing oversized pieces of clothing, fringe, and prints. What do you love most about your followers? I love that we have created a community in Hunt for Styles. I like to bounce off their feedback on what they want to see and provide more of what they respond to most. I love having people all around the world inspired by what I have to share and it’s what drives me to share more of what I do on a daily basis with them. Does your follower group have a name? If not, what would you call them? As of now there is not a specific name for them. If I would call them anything it would probably be something along the lines of “HuntSociety” , “Hunt Community” , or “Hunties”. I think I would have to give it a little more thought and obviously get some feedback from my audience, but saying “Good morning Hunties!” or “Good Morning Hunt Society!” has a good ring to it! Where do you find inspiration for your posts? I find inspiration from my everyday life -- people walking around, fashion magazines, runways, but most especially being an influencer I also get influenced by my colleagues. Being in this industry has allowed me to connect with fellow fashion bloggers that have their unique style inspo -- I know that what I do works because I use it as inspiration as well.

What was your favorite part about the Mode Around The Globe Getaway to Cartagena? I mentioned before, being part of the industry has connected me with people who have the same passions as I do. This was one of my favorite things about the trip -- being able to connect with other people in the industry. I also loved the itinerary -- it was so good! I had never been to Cartagena and in a few days I feel like I really got a taste of the culture, people, even the underground experiences.
What fashion trend are you most looking forward to in Spring? I saw a lot of yellow in September -- I know there will be a lot of textures such as crochet & feathers and mixing and matching with extravagant colors. I’m definitely a neutrals gal, so I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone and trying these trends.
What did you love most about the Hilton Cartagena? I loved the hospitality of the hotel. The Hilton has always been one of my favorite places to stay. However, in this case , it was even better because it was conveniently located by the sea and minutes away from the city centre. Plus, the views were just spectacular!
What is a location that you would love to travel to that you haven’t been to yet? I’d love to travel to Japan, Thailand, Australia, Singapore, & Brazil. My list of places that I would love to go to is huge, but these are the 5 main places that I would love to visit in the near future.
What was your favorite aspect of the Conrad Cartagena? I think the best part of the Conrad Cartagena was the greenery that surrounded the hotel. I don’t know if you know this, but I grew up playing golf and most of my childhood was spent on the course with my dad. Whenever I get the chance to go to a resort with a golf course it hits home just smelling the fresh cut grass. Again, as with the Hilton, the hospitality was incredible and the views were also amazing! What 3 emojis describe your personality. Definitely the selfie emoji with the iphone in hand -- I am on my phone sharing my life most of the time. The nerdy emoji with the glasses -- I’m a sucker for random facts and knowing more about different places around the world. Last, the red stiletto -- because I’m always thinking about fashion and how to push the envelope on a daily basis! What are some current fashion trends that you hope are here to stay? Some trends I hope to stay include mens and womens wear. This includes the fitted pantsuit, oversized blazer and white oversized boyfriend button down. I also love that nowadays we can style with sneakers and flats and still look on point. I remember those days when you had t o go out ion pumps or stilettos to look put together.
What are you currently binge watching on Netflix/HULU? American Crime Story - the murder of Gianni Versace. (too good!)
What is your spirit animal? Ellen. Is this a fit answer? haha -- if not, A sea turtle -- easy & go with the flow, grounded, but always up for adventure in any way. Slow and steady wins the race is something I find myself saying constantly. What activities do you do to stay fit? I love yoga, pilates, and cycle classes. I obviously have to maintain a semi-strict diet plan to stay in shape but I love going on hikes and working my body out in any possible way. What are a few of your travel “must have” beauty products? I need to travel with my Estee Lauder anti-aging serum. I love retinol for an everyday use. Also aloe, toner, and sunblock. Aloe to soften my skin up post retinol use, toner to get expression back into my face after soaping my face up, and sunblock to protect from harmful UV rays. What kind of food from home do you crave the most when you’re traveling? Veggies! I always find myself making every meal a cheat meal while traveling. I mean if we think about it, it’s part of the experience of being in a different place. I will not limit myself to trying something new, but when I get home all I want to do is eat my veggies and get back to my routine diet.
What’s something about you that none of your followers know? Gina: I’m actually quite shy. If I know you for the longest time, you probably will not notice. But because I broadcast my life through platforms people would think of me as an extrovert, but it takes a lot out of me to do what I do ! What is one thing you would like to say to your fans? It sounds so cliche, but jump out of that comfort zone. Like I mentioned above, what I do is really out of my comfort zone! But it is so rewarding when you actually do it, you feel a sense of self satisfaction for taking the plunge on whichever aspect of your life that it may be. Do it for you! Makeup wipes that I can keep on me, especially in warm climates. SPF moisturizer for my face. Misting sprays. What kind of food from home do you crave the most when you’re traveling? Simple foods – Avo toast (but you can literally get this everywhere), cucumber and hummus on rice cakes, roasted veggie salads. And my Mum’s cooking. What’s something about you that none of your followers know? I never tell secrets. What is one thing you would like to say to your fans? Laurie: Just to remind them that what they see on my Instagram is a curated set of images that are edited and selected from a full shoot – that I am full of flaws and have good days and bad days just like anyone else. That Instagram is not real life and we cannot compare ourselves to what we see on there. I am currently sitting in a café in old yoga pants, with 6 days of dry shampoo in my hair, no make up, eating a croissant and this is real life!!! No lies.

The world’s largest international hub will be home to Turkey’s national flag carrier and establishes Istanbul as the centre of the world for aviation and travel. Thanks to its strategic location at the crossroads of East and West, the airport has great potential for Turkish Airlines and the global aviation industry with a an annual capacity of 200 million passengers upon final completion. To coincide with the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, the eagerly-awaited Istanbul’s New Airport was named “Istanbul Airport” at the opening ceremony in October 2018, which was officially opened by President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Passengers on the first Turkish Airlines flights to the new airport, which operated under special circumstances for the opening ceremony, received souvenir tickets. The opening of the new aviation hub, combined with the dynamism and energy of Turkish Airlines, will usher in a new era for the carrier.
