AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Rec Mobile was created to SAFELY bring supervised recreation opportunities to children in neighborhood parks all across Bozeman and is back. Recreation Leaders will be on hand to lead activities and will provide all of the equipment needed. The goal of this FREE program is easy access to recreation for ALL children, especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in our programs without us bringing them to parks within walking distance of their home or school.
Location
The Rec Mobile will visit different city parks throughout the year. The schedule and locations will change monthly and are located on our website www.bozeman.net/recreation. This is a no registration required, drop-in program offered to children ages 5-11 years old.
What to Bring
- Face covering/mask - Closed-toed shoes - A positive attitude and energy to PLAY
What We Will Provide
- A safe and supportive environment - Robust sanitation and disinfecting protocols for all equipment - Limited group sizes - Activities and space that encourage physical distancing

YOUTH PICKLEBALL LESSONS – THIRD-EIGHTH GRADE
Are you new to pickleball? If so, these lessons are for you. All aspects of the game will be taught from stroke mechanics, rules, strategy and more. There will be plenty of time to hone your skills and play games. This is an excellent opportunity to start playing pickleball and to meet people of similar skill level. Equipment will be provided and fun will be had by all! Location: Southside Tennis Courts, Fifth Avenue and College Street FEE: $100 city of Bozeman residents, $145 nonresidents Wednesdays, September 8-October 13 4-5 p.m. Third-Fifth graders 5-6 p.m. Sixth-Eighth graders
INTRO TO ARCHERY – 11-14 YR OLDS
Archery is a lifetime sport and we are excited to offer an opportunity to learn the basics in our NEW Archery classes. Led by Jesse Phillips, USA Archery Level 2 instructor, these classes will cover proper archery form, how to shoot, equipment knowledge, safety and etiquette and how to have fun with this sport in a small group setting. All equipment is provided and classes are limited to 12 participants. Location: Story Mill Community Center Gym FEE: $75 city of Bozeman residents, $108 nonresidents Tuesdays, November 9-December 14 Time: 5:30-7 p.m.
ICE-SKATING LESSONS
We are excited to offer after school outdoor ice skating lessons through a partnership with the Bozeman Figure Skating Club! Lessons will take place on the rink in the Anderson Pavilion in Bogert Park and are offered to all ability levels. Bozeman Figure Skating Club instructors will lead the lessons, which will include a half hour of instruction and an hour of free skating to hone your skills. Helmets and gloves are required.
