The sections below describe the amount of light (footcandles) distributed into the space. The redesign condition shows a much more even distribution than the previous one. The floor plans (left) also show an even distribution in the redesign (close left) with aid from the additional side windows.

cafe lighting redesign. moscow, id. arch 464 This project was completed in a group of two for an environmental systems class. The focus was to analyze a daylit space and redesign it for a more efficient use of daylight. The redesign included adding skylights, light shelves and additional windows. This resulted in an overall, better distribution of light throughout the space as well as a significant reduction of glare. My contribution to the project were presentation graphics and redesign ideas; as well as utilizing, Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and AGi32 for lighting analysis.
