Can you tell us a little about you? Yes, of course! I live in Italy and I’m a portrait photographer. I’m an etern al drea-mer, I love colours, arts, nature and cats! I love traveling to discover new places and I prefer genuine food.
How and when did you get into photography? Oh, photo-graphy is part of my life since I was little becaus e my fa-ther was a photographer, but I started to think abo ut it as a job only after 20 years. So in 2012 I decided to start my professional journey.
What does photography mean to you? Photography is my life and my obsession. I really don’t think I could live wit-hout it!
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I believe in evolution and my style is changing as time goes by. Currently I’m obsessed with painterly por-traits and I think I found my own colourful/ vintag e style.
Where do you get inspiration from? I think inspiration is ever y where, I get it from ever y thing that I see and it could be a movie, a magazine or the nature. Sometimes a l ittle detail or color it ’s enough detail to develop a new project.
Do you think in advance what you want in the pictur e? Absolutely, I love all about the process and always project ever y detail of it, but sometimes I also improvise and I enjoy it as well.
Studio, or location? Both, but lately I prefer studio.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid pr ofes-sional? I think that after 10 years of working with client s I can consider myself a professional photographer, bu t I still enjoy ever y project with the enthusiasm of a hobbyi st. Nikon or Canon? Favourite lens? Canon since the beginning. My favourite lens is 50mm, 1.2
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own bu-siness? Master you craft and take a good marketing class, other wise it won’t be a business!
What has been your most memorable session and why? The most memorable project it was actualy more than a session because it was made in 8 months and it was my most ambitious and unforgettable project because is has the meaning of the life. In fact I named the Time o f Life (a clock that represents the concept of a new life, th e wait and the reward). What do you think of our magazine? Your Maga-zine it ’s a pleasent surprise, full of good ma-ter ial and so inspiring. Keep on donig the good job!
