Canadian Specialist Hospital Announces Partnership with Jordan Ministry of Labour Association aims at boosting Nursing profession
Dubai, 26 April 2012: In a move designed to support the long-term sustainability of the nursing profession and encourage young people to seek this career path, the Canadian Specialist Hospital (CSH) announced a new charter that has been signed by CSH and Ministry of Labour in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to develop, train and employ new nursing graduates from Jordan in CSH’s Dubai premises. His Excellency Dr. Maher Al Waked, Jordan’s Minister of Labour, said; “Jordan’s healthcare infrastructure is taking dynamic strides and making rapid progress. Although we see the number of nursing graduates increasing, there are limited initiatives in place that encourage our nationals to opt for the nursing profession. Hence, we see an opportunity to educate the population about its importance. Through this partnership, we will collaborate with leading hospitals outside Jordan to encourage more Jordanian nurses and to make Nursing a more lucrative career for our nationals.” Mr. Hussein Anani, Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Specialist Hospital said: “Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a regional medical hub, which is in line with the vision of the UAE’s leadership.
