Mooresville Parks & Recreation joins the ranks of elite park and recreation agencies across the country by earning accreditation through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
CAPRA accreditation is the only national accreditation for park and recreation agencies and is a measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management and service to the community. This mark of distinction indicates that an agency has met rigorous standards related to the management and admi i t ti f l d facilities, resources, programs, saf and services. As part of the accreditation process, Mooresville Parks & Recreation had to demonstrate compliance with 154 recognized standards.

Mooresville Parks & Recreation offers canine exercise opportunities at two locations, Academy Street Park and Cornelius Road Park.
The Mooresville Skate Park is the largest in the Southeast! Features include a medium and large bowl, snake run, a massive street section, double set with rails an sorted sized quarter pipes.
Enjoy a world class adventure on over 7 miles of
professionally maintained bike trails at Mazeppa Park. Whether you are starting out or a seasoned veteran, there is a trail specifically designed to challenge you.

Cornelius Road Park offers an 18-hole disc golf course that is great for beginners or accomplished players alike.
Mooresville Parks & Recreation offers athletic activities for all seasons, ages, and abilities, including football, baseball, basketball, t-ball, lacrosse, softball, and tennis.
With four multi-purpose recreational facilities hosting hundreds of programs and activities for all ages, fun is only a short drive away. Activities include basketball, pickleball, volleyball, and afterschool programs. Facility amenities include an industrial kitchen, rentable spaces large and small and much more

With multiple ways to cool off, we are your destination for refreshing summer fun. In addition to the War Memorial Recreation Center pool which holds 133,000 gallons of water, splash pads at Hope Park and Liberty Park provide hours of fun for the entire family.

Mooresville Parks & Recreation Summer Camps are designed to create fun activities that challenge your child physically and mentally, including art & crafts, science, sport related activities, day trips, and more. Camps are hosted at multiple locations, allowing for easy drop off and pick up.
Mooresville Parks & Recreation is proud to offer a world-class Therapeutics Program. These programs are designed for individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability, but all are welcome to attend.
Physical activity is important to maintain a healthy body and a sharp mind. We provide many programs geared toward older adults, creating an opportunity to stay fit while socializing with like-minded individuals.
Community Outreach is dedicated to bringing the fun to you. With programming and events throughout all of our parks, there are year-round opportunities to join in the fun.
