WELCOME to the ISSUE
he November issue has arrived. As we embrace Fall fashion, what we are loving most about this season trends is it's the interpreters—the editors, the musicians, the actors, and the It Girls —who take what the runway gives us and spin it into something unique, personal and inspiring and often every bit as relevant as what the designer had in mind at his or her show. It reminds us how fashion is a filter for the culture of the time, and not simply about the clothes. More than ever, this issue has a strong message - one of individuality and freedom of expression, so who better to showcase the prevailing mood than our cover model, Megan Williams. Megan’s modeling career has taken her to instant stardom and has made a name for herself as one of the most coveted models in the industry. She’s also one of those women who people just tend to just gravitate towards.
Her life both on and off-set proves that women can be strong, successful, sexy, provocative, insightful and hard working. With an honest and open sense of self, a subtle air of sophistication, bountiful charisma, Megan has an air about her which feels entirely unique. On November 28th, the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show—filmed in Shanghai will be broadcast worldwide. Ahead of the steamy spectacle, we caught up with bonafide bombshell Megan Williams, who was discovered at a McDonald’s in her small hometown in England, to get the scoop on how this top models preps for the highly anticipated show. Megan tells Modeliste exclusively what it’s like to be a part of the Victoria Secret legacy, her favorite ways to stay in shape and what is on the top of her bucket list.

You always seem to be on the move, where's your favorite place that you've traveled to this year? My favorite place I've traveled to this year would probably be ... I go to so many amazing places, one of my favorite places I went to was Mauritius, it was really, really far to get too, but I mean, it was worth it.
And what do you do to pump yourself up and get yourself ready before you hit the runway? To get myself ready before I hit the runway, I'm definitely working out a lot. Making sure my body is in shape, How did you first get into modeling? just feel amazing and confident. Should I go again? I first got into modeling in my humble home town. I just think, it's so many iconic, beautiful women and to be a part of that now, it's just, it's so surreal to me. I don't believe it still. So tell us about the upcoming Victoria’s Secret show that you're going to be in. I'm super excited, because this will be second Victoria’s Secret show. Last year was in Paris, this year we're going to Shanghai. I'm just so excited, it's going to be incredible, I've got a lot of friends doing it this year with me. I'm not going to be as nervous, I'm just going to be more excited and actually enjoy my time there. 24
What is some of the best modeling advice you've ever received? Some of the best modeling advice I've received is more about your character on set. I think if people like working with you, that's really a big plus, because there's so many beautiful girls. Millions, hundreds of them in the industry that I see, so at least you can be the nicest and the easiest to work with. Hopefully, they'll have your back. What are some of your favorite ways to stay in shape? My favorite ways to stay in shape, I like to combine lots of different areas of fitness because I like to keep myself excited and into it. So, Pilates, yoga, I like to work out in the gym. I don't do som much cardio, I focus on more muscle toning and building and getting shape to my body. Who do you look up to most in the industry? I love models like Rosie HuntingtonWhiteley because I aspire to have a career kind of similar to hers, but I also like the cool bad girls like Kate Moss and I guess the Brits, because a Brit.
When I was there and I was shooting on the beach and I'm in the water. I did a really cool bikini shoot there and that was amazing, that was up there. That was up there. There was a shoot in Tokyo, which was one of my favorite cities I visited so far. What's one thing on your bucket list? I’d actually to take some time out of work, and travel more personally for me, because I've been to so many different places but I haven't had the opportunity to really explore them. I love Asia and Thailand, so I really want to go back and just really take a couple of months to travel around and see some culture. How do you describe your everyday style? I'm a very like comfy girl, so whatever's comfortable. I love denim, I wear a lot of denim, denim jackets, cool denim vintage jeans. Yeah, I think it's kind of minimalist but a little bit of New York street style. What was your favorite look from today's shoot? The pink corset, the flamingo corset was pretty epic. I've never worn something like that on a shoot so far, and we did an amazing shot with the Chrysler Building behind us. That was awesome. That has to be my favorite look. So we're here at the Tuscany Hotel in NYC, what was your favorite part about the shoot location today? The Tuscany hotel, the shoot location today, was so amazing because we just had all the space to play with ourselves in the penthouse, so we can use all the different rooms. I mean, the 360 views of the city was epic. That was pretty amazing to shoot at. What's it like being Modeliste’s next cover girl? Being Modeliste’s next cover girl is amazing and I'm very proud and I really hope you guys love the shoot.

