Can you tell us a little about you? I was born and live in Poland. I'm an amateur phot ographer. I mainly take por-traits, which I enjoy the most, but I also do produ ct photography.
How and when did you get into photography? My adventure with photography started a long time ago. As a teenager I became interested in analog photography, but it was rather a youthful curiosity than a pass ion. About 7 years ago I bought my first digital SLR camera an d fell in love with photography once again.
What does photography mean to you? For me, photography is an escape from reality. Tha nks to it, I am in another world. I tried many genres of photography b ut none of them gave me as much satisfaction as por trait sessions. This is one of the few activities that ca n satisf y two ex treme needs - the desire to meet ne w people and a huge desire to be completely alone. I love meetin g new people and sometimes I have the impression th at photos are just a nice side effect of all this. Som ething that is created somewhere in between the con versations, smiles and mutual exchange of insights. I would say that taking pictures is just a two-hour detox from ever y thing.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. A style in photography? I don't think I ever want to find it. It's a bit of a stop in development for me. And I want to develop and look for new things all the time. To discover the unexplored, so I hope I will never fin d my style.

Where do you get inspiration from? There can be many sources of inspiration. You can learn from other photo-graphers, but also from painters, musicians or film makers. And in this way you can develop your sensit ivity and photographic awareness. It often happens to me to a nalyze photos in terms of the lighting used. To sum up, any way is good, the most important aspect is to develo p constantly.
Do you think in advance what you want in the pictur e? I would say yes and no at the same time. I do sessi ons that are completely planned out, where ever y thing h appens according to a predetermined scenario. Start ing with the make-up, through the lighting and ending with t he posing of the model. But sometimes I just want t o be completely spontaneous without any plan or limitati ons.
Studio, on location or both? I take a lot of pictures in the studio, because I l ove flash light. I fell in love with it a long time ago, but I work outside as well. More and more often I combine those two things and use flas h light outside the studio.
What has been your most memorable session and why? This is a difficult question. Ever y session is uni que and brings new experiences and sensations. Each time I get incredible pleasure from it. I meet new people and when I manage to create a unique photograph the satisfacti on doubles.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid pr ofessional? I am an absolute amateur and I treat photo-graphy as a hobby.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Nikon has always been. But it's not that important to me. And my favorite lens is probably Nikon Nikkor 85 1.8
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own busi ness? I am not a ver y competent person to give advice on this subject, because I take photography only as a hobby.
What do you think of our new magazine? I am ver y impressed with your magazine and the art istic level of the photos posted. It is also worth noting that such pr ojects allow novice photographers and professionals to present themselves to a wider audience.
