Iteration no. 1

During this first design iteration the above highlighted design criteria are unfolded through the overall programming of the building volumes, studied through bringing together the users functionality needs in different shapes complimenting the embedded qualities of the surrounding landscape, drawing on the learnings from the “mapping of egholm” as well as the section on “healing place” in the technical sustainability theme, pp. 22 and 28. By evaluation of the building energy performance the most sufficient volume is chosen, drawing on principles of low energy building strategies analysed in the environmental sustainability theme, p. 53.