1. First things first when working with air dried hair you need to add a little bit of moisture, either water or Bumble and Bumble Prep spray ($25 bumbleandbumble.com).

2. Next thing is you want to add a little bit of texture – that can be done with a mix of Bumble and Bumble Texture Spray ($31bumbleandbumble.com) mixed with Evo Salty Dog ($22.50 evohair.com). 3. Tousle dry the hair so it has really good natural texture and volume. 4. After the hair is dry and has product applied, then start curling hair with the large barrel iron in various ways. I personally use GHD Curve Classic Curl Iron ($199.00 ghdhair.com) in two diff sizes, always making sure you are curling the front part of the hair away from the face.

5. After the hair is curled, to finish you want to and use a texturizing spray & root powder to give it that extra lift. I recommend using Altera Perfect Texture Finishing Spray ($30 alternahaircare.com) for all over texture and Evo Haze ($32.95 evohair.com) on the roots and to hold the finish some KMS California Hairstay Dry Extreme Hairspray ($12 kmshair. com)
MAKE UP 1 2 3 The look on Megan was a Luminous face with and emphasis on the eyes. Think Brigitte Bardot with a kicked up eye liner.
1. Skin was prepped with Skyn Iceland Eye Gels ($30 skyniceland.com) to hydrate the delicate Under eye area.
2. Skin was evened out using YSL Beauty All Hours Concealer ($34 yslbeautyus.com) and a touch of YSL Beauty All Hours Foundation ($58 yslbeautyus.com). INSIDER TIP: Sheer it out with a dab of moisturizer. 3. Inglot Gel Liner ($16 inglotusa.com) was applied with a slanted brush. INSIDER TIP: Apply by pulling up towards the outer tail for an even more extended cat eye. 4. For lashes, I used YSL Beauty Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara ($32 yslbeautyus.com) and added extra product at the root of the lash. 5. Lips were hydrated with a touch of Lano lip in a dusty pink rose colour ($13.50 lanolips.com) for added shine and a sheer pigment.

Why do you feel the use of essential oils to be so important in daily life? Scent is transformative. What can we be on the lookout for? Everything's coming up roses and neroli for Campo. We are currently in the lab working on a Rose/Love essential oil blend, an ultra-hydrating lip balm and multi-use hydration mist. Our kids love Campo and wanted their own signature scent so they are busy helping us create Campo Kids.

Fall is here and with a new season there are climatic changes and beloved traditions that can affect our skin’s health. November is National Healthy Skin Month! Dr. Schweitzer recommends that you prepare for the season with good- for- your- skin habits while feeding your skin with the bounty of the season.
GIVE SOME ZEN TO YOUR SKIN “Stress can dramatically affect the health of your skin. Wrinkling of the skin, acne and dry skin are associated with stress due to the release of cortisol in the body” says Dr. Schweitzer. Taking time to relax and engage in enjoyable activities will help keep your mind stress free. Add exercise to your daily routine “physical activity boosts circulation and oxygen to the skin” promoting a more radiant looking skin and it also helps in reducing cellulite.
A GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN FEAST While most of our taste buds will be craving anything cheesy, oily, or sweet, consider including some good for your skin ingredients that may even give you a post turkey glow!
KALE: this dark leafy veggie is full of antioxidants, vitamin K, and vitamin A. Your skin will reap the benefits of promoting cell turnover, reducing dryness, increasing skin elasticity, and improving dark circles under the eyes.
IMPROVE YOUR BEDSIDE MANNER Getting a restful night sleep will also promote a healthier looking complexion. “Your wonderful skin has the ability to heal and repair damage caused during the daytime while you are asleep” Dr. Schweitzer explains. EMBRACE BREAKFAST Dr. Schweitzer explains that the first meal of the day should include ingredients that are essential to keeping your skin healthy and glowing. A good for your skin breakfast example is an omelet with spinach and feta cheese. “Essential fatty acids help with inflammation which contributes to saggy skin, vitamin A increases skin turnover which promotes a healthy glow and protein packed eggs promotes collagen production.”
CRANBERRIES: these pretty red berries are an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C. Cranberries promote collagen production which keep your skin looking younger and promote a radiant glow.
PUMPKIN: packed with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and fruit enzymes which help increase cell turnover and brighten skin.
