Women in Wielkopolska wore white shirts of the delicate linen On the shirt was placed tight Women wore 3 skirts. The first - red, worn from the bottom. Its edge was decorated with a wide belt embroidered with floral motifs, then the second skirt in white patterns and the third, much wider than the other, white or tiny colored flowers. On the skirts there was a silk blue apron.
Bonnet was worn during feast days, and every day the head was covered with white, linen handkerchiefs. Women's shirts were with a collar.

Skirts were smooth, striped, checkered, sparkling, all long and some were arranged in folds
Regardless to social status, each citizen of Kujawy has its own festive folk costume.
Dress of Kujawy region was made with good quality of materials and silk, which were often imported from abroad. For this reason, the clothes from Kujawy were one of the more expensive in Poland.
The Kashubian costume is quite unique and very colorful - distinguished by its beautiful and intricate Kashubian embroidery styles on shirts and blouses as well as the vests and aprons. These costumes are mainly used in their respective dances and for celebratory occasions.
Podhale is probably the only region in Poland where folk costumes are used commonly. It is partly due to a rich tradition of this region, partly to attract tourists.
