FUN FOR FAMILIES
MOOSE ON THE LOOSE
We are requesting the help of citizens in the attempt to locate a Parks and Recreation moose on the loose! It’s been spotted enjoying the many trails in Bozeman’s parks and open spaces. This fall (starting in September), the moose will be on the move every Friday, so your weekend adventures may get even more interesting! You can help the search by enjoying Bozeman’s trails, being friendly to others on the trails and taking selfies when you find the moose. Tag us @BozemanParksandRec and give it the hashtag #mooseontheloose to enter our photo contest. Revisit old trails, discover new ones and have some FUN looking for the moose. The search is on!
BUMBLEWOOD THICKET (ALL AGES)
The fairies are returning to Bozeman this fall and rumor has it that the Fairy Village is going to be extra magical (and extra big) this year. Bumblewood Thicket will only be visible to human eyes from August 28 to September 12. Located amid the winding, wooded paths of the Glen Lake Recreation Area, it will contain 20 different fairy homes and business establishments created by talented Bozeman artists, designers, makers and dreamers. New this year will be an original “walking play” inspired by the Fairy Village, with limited times and tickets available. Visit www.randomactsofsilliness.com for ticket information and more. The Fairy Village is a self-guided experience offered for free in partnership with Gallatin Valley Land Trust and Bozeman Parks and Recreation.
