mustangs + more if you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would definitely go to Japan. Japan is the coolest place in the world and the food there is also amazing!
Vincent Wu, Monte Vista
I would travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights, stars and beautiful landscape. Though I probably wouldn't enjoy the cold weather, that'll be a worthy price to pay for seeing the stunning country.
Stephanie Su,

Dougherty Valley
I would travel to Costa Rica to experience the culture, try to speak Spanish, see the wildlife, and eat good food!
Jade Kessinger, Las Lomas
My favorite place that I have travelled to is Hawaii. I love snorkeling in Hawaii because the ocean is crystal clear and has so many different kinds of species. I also love the food there, especially the ramen. The environment in Hawaii is breathtaking and is the most unique place I've been to in the United States.
Audrey Chin, Las Lomas
I would go back to the Caribbeans because I loved when I went scuba diving with turtles and saw a sunken ship.
Lani Yee, California

LTG NOTE Caroline Lobel * An LTG to a division is like a President to a club.
Hello, hello, Mustangs!
It's your Lieutenant Governor Caroline Lobel here with another message this month! I attended your club meeting on July 17 and I wanted to clear up a few things about my role and how it relates to you. Key Club is a
multi-level organization. On the club level, you
have the officer board who works hard to serve you. They lead club meetings and provide events to members only within Monte Vista. On the division level, I provide guidance to the officer boards and the 10 clubs they serve, with Monte Vista being one of them. I work with the Division Leadership Team to provide events for all 10 clubs to attend at once, such as division council meetings, fundraisers, and more service projects. Additionally, I give tips to club officers on how to better support you, the members. Then there's the district level, where I receive information and other tips from the District Executives and I pass them along to you. Basically, if you find yourself ever needing information about Key Club outside of the club level, don't hesitate to reach out to me! My job is to serve you ! I'm always available to be contacted through email.
As the school year starts again, there's no doubt that our Key Club activities will look different this fall. As of right now, all of our Key Club events will remain
digital, which gives you plenty of
opportunities to safely participate while keeping up with your remote studies. Since there's no guarantee what type of replacement for club [fair] will occur, I
urge all of you existing
MVKC members to share your stories with your non-Key Club friends to encourage them to join Key Club. Member recruitment is absolutely
critical, especially during quarantine since our
resources and methods will be different from the ones used in previous terms. Post about Key Club and
don't stop promoting
on social media. You are lucky to have such a dedicated club officer board who are willing to support you throughout the term. They, as well as me and the rest of the Division Leadership Team, are here to serve you with anything you may need. All we ask of you is to stay active and involved. The more you participate, the more fun you'll have in Key Club, guaranteed.
I wish you all a successful school year filled with fun Key Club festivities! Once again, feel free to reach out to me if you ever need anything!
Always serving with a SMILE,
L-O-V-E WE LOVE OUR LTG
Caroline Lobel
