ALL THE PARTNER SCHOOLS HAVE RECIEVED THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF 69 904 euro
PROJECT OBJECTIVES 1. broadening the knowledge of students about press, radio, television and Internet journalism and introducing them to the types and genres of journalism.
2. familiarizing project participants with the rules of spelling journalistic texts using innovative ICT tools, 3. developing the skills of creating oral statements, public presentations, including in English, 4. inspiring to creative activity, responsibility and team work also international, independent and critical thinking, 5. overcoming personal barriers, fighting xenophobia and building a bridge of understanding and tolerance while maintaining one's national identity and the value of cultural heritage,
6. bringing closer the various historical and contemporary aspects of migration in Europe.
Partner School from Greece
2nd General Lycium of Vrilissia from Athens 2nd Vrilissia High School is a public upper secondary school located in the
north of Athens which offers general education. The annual recruitment at the school is about 110-130 students who
receive general education, as well as solid preparation for university final exams. As part of the National Curriculum, all students participate every year in a
project, developed by school teachers, which includes research, contact and cooperation with outstanding people, visits to relevant places in the country and abroad. The school enjoys a great reputation among the local community and
authorities.
Partner School from Latvia
Rigas 80 vidusskola Riga's minority secondary school No. 80 is located in the capital of Latvia, Riga. 80. Riga High School was founded over 30 years ago.
The school provides 4 types of general education for the education of national minorities:
1. pre-school education 2. elementary education (from 1st to 9th grade) 3. secondary schools (from 10 to 12 classes) 4. and in mathematics, science and technology for high schools. Currently, the school's teaching staff are 70 teachers and 770 students. Teachers and students of the school take an active part in international educational seminars, conferences and forums, including international ones.
ZSiPO w Barlinku The school educates students aged 14-19 and offers general, technical and vocational education. Currently, about 676 students study at the school and the school has 56 teachers. Schools and Educational Institutions are: 1) I High School 2) Technical secondary school: IT technician, mechanic technician, automotive technician, economist technician, sales technician, hotel technician, 3) Vocational School 1st Degree in the professions: ironworker, car mechanic, mechanicfitter of machines and equipment, salesman, others (in multi-professional grades).
School: creates conditions for comprehensive development; shapes students' ability to use knowledge and prepares them for work in the modern world, shapes pro-social and democratic attitudes cares for the safety of students, moral values and shapes civic and European attitude prepares students for professional qualifications in technical and vocational school types by cooperating
with employers,
WHAT IS THE INNOVATION OF THIS PROJECT? ď‚— In its assumption, except for an innovative form of extracurricular
activities and their themes, it will present the realities and difficulties faced by migrants in partner countries and promote social inclusion and the fight against xenophobia. ď‚— Practical journalism workshops planned as part of the 2-year
curriculum and great emphasis on using ICT and working with the eTwinning method.
Planned visits: The following exchanges have been planned under the project: 3 teacher training meetings 11-2019 -1 training meeting for teachers in Barlinek, 06-2020 -2 training meeting for teachers in Athens, 02-2021 -3 training meeting for teachers in Riga,
3 students exchanges 03-2020 -1 student exchange in Riga, 11-2020 -2 student exchange in Athens,
03-2021 -3 student exchange in Barlinek
Each youth exchange involves the participation of: 6 students + 2 teachers from each sending school 36 student mobility + 6 teacher mobility in total). Students participating in the project were selected in the recruitment procedure.
TOPICS FOR THE STUDENTS EXCHANGES LATVIA III.2020 I. "Historical influence of migration on the intermingling of cultures and national heritage of partner countries. GREECE XI 2020 I. Emigration - inspiration. Meetings with interesting people. 1. Problems of emigrants / refugees - how to deal with the process of acculturation, longing for the homeland. 2. What attitude to take for emigration to become an asset and a key to success.
POLAND III 2021 I. Openness to multiculturalism. The global culture of today's Europe VS. our homeland culture and its system of values.

PROJECT RESULTS: ď‚— Intangible permanent results will include experience, skills and
knowledge acquired during the project by its participants (students, teaching staff, representatives of school partners) related to greater intercultural and linguistic awareness of the subject of the project, ď‚— The lasting results will be the practical use by the participants of
knowledge and skills acquired during the implementation of the project. Schools will continue cooperation through e-Tweening and social networking sites and the website.
